Miss Tuniwha
The weird one
Well. I had a rough day. Not in comparison to others, but for me.. rough.
got up at 3.30 am.. went out to a field with a friend and watched the deer roam until about 5.30.
a nice start (minus the mosquitoes)
then from 6am to 2.30 (minus an hour for lunch) I helped her weed her garden.
Finally got to go home.. super sore and tired.
now the fun starts. *insert sarcasm here*
I have a Cane Corso, (112#) and a Staffordshire Terrier (45#)
Hubby gave them the wrong treats (my fault for forgetting to get rid of them)
they are allergic to them, and they had HORRIBLE diarrhea ALLLlllll over.. I mean like.. Horror movie graphic. They were in their kennel.. and it filled the tray, was on the walls the floor.. all over THEM.. just horrid.
So. I chained them up outside, bathed them, washed the kennel.. clean the room.. (carpeted) ugh..
I then go upstairs to do my "animal" check..
Apollo.. one of my Quakers.. is dead on the bottom of his cage. I have had him for 7 years now. He is a clutch mate to my other one (Artemis)
He was 8 years old. Was acting normal as of last night. (ie eating, drinking, biting, laughing, etc)
We will be getting a Necropsy done, as I do have 2 other birds.
He may have been my "evil satan quaker", but I loved him. He was mean as hell, but HILARIOUS. He would talk and talk and mimic everything.. I have sinus issues, and he would mock sneeze and sniffle right after me.
he would say "kissy kissy" and "Gimme a kiss, I LOooooOOOVE YOOUUuu" then, the first chance he got, would bit, and say "OOOOUWWWW" then laugh!!
mommas little
head. lol
I DID accidentally teach him the phrase "ouch, don't bite you little f****r"
anywho.. Just wanted to.. vent I guess. (and thanks Aaron, and John for listening to me whine about it earlier)
(Apollo on the left, his sister, Artemis on the right)
