    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Perhaps if you had taken a few of them into the vet since you thought they were on deaths door. The vet would have confirmed these are healthy little youngins, and you may have avoided this whole thread. You also would have avoided looking like an arse and being put on I'm sure a few peoples dnbf and dnst lists.
 
well calling my buddy Adam he which has many years of experience said it pretty much sounds like their is bone issues and they didn't get enough calcium. Thats why i didnt take them to the vet and also the big price. I trust Adam and he has never told me wrong..

But Adam hasn't seen them in person, right? The only person who's seen the weakness is you. Is there any way you could take a short video of one of the afflicted hatchlings walking? Most phone cameras can record for a short time and your digital camera may have a video setting as well. Better pictures can help your case as well. I'm trying to help you here. If you really, truly received sickly animals then yelling "I give up! This site sucks!" just makes you look like a buyer who cannot be satisfied and leaves the seller looking like a victim. If you want people to take your side, you'll have to post proof.
 
Sure! I get that you trusted your friends advice. But a diagnosis is a really hard thing to accurately do over the phone. Im sure he knows what he's doing and all. But he didn't see them, and in all reality that was just a guess he gave you. And then you started a BG thread here because of a unsubstantiated guess. I'm not trying to be harsh. Sorry if
I come across that way. But people do make decisions on whom to buy from and not to based on maybe 3 minutes of reading. You next move after you spoke with your friend should have been to a vet to get the actual diagnosis.

My phone or camera doesnt take videos well at all. I really dont care what happens whatever people think. I have always backed up my animals that i have sold and never have had one issue in many sales that i have done.

So what are you going to do with the ones that you feel have problems? Put them down? Sell them?

Name names.

"Enough people", "other people", "top breeders", "top people" -- typically, when people say these things? They mean "no one else has said a thing, but it makes me sound better".

If you really have transactions with top breeders, tell us who they are. If you really have pros in the field saying "these animals have MDB", tell us who's saying so. A statement from a well respected breeder would go a long way in firming up your case, I'd think.

And these big names you list are the ones that have agreed with you that this shipment is full of MDB?

I've taken FREE animals to the vet for huge bills. Because they're living beings and don't deserve to suffer. Even if the only thing for them is a quick, humane death instead of a slow, drawn out one.

It's pretty much impossible to diagnose MDB over the phone. A "years of experience" breeder said something like that without having ever seen a PHOTO?

And you really think the animals you posted photos of are going to DIE? If you're losing animals that look like that with regularity, you're doing something wrong with *your* care.

THIS is a leopard with serious MDB.

I can't tell much from the photos. A couple of them look as if they MIGHT have slight mbd (looking at the way the elbows/knees look) but the photos are so washed out that it's really hard to say. They certainly don't look to be near death at all.

You threw friends and previously bought from vendors under the bus by putting their names in what so far seems to be a baseless thread that lacks proof of your allegations. Future searches of their names will bring readers to this thread.

You trivialize the many good sellers who do take the time and money to take sick critters to the vet.

Pud, you are an angry person. Please don't ever contact me again regarding anything.
Also, please take a remedial English class. I would say you are writing on a 2nd grade level. I am not writing about your spelling / grammar to be nasty: I have four sons aged 8 and younger and I would guess, based on the stuff I see every day written in crayon at my house, that you are on a 2nd grade level. You will be seriously restricted in your life based upon your poor ability to communicate.
 
:iagree: with Nick on that... i was intrigued that the seller offered to make you happy so soon without any proof of the issues you are claiming...

and even so, if you took them to the vet and HAD proof... maybe the seller would be willing to help fund the bill... I have read PLENTY of BOI threads in which the seller helps pay for the vet bill if indeed they are sick/deformed/unhealthy animals... and if you took more than one animal to the vet, maybe you can get a "bulk animal" discount... i have personally never had to take any of our animals to the vet (other than cats for shots/check ups) so I really don't know if the "bulk discount" is an option but either way...

Coming on here claiming "he sold me sick animals but im too lazy to post proof but i can update them on my website which probably takes way longer to do anyway" is a load of BS. We don't PERSONALLY attack you for saying you had a bad experience... we just want the proof so that we can make an informed decision of the situation... how would YOU feel if you felt you packed the animals properly and they were in great condition but the buyer says "you sent me sick animals that are dying" but didnt have proof... you might be defensive too.. but the seller has been MORE than professional and polite with this and if I was into geckos he would be on my list of people to work with.. he seems like a stand up guy from this thread....

And for the OPs language/grammer/spelling issues, My daughter is going into second grade and she spells and speaks better than that... just saying... even though I know it has nothing to do with the post.. i did get a chuckle about the crayon remark :D

I don't believe I've ever talked to you, but if you don't think cheap animals are worth taking to a vet, then please don't ever contact me to buy geckos. I agree with everyone on here. Not only do the geckos look fine (hard to tell 100% with those pics), but your attitude was horrible. What you say and how you act will affect your business. Next time you're angry, take a step back, think about it, and then post like an adult. Good luck with your geckos. I think some of them might be babies from the geckos Peter bought from me. :( I really hope you'll take care of them.

There is no het for mack. Maybe he was a mack het eclipse? I can't remember who the parents were, so I'm not sure if that was possible. Did his babies hatch out black and white? What was he bred to?
