    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Therefore you are due the full refund.
 
Dragondad raised an interesting point and then think he missed it. It appears to me that you requested paperwork after you had made the deal, and even after you had sent money. Still time to back out but very late in the transaction. I mean if its so important wouldnt you want to ask about papers when you first contact the seller.

And also the subject of the email says package deal was this a package deal??
 
It was at the point of sending the money order that I realized that I had no confirmation in writing that she was a het. We had agreed to delay shipping until the following week when someone would be here so there was plenty of time to cancel the deal.

Well, no confirmation other than the add itself, which did say 100% het. It was then, after sending the money order, that I realized I had not pointedly asked for proof, that I was being a little too trusting, and so made up for it by very pointedly asking for proof and providing examples of what kind of proof I wanted.

We get down to the fine line of what constitutes proof. I get the feeling she thought she really had the documentation, and yet it still wasnt the proof you had specifically asked for.

I hope that it all works out, I still think she should offer the refund
if for no other reason than to keep a customer happy. I mean I would go out of my way to keep my customer service reputation great just so people would know they can trust me. (What a concept Upstate)
 
Actually, I just went back through the 20 or so emails we exchanged and I asked her for verification on the same day I sent the money order. That was after I had asked her to hold off on shipping until the next week, so the timing would have left several days for her to prove it or send me my money order back. She did then write that she would send the invoice from the "big breeder" with the snake. This did not happen. The rest is posted above.

I didn't save the add from ks, but I believe it was for one trio and another pair, all 100% het for albino according to the add. I was only interested in the single female and made a deal to purchase her alone.

On the reciept front, I have written a great great many of them over the years and one thing they all had in common was contact information, address and/or phone number. They were always legible. The one I recieved had no phone number, no address, and I am still not sure of the guys last name because it is illegible, I can't make the darn thing out for certain.

My suspicion is that most if not all of the "big breeders" have much more professional invoices than this piece of paper I got. I was expecting more, perhaps I shouldn't have, but she didn't seem like she was scamming or uneducated. I'm not saying she is now, but that invoice was sooooooo subpar that it soured the entire deal for me.

As to a reply to Wes's attacks- He bought the snake knowing that we would have to find the paperwork that was given to us at time of purchase of the 100% percent het albino boa- He knew that the paper was not handy- and he knew the possibility of us not finding the paper work- He did send us the money knowing that hte paperwork might not get to him-
We did go on vacation which he knew. From the get go, Wes, knew everything about the snake, before he sent money-
We do have all emails Wes sent. As for the other boas- All went to great people, big names in the biz- with no complaints.

You better put your full name down or they will delete your post..also since it looks like he did all his deals with Kelli, why are you writting and not her? Not trying to sound rude, but even if you are her partner, she sold the snake and did the talking to him, she should defend her own self, My dad does not do well on computers so I advertise a lot of snakes for him, if someone isn't happy and they want to talk about it, or I did something wrong (which none of the above has ever happened yet, knock on wood :) I wouldn't go get my dad to stand up for me, just because he is my partner, I sold it and made the deal, I would do the talking. Also even through this whole thread, except the title, he hasn't really attacked her, it looks like he is trying to be nice about everything, again, except the title. I don't see why he can't just return the snake and be refunded, if it's all you say it is, you should have no trouble refunding, you sold all the other snakes, you should be able to resell this one, he is an unhappy customer. Just my 2cents.

question......when Wes asked for the contact info. of the breeder/seller this het. came from, why didnt you guys just provide it ?

I believe Wes needed the info so he could track down and authenticate this animal.

Even if you didnt have the paperwork on hand or couldnt find it for whatever reasons.....you could've just as easily provided Wes with the contact info or at least a name of the seller/breeder either verbally over the phone or via e-mail.

Now that you have provided the receipt.....and it indeed is illegible, then why not just help a customer out and once again provide the contact info either verbally or via e-mail ?
 
tq, I hate to have you be a liar first post here but there are some "differences" in your story and what kelly originally told me.

She did say that she would "call" the "big breeder", and you both do like to throw those two words around without
"EVER" providing a name to back it up, and get the verification for me. So she had the phone number way back when. Why couldn't I have it? HMMMMMM? Then she told me she was sent out of town for work, oops, you said vacation didn't you? Is that why there was not a refund for me? Did you guys go out on my dime? HMMMMMMM? And throughout my dealings with kelly, many emails, she only spoke in first person singular, you know, as in she only said, I and me, NEVER we or us, how is that now, weeks and weeks later, she has a partner that I, see that's first person singular, NEVER heard of?

Up until now I never really thought kelly lied to me on purpose or maliciously. I ACTUALLY believed that she had to unpack all the boxes she said SHE, again first person singular, had to. Now I am suspicious of everything about this deal.

If you do indeed have all the emails I sent her, first person singular as I didn't know I was dealing with more than one person or more than one personality of that same person, read the one where I asked if she had pictures of the adults breeding or signed paperwork from the MYSTERIOUS "Big Breeder" so often mentioned but NEVER named.

At this point all I want is contact information for the person who actually bred this snake. She said she had it. She either does or she's a LIAR. Plain and simple. If she's a liar, then I guess I got took. If she's not then her business practices need some improvement as I have not been a satisfied customer for a looooooooooooong time.

And tc, just in case you missed it, I actually was attacking you. I don't like your attitude. I have been nice and polite throughout all of this. I can be meaner and nastier than most if it suits me. Just read some of the posts I've made to upchuck or neil or southernstates exotics. I have yet to put kelly in the same file as them but with your help, she's getting real close. I much prefer to joke and have some fun with my business dealings, which even you, I hope, could tell from the tone of the many emails kelly and I exchanged during this deal. However, if you want to play who can be meaner, I'm up for it. Your move.

I always thought that paperwork came with a het albino boa unless it was purchased directly from the breeder who produced it (and I know sometimes they give paperwork too). I did not think it was something that would have to be asked for in a deal or would not be expected.

Anyhow, this can all be cleared up if the breeder's name who produced the albino was given. I would imagine that is something Wes would want to know anyways to keep track of his lineage. I also believe that it is his right to know who bred the animal that he know owns.

Then, he could just go check with the breeder to verify the het. Maybe even get the paperwork through the breeder?

If this snake is a 100% het then I do not understand why this thread is even on here. I am not sure what is the hang up of giving the name of the breeder for verification???
UNLESS, it is not 100% het.
This should have been resolved without the BOI. And when TQ came on he/she could have easily just given the name.

Startdust is right. Even though I spoke up in defense of Kelly early in this thread, something is looking a bit fishy now. If you took the time to post your side of the story, why couldn't you take the extra 30 seconds and post the breeder's name?

I still have enough faith in Kelly to believe the snake is in fact a 100% het, or at least it was originally purchased by Kelly as one. I'm just starting to wonder if there ever was any paperwork or if they even came from a "big name breeder". It makes me wonder if they may have been acquired in a trade or purchased at a reptile show and the paperwork/big breeder thing was just a lie....this is what happens when you avoid people's questions, it makes us draw our own conclusions.

Do the right thing and provide some info.

As as for Kelly not writting-She was there when it was typed.
I will not give out any information, such as an, email address or telephone number to people whom I have gotten animals from, WITHOUT their consent. It is personal information, and it good buisness not to do so. We are waiting for a responce from the person who we got the snake from. It was mentioned that we are waiting to get this responce, and get the ok to pass on all information to the buyer. All was known before money was sent.
The buyer got everything that was mentioned in the ad that we had, and still, money was sent-

I forgot to mention, that I took over emailing him because some of the emails creeped her out from the buyer. Some did not settle with me as well.

Any reputable breeder would not mind being NAMED as the breeder. IF you can't even NAME the breeder, that seems a bit off. I know right now I can name the breeders of my snakes, every last one of them. Corn Snakes from Kathy Love, and Stephen Fowler, King Snakes from Hiss-n-Things, and from Kerby Ross, a Rosy Boa from Randy Wright. I'll be getting some black rats and more corns from Matthew Woolery. I'm sure I forgot a few, but I can tell you right off that NONE of these breeders mind being mentioned as the breeders of my animals. IF you can't even give the name of the breeder it seems that something is fishy.
 
tq, you're reaching on the creeped out part. Post em all if you've got em, kelly even said they were no problem. I do have an unusual sense of humor. If you do post them be sure to include the one where I ask her if she is ok with them.

As to waiting for you to contact the breeder, it's now been over a month that you have been in this process, just how much longer will it take, do you think? Generally if someone produces hets there is not a problem if the snake is sold with providing that information to the new buyer as an assurance that the snake is a het. Unless of course this came from someone like the whitefeather character or gubitz or one of their ilk, in which case I guess I got taken. Most breeders would consider it GOOD advertising to give out there name and number to a serious buyer.

If you really have all the emails then you have one in which kelly says she will provide me with the breeders info, that she had to look it up. Go take a look.

tq, just one more LIE to clear up for now, NO ONE EVER MENTIONED AT ALL THAT YOU WERE WAITING FOR THE BREEDERS PERMISSION TO GIVE ME THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION. FIRST IT WAS PACKED AWAY, THEN IT WAS LOST, THEN IT WAS FOUND FINALLY AND SENT TO ME. It is not worth the paper it is written on. I am SURE you know this, hence the bull[bleep]ting with giving me the buyers name and number.

If you insist on playing these games you may not like the outcome. You can end it all right now in one of two ways. Either refund my money or provide me with acceptable proof of this snakes genetics by wednesday Sept. 3 5 pm pst. If that doesn't happen I will change this from a beware of kelly sharp post to a kelly sharp BAD GUY post. I'm tired of being nice now. Put up or shut up.

Oh and TQ... the rules of the BOI state that you MUST state your full name on EACH and EVERY post or risk having them deleted by the webslave.
