Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered from them before. I was considering putting in a wholesale order and can't find any info on them. Thanks.

Are they even still in business??

If you are talking about J.P.Pets out of Florida, then I ordered from them many years ago (like 8-9)....they sent all the animals I ordered, and I dont recall having any huge problems with the order.....
However, i tried several times after that initial order to place orders and they were always out of at least half of what they had listed OR what they had listed hadnt shown up yet and I would have to wait till Thursday or Friday to get my order shipped. Since i was ordering on a Monday to supply my store for the coming weekend that wasnt going to work for me......so i had to cancel my order(s) with them and go elsewhere....
I wouldnt say they were bad, as my experience with them was rather neutral......it just sucks to not be able to get stuff thats listed because they were constantly running out....

Just ordered from them

Hello. Saw your add. I just ordered a wholesale order from them. It arrived friday and was very good. Well packed and high quality animals. All pet store stuff, nothing high end but good none-the-less.

Do your research. I have read nothing but poor quality an malnurished animals from there site. They had a deceiving list Het spider and het pastels when questioned on it I was told list is not for me. Google there name

I have ordered from them. I had a good experience with them. It might be in what you order from them. I received some frogs and a wc ETB, all were healthy and currently doing fine.
This was about 4-6 months ago.

I ordered from them a few times back in 2006 and 2007, and I got animals that were extremely malnourished and that I had to nurse back to health before I could sell. I would stay far far away from them. If your going to buy wholesale animals save yourself the headaches and go with Ben Siegal..

i would avoid them, last year i ordered a dozen pastel balls and a few other things from them, could not use paypal because their credit card system was down,i sent them a certified check.when i received the order the snakes were not pastels,i immediately called them and they wanted to know what made me an expert that i could tell they weren't pastels.i shipped everything back to them that same morning, talked with them about sending the check back to me.i waited 2 weeks and no check, they did eventually cash it.i ended up getting some animals to replace the originals after i told them i was going to the daytona show and could definitly stop by and have them square up with me.they also hat het pastels and het spiders on their availability list.I ,needless to say,can not recommend you to trust them in any way, just my opinion.

Gary, Sorry for the problem. I work for JP PETS now and dealt with this issue If I remember correctly. However please allow me to correct some facts. We sent the order COD. You paid USPS and the same day, called us to tell us the balls we sent were not pastels. We offered you a full refund we just needed you to send the animals back. We informed you that as soon as USPS sent the check to us we would immediately send it back to you...Sometimes the post office sends it back the same day. Sometimes they stick it in a drawer and it isn't sent back for weeks. Yours took about 2 weeks to come back to us. In the meantime you understandably, grew in patient. You agreed for us to send you new animals in lieu of the check so you didn't have to wait any longer.. We did that. We then received the check and cashed it because you had new animals as replacement for the disputed pastels.. As far as stopping by our shop feel free to do so any time you would like. We would gladly have you for a visit and will even buy lunch

Robert, most of that was spot on until it got to the point where i agreed to receive the replacement animals, the only reason i agreed to that was because the check was cashed when you said that it would be returned.Either way,the deal is completed and thats water under the bridge.i just wanted the share my experience .

Robert, there is another post on Fauna about J P Pets where you say that you've worked for them since Sept. of 2011,you couldn't have handled my situation because mine was in July of 2011.I guess that might explain your confusion over our dealings.

Maybe they have a new owner or things have changed, I didnt get double charged, packing was fine, everything went well except the most important part, sub-quality animals. It's a wholesaler not a breeder so I guess you cant expect the best
