    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The gecko's in the tubes standing up seems a little weird, but other than that I don't see a problem.
 
Jeff, pounding your chest and claiming the # of great deals you have had with top breeders or how many geckos you have purchased from a single person has little relevance to this thread. From my short time here, it's become quite obvious that the person doing the most chest thumping and praising their own status is also usually a complete tool. You're only reinforcing that my observations have been spot on.

As for the animals, please stop playing vet, act like an adult, and take the necessary measures to confirm your suspicions of illness. That may............WAIT FOR IT...............include going to an actual vet.

As for the way you addressed Peter via e-mail, I can't blame him for denying your request for compensation of any sort. He seemed to be willing to at least hear you out, and you just tore into him.
 
sorry but i have been raising leos for eight years and havent had issue like this and i didnt tare him up either proof is coming im finishing taking pics of the bad ones right now
And going to a vet for a $20 gecko isn't work a $400 vet bill. I have enough people here that have raised geckos that are breeders already look at them and they agree with me.

So your pets don't deserve a vet because they didn't cost much?
 
Those geckos look great and the packing looks good too. I like the milk bottle idea. Less room to get rustled around during shipping, rounded edges and no corners to jam little toes.
The rudeness and attempts at intimidation from the OP leads me to believe he is trying to get a little rebate that he certainly does not deserve (as someone else also suggested).
Unless the OP comes up with photographic PROOF of MBD, it would appear he is trying to rip off the seller...who, I might add, took him at his word (which says a lot about his kindness) and offered an early solution - MORE than once only to be called stupid.
If it were me...the OP would be pounding sand unless he came up with SOLID proof AND a public apology!

You know, that speaks volumes about the kind of person you are and how much you actually CARE about your animals. I'd never buy from you, even if you are proven right with this issue.

So by that logic, are we wrong to think that if you're low on cash and short on feeders, the $20 geckos in your collection aren't worth feeding?:shrug01:

Well, who are the breeders? Why aren't you posting pictures? Are you a vet with a degree? You need to show evidence if you expect people to believe you.
 
This is probably not going to be seen as pertinent to the thread, but why does someone who has so much experience been raising leopard geckos for 8 years buy 40 $10 geckos?
Also, do you think that you are going to be able to save the geckos that you are talking about, or that they are beyond help? I can see not spending $400 dollars at a vet if you feel that they are doomed to die anyway, but why are you allowing them to suffer?
If your vet diagnoses the problems you see, I don't think it should be you paying the $400 anyway. ($400 seems high though, unless the vet is going to replace a skeleton or missing toes.)
 
im trying to get the geckos all in their seperate containers and sorry i have a life beyond my geckos too. If you want to know the breeders that i have bought from are Ron Tremper, Granite State Reptile, Designer Geckos, Gecko Babies, Hiss, Frilled Reptiles, GCS Reptiles and many more. I have taken some pics but going to post the ones with the problems all at once. And no im not a vet i have been talking with some of my breeders and thats what they said the geckos have. And I think most people on here would not take a $20 gecko to the vet for a $400 bill.
 
I would. I'm sorry but your story doesn't add up. Who are the other breeders you have talked too? Have you sent them pictures? Why were you buying so many low dollar geckos with 8 years experience?
 
Not all of them are low dollar geckos either just some he posted a few for sale on here and then said he had more if i was wanting and i said sure. I just posted the breeders who i have dealt with and no i havent sent pictures to anyone (I have mainly talked this over with Adam at Granite State Reptile which i have done tons of business with this year after finding him and he knows when im telling the truth or not- so ask him) Also i bought some of less expensive ones cause they sell good at shows. So i could have higher end ones and lesser expensive ones. It makes sense and I have seen many breeders do this at shows that I have been too.

You are still here now! Post some pics. I call :icon_bs: on this whole thing. Pud, you even attacked someone else ("Reptilebaby you don't know anything")....as others have said, this thread is backfiring on you so far. I wouldn't sell anything to you, based on what I've seen so far.
 
good ban me of this crap forum im tired of dealing with u all. I have plenty of people that i can get good quality geckos from that i don't have to worry about. And trust me i wouldn't sell nothing to anybody backstabbing me either. Just put it he wins and I will go on my way still doing what i know whats right and not listening to u guys.
