So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good choice on not purchasing from CRE...you might be buying non-venomous snakes, but your money would be contributing to their ongoing venomoid butchering of venomoid snakes...Anyone who cares about animals in general would stay FAR, FAR away from Carolina Reptile Exchange.
 
those poor poor snakes :( although they aren't cuddly enough, that job on that snake was horrid ROFLAMO isn't that cruelty to animals?
 
i live 15 minutes from their store

it is dirty,underkept I would never buy anything from that store from what i also heard the guy bruce was selling fake het pieds and got busted for it,also i heard that he sells ususpecting people venemoids when they think they are buying venemous
 
This is some of CRE's handywork...it's rather obvious what the cause of death can be attributed to.

I should mention that it has been observed by people who do extensive veterinary work with venomous snakes that this does NOT appear to be the work of a vet...the type of sutures, incision, and the final outcome all spell H--A-C-K J-O-B.

Yea, I wouldn't waste a wjole lot of time reading every little detail about them, it's pretty freaking obvious. However, I wouldn't right it all off as "drama" either. It's the truth, the whole truth, so help THEM God.

The new LLC has me :uzi: Does everyone know what that means??? Can you say, Limited LIABILTY Cooperation. Hmmm....now why would they be so concerned about their LIABILTY status???? They SUCK, period. Then again, KS still has them as a legit account holder, so they have the right to post up whatever they want, whenever they want. "Why is that", you ask?? Simple, every single person that has walked into their sh**hole store needs to contact the proper authorities, EVERYONE burnt over at KS NEEDS to file a complaint...three strikes and they're out policy...what's wrong with this picture???

With that said, we as hobbiest and collectors are to blame...newbies, be afraid - be very afraid. Until we as a community REFUSE to allow dirt peddlers like this continue to do business among us, we're every bit as guilty..."what can we do about it??" Well, let me think...BOMBARD any ads you see posted by them with concerns regarding their existence in this wonderful hobby, don't just "skip" over them because we assume everyone already knows. CONTINUE to BUMP any/all threads here at Fauna on these JO's any and everytime you see an ad posted, anywhere. CALL them out. VISIT their place of business and witness for yourself - then do the right thing. TAKE TURNS as hobbiest and avid "forum users" to post comments regarding SCRE LLC, I know they'll get pu;;ed, but someone will see them, and as long as we "take turns posting" say one per month per user - times 1,000 only the extremists would have to worry about a "warning" or an acct. termination :hehe:

Actually it is Limited Liability Company

That way their liability will be Limited when one of the snakes they butcher turns out to still be hot.

Attached you will see a fake receipt hce inc. Harry's company formed after he died. The receipt was also acquired after he was already dead. (Thanks to Bruce of course)

Of course all the Bruce lovers out there will say that none of the above matters.

I wonder what would happen when the right people "authorities" are informed of bruces past conviction in regards to animals? I bet he loses his business.
Oh yeah....it is probably not in his name. it is progbably in the name of one of his imaginary people. Perhaps it is in his dead father's name. Who knows.
Think of the lowest possible outcome....... That is probably the real explanation.

As to the LLC. With these folks track record, it would not surprise me if they are not registered as an LLC in the state of NC. And if they are, it would not surprise me that their Operating Agreement and other corporate documents are not in accordance with NC statutes. And if by some chance they are, it would not surprise me if they have violated, and will continue to violate, those agreements. I think it highly likely that should someone have cause to sue these folks, that while you could sue the LLC, any decent attorney would also find multiple opportunities to "pierce the coorporate veil" and go after the individuals and their personal assets. Maintaining corporate integrity means playing by the rules, and IMHO their track record would seem to indicate that is an impossibility with CRE, LLC.

You will not fin the above rules on any respectable breeder.

And even if they are operating completely within the law from the perspective of maintaining their LLC, no corporate-type protection exists to cover an individual's behavior. Example - if an "employee" of an LLC or a corporation intentionally and willfully commits fraud and/or is negligent while performing said duties, that person (along with the entity) is liable for his or her actions. The protection extends to to other members of the LLC but not to the individual who did the "bad deed". For instance, a physician who is employed by a professional corporation or by a limited liability company. If that physician is negligent, he or she can be sued personally, along with the entity, but the other partners/members are protected.
 
Bruce actually had the nerve to show up at the Colombia SC Show this weekend. While he is banned from being a vendor, he came as a buyer. Fortunately, there were only one or two dealers that would even sell to him. But he still managed to pick up a couple venomous (at least venomous for now). Most of us that are Venomous Snake Escorts refused to carry his animals. It got quite heated between a vendor that sold him a cobra and another vendor who knows Bruce. The fact that virtually every vendor at an expo refuses to even sell him anything should be a big indicator of the type of person he is.

I will give him one thing, it took a set of brass ones to even show up at the expo, much less wearing his Carolina Reptile Exchange shirt.
