    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I wish people would take the time to learn the difference between slander and libel before they post on message boards trying to look knowledgeable..... :rolleyes:

p.s. I still (after reading all this and following the thread) think that BF did not follow the appropriate business procedures. I wish they had realized that regardless of whatever they may feel, think, or wish... the BOI is made up chiefly of their customer base. It would have been respectful to post their own response instead of sending a kid (or anyone else) to do it. It was certainly not appropriate for them to be discussing a customer with a friend if the friend knew who said customer was.

I am aware that businesses share stories with their friends. These are in the manner of.."this woman came into the store today." It is not in the manner of or should not be in the manner of..(insert name here) came here and ...... but that's just me and business ethics courses.:rolleyes:

Well I probably should not be criticizing you, but your not helping this site out at all when you act like trolls. I know quite a few people that wont even post on here because of the behavior of some on here.

Why do you want to keep this thread going if it is slandering the bean farm name for no reason?

Libel...if that's what you want; But this thread still slanders the Bean Farm name.
 
Well, look at it plain and simple, Luc. Ignore the fact that you've done business with them. ignore the fact that you know the owners.

Now.. There was an issue with the OP and the BF. The OP wasn't aware of the technicalities, they just saw that payment went through their bank, and nothing was sent in regards to confirmation. They called in and (supposedly) got a really rude reply.

Just based on that makes it BOI worthy. The OP called in attempting to make things right, and it didn't happen. Sure, they may have jumped the gun slightly by posting here so fast, but each person reacts differently. I know I would be pretty upset if something similar happened to me. I wouldn't hesitate to post here about it, or tell people about it.

Now, if you're so hung up on the OP posting about this, why aren't you crusading for all of the other people who have had Bad Guy threads about them due to a misunderstanding that was eventually resolved?

The Bean Farm had no reason to talk about this business deal with you. You telling them about this thread wasn't a reason. As far as I am concerned, you have done more harm to the Bean Farm's reputation than the OP's post by telling us all that they discussed this with you. That's just my opinion though.

Look, it's not slander or libel if what was said is the truth. Brett, as far as we know, was completely honest about everything. The BIGGER issue here, is why Giovanni was sharing personal transaction information with anyone else. That is private information, and should have only been divulged to Brett's wife, NOT to you. In fact, it appeared as though you had a better understanding of the issues going on with the transaction than Brett did. Isn't that a little messed up?

It's awfully ironic that you're blaming other people of pushing an agenda or trying to start something when I've seen you put your foot in your mouth many times.
 
Bean Farm

I have used Bean Farm on numerous occasions and have never had a problem, they have been great to deal with.

nobody is saying they are "BAD to deal with "

the OP had a problem witch turned out to be a mix up , so he posted here.. he didnt flame them or slander them or libel them , he just stated the experience he had that didnt go smoothly .

but in the midst of finding this out,it was also brought to light something that Bean Farm did that they shouldnt have .
and they havent themselves come here to clear things up , apparently they placed that job into a youngsters hands to post their defense , instead of doing it themselves ..

like i stated before i have used BF on a few occasions and never had a problem and i will continue to use them when the need arises ..
