Which, IMHO makes them even more suspect. Why would a "legitimate" business as they keep trying to claim, hide information on past bids, delete negative comments and force people to join to simply VIEW the auctions?

It sounds like they want everything on the down low so that they are conveniently never in the position of explaining any hanky panky. And it looks like their past auctions had a bunch of hanky panky.

I think that one might have a better chance of getting a critter by flushing dollar bills down the toilet. If it clogs, maybe the plumber will be a herper with an extra snake.

I wish to direct everyone that reviews this thread to a legitimate Link that shows a chronological order of events that has transpired since the inception of Ballbids.com. Not personally liking Ballbids.com as a business model, or not liking its owner for that matter, is one thing. But this type of illegal and illicit actions from certain people purported to be in, and speaking for the Reptile Community is without question and at minimum just plain wrong and well outside any moral and ethical standards that should required within the reptile community. Many people based their initial thoughts of Ballbids.com on these false accusations. This link will at the least provide for the truth for any viewers and previous comment's of those within this forum. Fauna website should be available for all members of the community as well as the new members, as a place to come to receive factual information, helpful assistance and to Buy, Sell, Trade or Auction at the same time insuring people receive the proper information without an elitist demeanor. Shipped in a priority usps box (via FedEx, which breaks a federal law - that box is usps property), in a box with ZERO labeling to comply with the lacey act. The animal is inside, in an unsecured deli cup (fedex guidelines say that's gotta be taped shut), and there's not even a scrap of paper towel in there to soak up the urates to keep the animal from lying in his own waste for many hours.

Do you realize, or even care that our hobby has been under fire for the last several years, and what we don't need right now is your "breeder" shipping animals like this? If you think these threads on the forums are nasty as-is, wait'll you see the backlash that's coming your way if you draw attention to us from the government via your actions.

You're not convincing the reptile community that you're any better off than you were when your son started up that two-bit business model. I'm guessing we know where his financial backing came from.

You can always tell when business for them is lagging. One of them pops back up on the message boards.

So what if I am family of the owner? That says nothing of the blatant lies perpetrated against a company just because someone may not like them. My intention was to come here to deal with reasonable minded adults and to convey legitimate factual information. It is apparent that is not the intention of this site members. As far as packaging on anything won on Ballbids, the Breeders ship directly. You have a problem with that take it up with them. Ballbids has written agreements with all Breeders to ensure any law enforce at the time of delivery is complied with.

This 'email' was SIX MONTHS after the initial email was sent to me from Marilyn at the Board of Auctioneers in Ky. I have proven the legitimacy of that email, you cannot deny that - period.
That link if full of angry backlash, half truths and straight up LIES! Not a single thing on that page is complete. If you want to come here and prove anything, you need to tell the whole story, not twist it into something that makes you look good. That is not what this BOI is about.

Robin, call the Executive Director of the Kentucky Board of Auctioneers yourself since you don't believe. I have had multiple conversations with her. This is my point. You wish to say things without facts. There are no half truths in the link provided. These are their own words written on the internet. Please Robin, you have to be smarter than this! Unfortunately Robin, it became a bickering mess immediately when the lies began by the Say No gang. How does one protect themselves from 25 boisterous liars running rampant through the internet posting complete lies. First off, the site had its issues and had to be rebuilt. This was posted. The time took a bit longer to complete and re launch. This was posted. Any problems were and continue to be handled professionally. These are always posted. What more would you want besides the company just not being there?
