    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would just like to go on record to say I agree on both points. The Brooklyn law on Ball pythons is ridiculous too. (I don't remember if that was brought up here or on the other thread) I, also, don't agree with the I don't I agree with the law so I'll just ignore it attitude either. That just gives all herpers a bad name. I usually don't bother to post on threads in the BOI unless I feel strongly about something. The reason I posted on the Artie and Laura threads is because I hate bullies. People who think they should be able to get by by threats and intimidation always make me mad. My problem with Barbara is the I'm smarter and know more than you so just shut up attitude.( Sorry that was off topic) It's after 5, were's Artie?

I couldn't have said it better myself....that's what an inquiry with the "?" is about!! To find fellow members who have done business with a seller!!! People asking for info on whether Laurie/Artie is good to do business with. I answered with my personal knowledge & got attacked for it.

Jeff....funny,...I never said anything other than facts...if you took what I had to say personally BEFORE you got involved, that's your problem. For a discription of my attitude, that's quite a lot of words you're putting in my mouth. But I will tell you, when people come for my friends & vendors I've had good transactions with, I have a problem.

The laws in NY (under which Artie got in trouble) are absolutely ridiculous. Think we all agree there. Petty fighting like this drives the community apart. While we bicker about this, we get weaker as a whole & in that time, congress will continue to pass these ignorant reptile laws/bans. Before you know it, we won't be able to own anything but pet rocks! But then again, they'll be considered dangerous too. :no01: <-- I apologize for this paragraph

We have "Herps in the News" section on this site where articles all over the world are posted when it involves our community. Much like every news story of good or bad publicity is re-posted all over the net.

One member posted the news article (much like many members do) about Artie pleading guilty. Like the case are not it is a published story involving this community.

How did Laura respond? By sending profanity laced private messages to the poster of the news story.

Then went on some tirade about hoping someone posts the users address. Just like she did to several other people in these two threads.

Some reason she has some fixation on peoples home addresses evident by this bogus thread they started and commenting on Harald others addresses.

The thread in the beginning was in fact gathering mode to determine who was using what account? That is a legitimate inquiry.

Their reaction was to start a thread threatening a lawsuit and targeting others that brought up Artie's arrest.

So the name thing wasn't a big deal or someone trying to hide their identity.
The thread could have been short and sweet and ran its course fast. The rules explained and just dealt with.

Instead, they participated in this becoming what it is including their messages to the administrator and moderators.

So you bought a snake and it didn't die, Cool they did what they were suppose to do in a transaction.

At the same time they act like assess sending profanity laced threatening messages to members, starting bogus threads on individuals because they don't like what they posted.

It all seems relevant to me about dealing with them. Particular if something goes wrong.

So all this behavior is all right with you? And it's perfectly all right for James to call someones job and try to get them fired for calling him a name on a forum? That's perfectly fine, mature, adult behavior? And yes you didn't say the exact words in my post, but your "educated" comment in your post implied that the rest of us weren't and you said people without personal dealings with them shouldn't post, thus the shut up. My continuing to draw the conclusions I have, I think is perfectly reasonable. You ignoring your friend's behavior in this post and the other one is not.

my wife used her account to post our animals for sale it wasnt to decieve she does

comp stuff it wasnt to hide anything she joine in 08 my arrest was in 2012

our point with rob is he does the same thing so why call us out ?

i never made threats i invited him to the gym to settle our dispute like men

i herd he was a big ball breeder but reality is he has none ,and ran to the police, o yea

did nothing as no laws are broken

bill k is just a liar from jump about all details of our rack sale

hh more is the real person who made this thread go here he changes hats from mod to

member fater than anything ive seen and he imo is the direct reason this thread got out of

Just because I agree with the mods doesn't mean that I'm kissing up to them. As I mentioned earlier, I am a mod on another site, and I deal with people just like you on a daily basis. My sympathy for them is based solely on my own experiences. I've received infractions before on this site, and they were deserved. I choose not to let them bias me against people who are just doing their jobs.

It's funny that you say I am taking part in muddying up the reputations of Artie and James. All I have done is condemned them for their behavior in this thread. I didn't force Artie to start threatening or insulting people, nor did I have any part in James deciding to stalk and harass a member here for suspecting he was a sock puppet account.

In other words, I have only freely shared my opinion of their (and your behavior) in this thread. My opinion alone does not have the power to ruin anyone's reputation (but I'm flattered that you think it does).

You might also want to look up the definition of slander before you start calling yourself classy and educated. ;)

Again an accusation with no proof and the real reason for you vendetta. You Think he didn't save the threats you made against him to show the police? Where your proof about him having no Ball python? Who's snakes is he actually selling? You said before that he part owns them, even if he didn't have them in his possession, aren't they still his to sell? (I doubt this is true anyway) Just keep threatening and accussing. It will catch up to you in more ways than one. I know no one who has read this will deal with you, except maybe Barbara and James.
 
Right have not bought from the two of you. I got involved because you bullied Rob, who I've dealt with and like. I hate bullies. The point you fail to realize is that I'm just expressing what I think about what I've observed. Do you think I'm the only one? Take a look at how many hits this thread has gotten. How many people who have read this do you think will want to deal with you in the future? Or are you two getting out of the business and don't care?

Artie, I am sorry for posting your name and your arrest. I had nothing to do with you getting arrested nor did I provide any information to any law enforcement agency concerning the Burmese pythons. While I don’t condone owning illegal animals, I would never rat out a fellow herper regardless if it were Burmese pythons, alligators, or something as dangerous as hots.

This is what Rob posted on the subject in the other thread. Can you read? And again what about th threats? Congrats on the sale, het pied, big money!! Hope the buyer has their "het" prove out!

Really? According to your account record here, you have had exactly one (1) infraction since you registered here. And that one (1) was back on 01-12-2011.

So, no, there are no infractions, as you claim.

Are you just misinformed or outright lying about that?

So what is your game here, lady? I'm beginning to get aggravated by a small group of people involved in this thread, and I'm leaning towards thinking that this site will be a whole lot better off if I just cut my losses and ban the whole lot of you and be done with it.

This site doesn't need the crap you are trying to shovel, so either shape up or be shipped out. And I mean this in the most sincerest and friendly manner I can muster.
