    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

First off why would anyone ship a snake that had just layed a clutch of eggs a few weeks earlier? And you Andrew are fully responsible for shipping that snake in that weather. I don't care how much a person may want a snake, it is up to you to ensure that animals safety. And you of all people should know better than to ship a snake in 20 degree weather.
 
Sending it Delta is a lot better than overnight. No real weather concerns at 40degrees going thru the airline.

Why would you say you were using Bob Clarks account (in OK) and use Mike Coles (in FL)?

The snake that was sent was not what he paid for and arrived dead and you haven't refunded him.

Pregnant girlfriend in jail? That's a new one.

From what I can see, you lied about the snake, lied about another deal, lied about the account you were shipping with, most likely lied about the refund check that was sent out (but then cancelled) and have not refunded the buyer after several months.

You need to get the buyer a full refund right now.
 
Until a few months ago I never knew this kind of snake person existed then I came here and freaked out.We have been easy targets for scammers If they have what we want or say they do we bite easy.This page is a blessing for the buyer.You will lose buisness over this I assure you.It has been 4 months and the buyer has no recovery what prey tell could convince anyone he would now.You speak of other deals we will see your name here again no doubt.You are responsible far all and any coast to the buyer period.Pay him now and that will go a long way but your name will forever be tarnished by this thread..

:iagree: Mike I wouldnt wait much longer. You sent him money through the mail, which constitutes mail fraud. You might have no choice but to pursue it this way. Another way is to contact an atty and have the atty put the pressure on.

The reason I feel that this constitutes fraud quite simply is because the animal in question was grossly misrepresented, and, seems intentional. Mail fraud is intent, and the gross misrepresentation of his product dictates that he was intentionally commiting fraud.

You cannot tell me that you guestimated the weight and had no clue that you were over 30% off in your estimate. For someone having large constrictor experience, your sure cant eyeball length and weight very well.

19ft and 60pds would NOT be a snake that I would want people to buying from me. Ive had 12 ft Burmese Pythons weigh more than that.

How would Delta look at you, as well as the other company, using someone elses verified shipping acct to deceive Delta. I would tend to think that in itself constitutes just how fraudulent you were willing to go. Im not trying to drag Mike Cole into this but he might have some responsibility in the end if you dont end up taking care of the customer.

If you value the people you do business with, I would take care of this patient customer quickly and decisively so this can get brushed under the rug as quickly as possible.

Had it been me, I would have gone to an atty, Delta Air, and the USPS.

no i am not his ex partner thanks.. i just got a anaconda from him... a purple albino.. a lavender tiger that... and a super tiger albino.... and a massive het albino... not a ex partner but a costumer that never had a problem.. he was always in communication and i will do bussiness again with him..

So, in other words, you gave this guy money recently that the guy could have sent to the OP, but hasnt yet. And you would STILL buy from this seller as a result? What if it was the other way around?

You JUST confirmed that this seller will not refund him the money since you bought the anaconda that the seller was trying to get paid on so he could send the OP a refund.

If you were out 2k on a snake knowing that the seller has the funds to refund you, what would you do?

One thing you need to remember Allan, you and I have spoken before;)

Dean you hit a few nails on the head...He lied about who's account he was using.Which is a big no no..Already shows he cant tell the truth..And he lied about the size by a longshot..Was the snake even advertised as possably gravid?..If not,then you KNEW it would be losing a good amount of weight.And now you have no excuse for being broke..What did you guys think was gonna happen when the snake got there?As someone who thought about your snakes,I have fully changed my mind on getting any from you...Another point Dean shows...Your buddy comes on and admitts he just got some snakes from you,so where is the cash?Why should your customer have to take it up the behind cause you dont wanna do businness the right way?We aint talking about no $15 cornsnake...This is a good chunk of money being tied up because you cant manage to keep your pregneant girlfriend out of jail (if thats even true),and you dont wanna part with the money..My advice would be to lose the girl and get into a different industry....Maybe you should start collecting pop cans or somthing?...Also,Joecool,are you the same Joecool on RZ??

Ya i find that very funny joecool that you bought alot of snakes off of andrew yet he has no money to send me? I must say that andrew emailed me last night around midnight AND TOLD ME HE WILL OVERNIGHT ME THE MONEY ON MONDAY. So i hope he comes through

In post 15, Andrew states he couldn't give the exact size because it is to hard to do by himself. In post 19 joecool states that they string measured the snake in question together and it was over 19 ft. Unless I read that wrong, that is another lie to add to the list. :shrug01:
 
ive been privy to this deal since it began. i have gotten animals from andrew and he ahs always been upfront, shipping was good, and the deals went through well. we did trades which worked out great so no money changed hands but he always let me know what was happenning and always answered my calls and questions..

a few things, 1 truth pmd me this a while back and i contacted andy telling him what was up. andrew told me from the first time i brought it up that he needed to get truth his money back and just needed to sell a few animals to make the difference.. he had a few issues with his gf's health, that also delayed some of my animals from him. among some other things. but has been straight forward never denying the fact that he owed him money and needed to get it to him. infact he told me he sent him a check before he sent it and that he was happy it was finally taken care of.. then he sent me an email stating it got lost and i told him send it certified mail with signature verification. so hopefully the money will be there.

I for one never ship in weather below 40 degress. just ask a few of my customers theyve been waiting since dec for their new babies. alot of them have tried to get me to ship early but i refuse. they might get mad but atleast their animal will arrive safely and healthy.

plus when i ship or get stuff shipped i take it upon my self to explain how i want it packaged and sent. that way there is absolutely no way it can get messed up unless they dont listen.

these are a couple easy things we can all do to make sure our shipments arrive the way we want them to..

its terrible this happenned and an animal died because of it. but hopefully it gets cleared up quickly and cleanly. with my past experiences i would deal with andy anytime. i also know hes dealt with many people without problems. i truly believe this was just a string of really bad occurrences that just happened.

I can totally understand being off when estimating length. Hell, we are all guys with 9 inch :censored:! However, being 25% off is quite a bit when dealing with snakes. 19ft looks and feels a lot different than 15ft. 100 pounds feels a lot different than 65 no matter how you look it. You can almost eyeball the weight as well. the smart thing to do in those situations is to ALWAYS undervalue the size. Make the customer even happier.
 
I am very sure that there is a very good explination .After all this is a good guy thread about wonderful customer service is it not.As well as after sale support.

Gavin, I can respect your post. I, too, hope it will all clear itself up before it gets really out of hand. I see what Andrew has to sell on Fauna all the time and he seems to be a legitimate person that got caught up in the moment. If this is the case, I would imagine that after he remits payment, it will clear his name in less time that it took to pay the man off.
