    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Probably just more vague threats about 'knowing people in high places' or being a big shot in some way that was pulled on me.

Lying about what?? I said I'm on thin ice as in getting close to receiving infractions! Never said I had any. I don't want to keep going off topic & receive an infraction
 
so, why is burmbreeder5 (laura/artie) not banned permanently? I am interested in buying ackies from her/his ad here on fauna, but not after reading this thread. It's rather shocking that Laura/artie is not only a criminal, he/she is making outright threats here. So what is going on? I have mixed messages about faunaclassifieds allowing this person to advertise. I assume there is a stringent standard of trust and dignity here, so are these folks legit or what?
 
Laura and Artie are two different people. You've been around long enough to know that we don't ban people because of BOI feedback. We ban people for violations of the rules for posting. Both of them received infractions; both of them were banned...those bans have expired. Does that mean you should or should not buy from them??
Your choice. If any seller on this (or any) site is offering something that is of interest to you, we suggest that you research them and make an informed decision based on what you find.
