That's what the BOI is for, looking at all sides of business transactions. However, if your buddy isn't interested in posting here on his satisfaction with the deal, it's not your place to do so.

That's what is sad about the reptile world. Every once in a while someone will deal with a bad guy and get a decent animal or go through a transaction that turns out okay, then even if it is the exception rather than the rule, people say stuff like that. They completly disregard that a seller is a thief, scumbag, poor business person, someone who missrepresents animals, or whatever bad guy catagory they are in, just because they got something out of it.

I completely agree. Yet, the BOI is here for people to post about the good and the bad so that others may make their own decisions about who is worth buying from. I've posted many times on what I see to be the long range destruction to the hobby and business of reptile keeping resulting from people who continue to do business with someone of poor ethics: it keeps them in business, and takes away opportunity for those who are trying to do things the right way. It's frustrating.

As for the threats and the police training, I simply can't imagine that we're dealing with anything other than someone possibly going through some sort of Security Guard training. I come from a family full of LEOs, and I've never heard of a department anywhere that accepts trainees under 21. Additionally, LEOs are required to have excellent written communication skills (including spelling) in order to produce accurate police reports, which of course are critical to prosecutors.

I agree that people should look at the "entire picture" and posting "good guy" reports even on acknowledged and admitted "bad guys" is worth doing. But third party reporting is not allowed and for good reason. Anyone can say anything when they don't have to put their own name to it.

Looking at things realistically, you've wasted the past nine months of your lif as well as the time and energy of your instructors.

You're not LEO material. You've successfully demonstrated that much right here with your inability to make sound judgements, your abusive tenor, and your physical threats. An agency that would be foolhardy enough to hire you on wouldn't be gaining an asset. Rather, they'd be assuming a liability.

At best, you'll be on the job for five years before you're either fired, forced to resign, or incarcerated.

Not only would he never get past the investigation process, he wouldnt even get past the medical exam. If I recall correctly, it was no fun, and quite embarrasing to be standing naked and next in line for the "3 H" checkup.....that is...heartbeat, hernia, and hemmroids. One look from the state doc and he'd slap Jacof all over with preparation h and tell him to wait until his testicles dropped.

I hope you keep up on looking into that threat. I have no doubt in my mind that any Law enforcement organization in the country would not let someone who already has that kind of punk attitude, even get past the initial interview, let alone hire someone like that.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not so sensitive or serious that every time someone hiding behind a keyboard talks smack, or makes threats, I get my shorts in a twist, cause that kind of stuff happens everyday. When it is someone who is, or may become a Police Officer, that is a different story. For someone to already have that 'bad cop" mentality at the age of 19, and already making threats "under color of authority" is sickening and a discrace to all the honorable, good LEO's everywhere.

I dont have information as to Sal's dealings or even personal information about him if thats what you desire. You seemed to have a real interest as to why he has not replied to this thread. I have NO desire to know just what does or does not motivate salito.

I certainly have my own ideas as to why he won't post here and most revolve around him having his ass handed to him soooooooo many times that he has learned he can't get away with his normal routine here.

If the person to whom you refer will not give you permission to post it here then I guess we'll just have to remain ignorant of his philanthropy.
