Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm warning you if you don't buy from this guys operation you're going to get crap! Ha! Thought this was a bad guy post didn't you!

I ordered a water monitor on monday and I just got this pristine baby water monitor. Absolutly perfect! If I had a camera I'd show some pictures but...it's a water monitor, everyone knows what babies look like. I'm looking forward to being one of the rare people who actually dont get rid of them and dump them.

Probably the best animal I could get for the price. The shipping package was fantastic. Insulated great with a heat pack. Plus they put em in a little snake bag so, WOOT free snake bag! Every herper knows, theyre gold in this industry.

Anyhow, I checked him out here before I ordered and he had a fantastic reputation so I'm sure this post doesn't really matter. I just wanted an excuse to get you guys all riled up. I can see you guys right now click on that link. "OH NO HE DINT TALK THAT WAY ABOUT MAH BOI BEN! IM BOUT TO FLAME THIS FOO"

That "attention grabbing" opening line could hurt your seller if any one skips oppening the BOI thread. I do have to say I opened your post and it sure is original and will get plenty of views... I honestly wouldn't appreciate it if I were ben though.
 
Psh, ben has a sense of humor. I consulted my WWBD (What Would Ben Do) bracelet before posting this. It's cool.

On a side note. 3 hours into his enclosure and I see his hide box rattling around as he's eating crickets. Woot!
 
The only bad thing about the title of the post is that some people won't take the time to actually read it and form a false opinion of Ben. I personally wouldn't have done it even if Ben does have a sense of humor. You have potentially turned future buyers away. Yes people should read the threads if they are curious but no not everyone will. Sometimes cleverness is ignorance it seems. I hope for Ben's sake that it does not affect his business even in the smallest way.
 
Ben has a stellar reputation. I think anybody's who's been around longer than 15 minutes probably knows that. Most people will likely open this thread for the same reason I did ... they don't believe their eyes!

I would hate to think someone is shallow enough to just read the title and form an opinion.
 
I opened it also because I couldn't believe it at first.

But I agree with others who do not know Ben nor have ever dealt with him could pull this up and not even read it and in turn decide against buying from him. I would hope that wouldn't happen but some people aren't willing to go past a title.

Ben is a phenomenal seller!! I've done business with him a dozen times and will not hesitate to do business with him a dozen more.
 
I completely agree with you guys. If you are considering buying any living thing yes you should at least take the time to do some research. But the sad fact is that not everyone does. There are shallow people who do form opinions without taking the time to check facts.

Well...I don't mean this to come off rude at all, but are those the kind of customers he would want anyway? If they aren't going to take the time to click a couple threads and do their research, who knows how much research they did before buying his animal?

I have to admit I've never bought from him before, and I was searching him because I saw an ad on Kingsnake and it looked like a beautiful animal so I BOI'd him...this was the first thread that popped up and I read the whole thing. Now I know that I have nothing to worry about if I do end up buying from him since there are apparently many people who jumped on this thinking they'd need to defend him if need be :)

When I saw this pop up I was like "Say what?"..Haha. It shouldn't hurt Ben's business. He's got a customer base that's not going anywhere.
 
We recently ordered a baby Anery RTB from Ben Siegel, He came very happy and healthy, the packaging was perfect supplied with a heat pack, and he was also in a small snake bag. I had a good experience talking to the people there on the phone also, which does not always happen. I will absolutely refer many people to deal with Ben, and I hope to buy from him again....Our newest addition "shayde" is beautiful and very sweet.....Thank you Ben
 
I was really confused as well when I saw that warning. I've purchased from him in the past, and I can say it was the easiest transaction I've ever done. And the animals are still doing great.

Somehow I think Ben is secure enough in his business and reputation that he would not be pissed off if he actually read the entire thread.
Everyone who's been in the hobby/profession longer than the proverbial 15-minutes of fame knows Ben is above reproach. :)
