In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Andy Jones, The Pied Python BEWARE

I did ask Andy this morning if he minded if I sprayed the animals with Reptile Relief and he is ignoring my e-mails (what a shock.) I went out and bought some of this spray but do not feel comfortable spraying his animals with it because it may put these poor snakes over the edge and kill them.

Reptile relief is pretty safe stuff. It wont kill eggs, it will kill adults. I think leaving them with mites is worse than spraying them with the reptile relief. Why are you worried about using it on them? Ive never seen a warning not to use it on animals with a decent amount of mites in my time keeping... Can anybody else give some imput. Ive NEVER seen an infestation this bad ever, so i dont have any experience in dealing with something like this.

I would be personally worried about leaving the snakes with mites though. thats for sure.

That is just VILE. I'm so sorry you got snakes like that, looks like a poppyseed muffin, YUCK.

Reptile Relief is gentle enough that it really shouldn't do any harm to them. I'd hold off stronger stuff like PAM, for sure, but Reptile Relief is just about as safe as a mite-killer gets, in my experience.

Reptile Relief will only make the snakes smell like an orange. It won't work on an infestation that bad. You need Provent a Mite.

PAM will not kill the mites on the snake. A mite infestation this bad really needs a shot of ivermectin, frontline & PAM on the enclosure. At the very least frontline & PAM.

A simple google search of the address brought this up..... http://www.tmsdeliveryinc.com/contact.htm
That gives you an phone number ect to the address he gave you to ship to... It may be useful if he gives the same return address, you can call and see if the people there know the guy.....

It is deplorable that anyone could have animals living in such conditions.... I personally hope all of your animals arrive home to you safely, and all other headaches due to this failed transaction work out in your favor...

It is also greatly appreciated that you brought this to light. It is terrible that this happened to you, but perhaps you can save other people from suffering the same fate

I do not know Andy Jones, but just sent him a message via Face book to his painted python page..... While I was on his page leaving him a mesage to inform him of this thread, I did notice he had pics of a male timor python in his photos, and the caption did indicate he had a pair for sale.... Unfortunatly the pictures were very washed out by the flash so It was hard to determine what type of bedding they were on much less any creepy crawlies runnin around on them......

Okay, thats better! I just wanted to toss that out there, JUST IN CASE... We all know how crooks can be in this hobby, I would not put it past somebody to pose as another.

Maybe your instincts are right. After all, no one has accounted for the fact that while the address is in Tyler, Fedex said the package was undeliverable.

I posted a link earlier to the buisness that is located at the listed shipping address, it would be easy enough to call that company and find out if they even know the guy......

Hr claimed the address is where his wife works. Another funny thing about this is that I know he gets e-mails on his phone because he is prompt as hell replying back when it is about a sale. I sent him the first e-mail this morning and got no response for quite a while. He only called me when he discovered he could not get his hands on my snakes because of his own error. Obviously, he did not care that I was upset about the condition of the snakes, he was upset when he realized he was not getting my snakes. I will update this thread whenever I get my snakes back tomorrow morning. Hopefully they did not expire in all of this mess.

I have a question why is it his error. The info he gave you is a deliverable address, I googled it post #1 and google earth and gps since post one. So it is a dleiverable address, was no one there to receive package???? I'm a tad confused, by the whole address thing.

I saw that you did that, Justin. I'm mystified:

Fast forward to this morning and I received an e-mail from Fedex and Reptiles Express saying my package was undeliverable. I contacted Debbie who got in touch with them directly and they stated the address was bogus.

I do not know why the address was undeliverable, but I did post what Fedex e-mailed me. Reptiles Express (which by the way is an AWESOME company to ship with) said maybe the building was abandoned or nobody who works there recognized the package and would take delivery of it. Then again, maybe the karma gods were smiling on me today...
