    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have two animals posted at Reptibid I'd love for you to bid on. Just pick a name you'd like me to bid under and the sky's the limit lol! IMHO what I think you're really doing is trying to justify the fact that you got ripped and it's okay. In my bid for the Sanzinia I was bid against by boidsrus so I'm in the same boat. I'm not unhappy about the price I paid but the way I look at it is it should have been less. It is out and out unethical fraudulant activity and there are laws against this.
 
So at this time I dont feel you have done much wrong with the bids however I do not know much about the picture deal and id rather not get involved either.

I am not trying to justify drew at all, all im saying is as a consumer I take it upon myself to bid and place a proxy. I by placing a bid am saying I am willing to pay x for this item. The proxy is basically saying I am willing to go up to this dollar without loosing top bid on this item. All im saying is he has no control over making you bid you are the one that takes the responsibility to put in how much you are willing to pay if it goes over or you cant afford it dont bid anymore he is not forcing you to pay anymore than what you put in the system. Im not picking a fight and I really dont like to be quoted, use your own words and dont try to play off of mine and twist what im saying. I love this site but all I am subjecting is my opinion. If you dont like my opinion than that is fine. Have a nice night everyone!

He not only committed fraud but also violated a federal law. As a seller you have legal obligations, and I quote:

Drew committed a federal crime punishable by law. He misrepresented a snake he did not have for sale, placed shill bids on his animals, and posted the wrong genetics in several of his animals, and placed false testimonials about himself. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Drew is not a "naughty boy", he violated a federal law. Is there any reason why we still don't know his exact address?

yes you put a proxy bid meaning you are willing to pay a certain amount.


Let's say you went to a store where you can basically chose how much you pay for stuff.

lets say you had X amount in your pocket.
you told the seller you are willing to pay 5.
While in actuallity you are willing to pay Y + 5=X

Basically the seller said yes to your 5 and while you were not looking took the Y out of your pockets and picked your pockets.

Please, we all know bidding and how your emotion can sometime get a hold of you when really want the item. Let say you bidding 300 dollars on the Hypo, then Drew comes around and artificially pumps the price up so he will not have to settle for some low price. Sure hypos go for around 500 plus, but I’m AFRAID THAT ALL YOU MAY HAVE IS A HYPO PERIOD.

I like you Flyride and I don’t want to see you get ripped off. I’m not saying you really got ripped off but you may have gotten that animal cheaper if it wasn’t for Drew’s little push. The ball is in your court, so play ball. If you’re happy then so be it, but if no one comes forward and say something to discourage this activity, then this site and others like it have and will fail us. Here a little saying “IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME”.

I knew Drew would get caught eventually. A few weeks ago in the Q&A in Reptibid I asked Drew how a regular albino could be het for Ghost. I thought it was either a mistake or a scam. NOW WE ALL KNOW.

You have been ripping people off for months now.

My question is, why isn't Reptibid doing anything about it?
 
I went to Reptibid and checked out the ad I was reffering to in my previous post. Guess who won the Albino Het Ghost...

No worries, They are a free service so they may be under different rules but Fraud is fraud. If they don't do anything about it they will ruin there plans for that site, of course they plan to charge eventually. I grant you this much, if they do nothing about it they will be very sorry they didn't.

They need to block all his ip addresses and work with his internet provider, AOL time warner.

We will see how this unfolds

It is unfair that anyone who lives in the Pinellas Park-St. Petersburg area (zc 33781) has to be now under scrutiny because of this individual.

Sunshinereptiles started bidding for the first time in Reptibid on Saturday, March 20. So far he has posted 5 times, three bids on three Herpcorner snakes, and two animals for sale.

You may be fine with what happened to you, that's your choice, but the fact remains he stole money from you.
It is irrelevant how much you were willing to pay for the snake, what matters is why you paid the amount you did.

The bid history posted by Tony is a great example. Sgtsandy won that snake for $210. He and Boidsrus (Drew) were the only people involved with the bidding for most of the auction. The last bid Sgtsandy placed before Drew started running it up was $100.

Was Sgtsandy willing to pay $210 for the snake? Obviously he was, but the fact is Drew stole $110 from him by running the bid up. Sgtsandy had no reason whatsoever to HAVE to pay $210. Nobody but him actually wanted to pay more than $100 for it.
Drew takes the risk of selling too low by starting the bidding at $1 with no reserve, that's completely his responsibility and his gamble to take. Sgtsandy should have rightfully won that snake for $100 period, but rather than accept his foolishness of not using a reserve, Drew instead stole an extra $110 from him. There is no other word to use except blantant theft.
If the bid history on your auction resembles what Tony posted, then he stole from you whether you want to admit it or not.

Drew apparently has no grasp of buisness ethics at all. He wants it all. Attract the bidders with a low starting bid and no reserve, then milk them for everything he can before the auction closes. It just doesn't work that way.
It amazes me that he is apparently an adult and actually sees nothing wrong with this activity.
