Fine work, Sam.
Did this deal originate on Fauna? Just curious.
I've noticed that you posted this same question on a lot of boi threads. Not sure why it matters. I would guess that more scams start on facebook, but those people don't all know about this website to post. So you may see more that were deals from fauna because those people are more likely to come here to post a bad guy thread. This website helps people research who and who not to buy from. But I see bad guy threads daily on facebook, too.
I just wanted to post an update that I have gotten just about all of the mites under control as of now so I'll continue to treat them to be sure all eggs are gone and they'll be sure to have preventative steps taken to ensure they never get mites again. They have both also gotten much better with the respiratory infections. I have gotten their breathing almost silent. No more wheezing. Amazing what proper care can do.
I'm glad to hear they're both doing great. Thanks for the heads up on this guy.
Just an update to those who followed this thread... the retics are doing great now and the mites and respiratory infections are long gone at this point. Spent a few hundred dollars at my vet on URI treatments and testing but it was well worth it to see the recovery of these gorgeous snakes. Don Leydig is still most certainly someone to avoid when dealing with live animals.
Two beautiful rare reticulated pythons died due to his negligence . . .
I am the source. The retics mentioned were the ones from Don Leydig that died shortly after getting them from him. They've been dead for two years. LolAfter reading this thread, I don't doubt that for a minute, but can you post the source of that info? I'm not defending Don at all, but the BOI asks for proof of statements made.
Thank you![]()
