Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If it's such a miniscule amount of money...and SO not worth your time to waste worrying about it...then why not just pay her and be done with it? The only reason there's been "no solution" after all this time is because you have yet to follow through on the extremely simple task of paying her what she's owed. All the talk about adding extra cash to the pot because of the amount of time its taken to pay her the original amount is ridiculous. Promises won't buy groceries. $120 will.

And this assumption is just flat out wrong. I've seen plenty of threads where the original poster gets reemed. Sometimes justly so...and sometimes not. But it happens even so. In the end...it has nothing to do with who posts first....it has everyting to do with how each person conducts themselves within the thread and how willing they are to be transparent and honest about the issue at hand.
 
Observation of a Lurker

As an unbiased observer (a lurker) who doesn't know even one person that posts here I would like to pose a question. If this long running thread hasn't hurt the reputation of Charles Schuck III, why then does CSReptiles sell toasters instead of reptiles? :shootfoot

You are the one that wrote the check on a closed account.
What it shows is that anyone that has ever given you the benefit of the doubt and allowed you to receive animals first has paid the price.

In the first case in this thread you never sent animals or funds for months after you received your part of the deal. In this case, you received animals and wrote a check on a closed account. You can't be trusted. That's all anyone needs to know.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt time and time again. You ignored me anyway, so I had no choice but to warn others. You have NO RIGHT to punish me as a result of your stupidity! If it's such a small amount of money, then PAY ME ALREADY!!! You owe me and it's ridiculous to try to rationalize it - first by saying you'll pay me even more (which I don't want - I just want what's owed) and now by saying that it's such a small amount that it shouldn't matter.

Come to one of the MN Herp Society meetings and see how many people know you there and won't deal with you... and they all know people too... I am not spreading rumors or making anything up, just making sure people know my experience with you. I'm so sick of listening to your excuses... So am I. It was out of character. I don't curse in my communications online or my daily life. The post made by Matt was pure evil. I confronted the post with the first emotion I felt after reading it. Not the wisest of decisions but it was mine.
