e above pictures that Barbie Satrom has posted. Picture 1: The pictures of the babies being weight out was giving her an example of my calculations to arrive at 3148 babies. I just wanted her to know that I was not ball parking my calculations or using some previously conceived number and that the g/baby was specific to what was in the shipment.
Picture 2: shows me sorting out the larges and mediums the next day. This tubs went right from sorting the day before and stored with lids on till the next day when I brought out to sort. The mediums on the left are supposed to contain 2500, not 600 and the larges on the right were not even part of the deal. She said she was going to throw those in sweeten the deal.
Here is what I think:
I believe she did count 1000 adult females and 200 adult males (even though I was supposed to get 1800. She admits she "counted most the shipment myself" and admitting that her friend swears to counting them out. (I will upload Text pictures to follow with these statements) If you look at how many actually showed up, 813 adult females alive day 1, and 136 dead. That's close to 1000, accepting a counting error of 50 or so. 143 adult male alive and 46 dead, again thats close to 200, with a counting error of 11. Even though most people will send a little extra for any possible DOA's, those numbers are close to a 1000 (what she admits to counting out), although I was supposed to get 1800 females.
She said she counted the smalls, but doubt that. By here own admission in the grainy pictures that she posted, all the smalls, mediums and larges were in one bin. Why did she not take pictures of them individually counted out. That's because I don't think they were every separated. I received them all together in one box myself. I would think, if I was shipping that many, I would of thought to ship each size separate after counting. I mean I spent $1350, there is some room for shipping an extra box. But I think she though if she just threw everything in one box, there is no way I would count them out and would just accept what was in the box for what we agreed. I think this was one colony, and she was assuming there were certain numbers on mediums and smalls, but did a horrible job estimating. She admitted to having her friend add in the extra females and mediums and shipping it (again, both 12X12X5 priority boxes were shipped with 1, ONE, UNO, egg crate in each. Who is in the business for 6 years and ships like this without expecting DOA's. Someone who did not ship or see what actually went into the box does!!!
