    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks for the kind words! I have always had a great reputation for quality animals and top notch customer service and I believe thats a big key to making people happy in this business. Pruett constantly posting about me getting into trouble in the business is nothing more than another failed attempt to make me look bad...it's how the guy operates.

I am surprised he is not taking shots at you but then again this is The BOI and it frightens him here. women don't scare him and as a matter of fact I have seen him treat them pretty badly....including my friend Annette. Annette doesn't have a lot of money and she lives in Canada and when I sued Tim Bowles I asked her to write a letter and give her professional opinion about the health of the snake Tim sold me. Well Bobby Pruett contacted her and threatened her and said if she wrote a letter backing my claims that he would have his lawyer buddy haul her butt down here to the US and make her testify in court....all at her own expense. She was freaked out and said she couldn't afford to have that happen but I talked to her and calmed her down. She wrote the letter and nothing happened, which I knew it wouldn't anyway...just someone taking advantage of another...

So is there no one else who has had a good deal with this guy???
 
If the guy wasn't so dangerous to himself and others I think I would find him very amusing. He reminds me of drunk. Fun to watch but it loses the fun when a gun is placed in their hands.
 
I actually remember something about this guy collecting guns of some sort or another.

I am still waiting on the Bobby Pruett 'good guy' to transfer my domain name to me....ghireptiles.com. He said he 'had his fun' screwing with me by buying the domain and putting up a bogus ghi reptiles website, now lets see how much of a good guy you have here Joe. Pruett offered to transfer the domain name whenever I wanted it and he has yet to respond to my requests to have it transferred. Good guy huh?

Not a good guy at all. I really think Joe could have done better. But I have made plenty of maisakes. A few years ago my best friend was scamming people like crazy right behind my back, and when people would say stuff about him, I defended him. Eventually, it all caught up with him, and I learned what had been going on. I severed all ties and went my way. I guess I am just not a very good friend.
 
Well James, friendship is friendship and business is business and your "friend" affected both with you. How easily could it have been for people to throw you into his bag and do irreparable damage to your reputation and therefore your business. If he was lying to and cheating people and didn't care enough about your friendship to even be honest with you, then IMO he wasn't really your friend to begin with. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Well said, cyberfrog! It's not your fault James, and I would have backed off as well. Noone wants to be associated with scammers and it's his fault the friendship is lost... not yours.
 
I agree with you and Adam and Sarah, and I have not really thought about it too much. I do not regret my course of action for a second. Friends like that are a luxury that I can't afford. I was just thinking about it because it is easy for me to criticize Joe's judgment, but Joe has known me for some time now, and he knows that I was friends with the person that I mentioned. So, in posting, and thinking about what I was writing, I realized it can be easy for just about anyone to make an error in judgment once in awhile. Hopefully, that was the case with Joe. He has always impressed me as a stand-up guy. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Bobby...
