From left to right, two crested geckos, two gargoyles, and a single leachianus in each the other two (one is out of the photo). All of these geckos looked plump and extremely healthy.
The cage holding the crested geckos was getting a quick clean (notice the lack of lock), so some of the decor was dismantled.
Water dish! WATER DISH!
Ok, I think that's all of the photos I got worth sharing. Matt mostly took photos of the store itself because I was taking photos of the reptiles. I think he has a few more he is going to share but... other than that, I hope we helped dismantle the theory this store was in shambles and all of the reptiles were sickly or dying.
On a side note: Let's pretend these reptiles were in poor condition, which I do not believe one bit, how would they have recovered in three weeks? Oh, I'm sure certain someone will have an excuse or something to explain it... but let your eyes be the judge. I firmly believe this store has the animal's best interests in mind and has learned from this experience.
Finally, I am very disappointed such a big deal was made out of one photo (aside from the obvious and legitimate concerns regarding the collared itself,
which has been addressed) and so many accusations were made without any proof. So much hearsay and he said she said... but I do understand, there are a lot of cruddy people out there. I stand behind my opinion when I say the store overall is much, MUCH better than some have made it out to be.
But seriously... one photo? This is the part that blows me away.
