    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dear Steven,
The first thing I'de like to say is that Matt and I have cleared this up in private as should have been done in the beginning and this has been taken care of.
Secondly, after what I did for Matt and reading on this WW forum
that he stated that I am a liar that definitely pissed me off and no matter how nice of a guy you are sometimes things get so bad that we "nice guys" also step out of line.
I don't feel the need to clear this up with you as I already made my peace with Matt and I'm sure (given your warning level and knowing something about "huge glaring red flags") if you had the same thing said about you, you wouldn't have taken it lightly.

first off if i known poasting pictures of my new geckos was going to cause this much trouble between us all i would have never done it i am really sorry to everyone involved(Alberto and Matt) it was never imagined that it would go down like this Alberto has every right to be mad at both me and matt and we have resolved it with alberto I just want to say for the record that i never called anyone a liar and i believe tat anyone has the right to change thier mind matt your geckos are nicer and that is because you paid more i am more than satisfied with what i have and i will be very interested in what both our groups produce so matt if you would keep me informed i would like that and i will do the same if you would like i dont know if i am going to sell very many yet or not but i will entertain any offers when the time comes well thaks for listening

No Alberto, I think you had every right to be upset and to state that fact. I am not saying showing annoyance makes you a bad guy.

The one thing that I said set off red flags for me is your statement that Matt was incapable of taking pictures of your geckos that look as nice as when you take pictures of your geckos.

Seeing as you are often accused of enhancing your pictures, I think it would have been much wiser not to criticize someone elses pictures of your animals when they are in possession of the animals and can tell everyone exactly how accurate or inaccurate their pictures are in comparison to the ones you use to sell your animals.
 
I've only bought a couple of leos from Alberto, but they are MUCH nicer in person than the photos depicted.
 
who has accused Alberto of enhancng his pictures i for one have seen Ruby in person and her pictures do her no justice at all every animal i have gotten from him look better than the pictures he has sent me so i for one would like to know who is making the false acusations(sp) but even Matt himself said he couldnt take acurate picures to represent the animals so why is what Alberto said setting off big red flags well anyway we really need to stop arguing over this all here check out the pics i have taken to the ones i was sent

i cant get the link to work with my site so here this is the one i took
Alberto took the 1st one i made the mistake of taking them in direct sunlight and it washed them out a little they look so much better in person

Alberto is one of the best

Nothing can chnage my mind about that, i've seen nice geckos befor..buy my god his are mindblowing in the pics he takes and in person..he let me hold Ruby, one of his breeders..and i was completely speechless, Alberto in no way enhances his photos

some cameras are better than others, matts cam may not be the best, my cam sometimes gets the right lighting and takes a few good pics..but we really cant judge anyone by the pics they take..c'mon guys, mats geckos are beautiful, as are billys
 
I'm not accusing Alberto. I am stating that he has been accused. Anyone that has been active in the online leo community remembers about a year or two ago there was a huge argument on KS where many people were accusing Alberto of enhancing his pictures either through digital manipulation or lighting and others were simply saying (including himself I believe) that he didn't know how to take good pictures.

The same argument comes up every now and then over his specific pictures. I really don't think he has any right to accuse one of his customers of taking bad pictures when it only adds to the stigma of Alberto's pictures.

I've seen Alberto's animals in person on many occassions at his table at the White Plains Expo and I also have spoken with many people that own his animals.
My opinion is that the animals he sells are as good as any of the high end animals that Ron Tremper produces.
 
I think this is an. . . .

. . . unproductive whizzing contest in which no one will win - and a lot of people will get mad. My counsel is - stop right now. This is getting KS-ish and it's starting to make my colon get knotted up.

So anyway - How about those Vikings? I think they are going to go all the way this year . . . .

now while alberto and i are not friends and we agree to disagree or something like that... i (normally) do not read his post, nor repsonde, read his ads or even go to his website . only reason i am reading and replying to this one is because it was brought to my attention.

now matt while he may or may have not lied to you who knows? really if he dedided he wanted those stripers so be it and release what ya got to get it.......

however he has lied to me and others and i have even way back when asked him to explain or rectify (lets not say lie just not the whole truth) this is why i feel as i do about him but generally if he respondes to a thread of mine or one i am posting in he is quite pleasant and civil.

i have also seen animals produced by him nice animals yes but i have also seen offspring by those animals produced by others... quite a difference i must say... still nice animals but no neon glowing red lines blah blah blah...... was i one of the people whom thought his photots looked altered either by a program or lighting yes....
but i have since come to the conclusion... i really do not care because i do not and will not buy from him.
i have seen him make tounge in cheek remarks about others geckos (sarcastically? or having a blatant ego?) so in all this is just my rants and words...
i have seen him use other breeders animals to breed and coin them his line? is that right? to me no... a line is created from scratch by doing the hard part..... give credit where credit is due ... whether it be ray hine albey urban gecko ron tremper ect.


i will not go on anymore nor will i reply these are my feelings and take them for what they are worth .... but take a good look at the whole picture

he said one thing he emailed me we talked he admited to what we were taking about i asked him to please explain it and rectify it on the KS forum and he said he would not.....

We'll see Monte. But your right, the bucs are gonna suck, either that or they will win 13 games. Hard to tell at this point....lol. Still anxious to see some them play, hopefully I will have the same excitement halfway through the season...it all depends on their success....lol.

And oh yea, the vikes only win 6 games this year....

And the pats make the playoffs but lose in the first round.....:D
