In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Agree 100 ^^ This should be in-house. PETA kills seized animals and 'humane societies' are not much better.

The big problem with any exotic animal hobby is that even if you are a horrible person doing horrible things, even illegal, repulsive or immoral...people will STILL but from you if you have an animal they like.

Horrible but true across the board.

No, don't call PETA or HSUS to take care of an animal problem. However, yes call animal control / whatever other authorities to help, if you feel an animal is severely neglected.

The herp community does not have the right to go into someone's property and seize animals even if they have grossly neglectful living conditions. Animal control can actually remove animals and fine people. Letting people carry on with known animal abuse / extreme neglect just because we're "afraid" of negative publicity will not help us and is the wrong thing to do besides.

I do not know how it works exactly but I think being active and helpful with investigations, volunteering to help care for or rehome animals, etc if any are seized, and so fourth would be the way to help insure animals are taken care of if authorities are involved.

To just say STOP and dont buy from him wont fix his neglectful ways. He dont belong in the industry anymore if this is how his bi polar behavior is presented in bad situations. And Animals being used for $ only and to have dogs always outside in kennels!

To just ignore him and not buy from him will only make the animals suffer even more from lack of income. He needs to be dealt with and be inspected to ensure his collection is proper. But with how he says He maintenance feeds, that's neglect but states in a more acceptable term. No snake at 5 months should be that small.

Saw this on my Wall today as this is a photo from Anthony putting a snake outside on snow. Shows how much he cares for the snakes

These pics were posted on facebook that a customer recieved. I have no clue who the lady is that bought the snake but she has expressed privately her displeasure of such shipping methods.

Stumbled across the FB posts earlier today and came here after reading through those. You would think after the decidedly negative feedback on using such questionable shipping methods that it wouldn't be repeated and yet.. again? Seriously? :/

You would think someone that continually refers to the dollar value of his stock could perhaps afford standard shipping supplies...?

I have run across several pics on WOBP and some even said he was first to make. He should be banned from all sites like this and not aloud back. I know they can not stop him from viewing but maybe with a LOUD kick to the face he will understand that the community will not stand for the way he treats his animals.

Way to many people dont do research when they buy stuff. People see that he offers good deals ( has to for people to buy his stuff) and dont know what they are getting into.

If only it were that simple. For every one of his customers who have no clue about the drama he spawns; I think it'd be a safe bet that there's another customer who knows, yet simply doesn't care. Not everyone has any interest in the big picture. For some, they only care that they've yet to be screwed over. As long as it's not happening to them, it doesn't matter.

One need look no further than the Manny Frade thread to see that, despite being confronted with a myriad reasons to avoid the guy, people are still willing to support him and roll the dice. A great many people really couldn't care less about the 'community' aspect of this hobby. Their own ends are as far as they look. Some people only learn the hard way.

The guy's very clearly mentally ill and untreated (and seems to disdain such things). I wouldn't even bother trying to argue or reason with someone like that. You can't fix or change someone who has to desire to help themselves. All you can really do is warn people to stay away.

Tough read, as Clay said, paragraphs are our friend. The mental state of Tony has been clearly established, but I always wondered what can be done if you encounter an individual clearly neglecting their animals. I have dealt with some locals keeping their animals in sickening conditions. Has Anthony been reported? Can anything even be done? I'm assuming the dogs would be the first to go if there was a serious health problem as stated.
