I just want to say that everything said in the chat transcript (while I was in there) was indeed in its full, unaltered form.

I never accused him of lying till he posted my response to his email and said I never responded to it which Ill get into below. He is the one who keeps saying the chat is altered I said it was either altered or the wrong transcript. That very well may be the actually chat log from that time. Its not the one I was witness to. Now considering Christian is confused about an email response of mine that he posted. That leaves little doubt in my mind that he is also confused about the chat transcript. Here is his email to me taken from his post on the bottom of page 14

As you can plainly see above, Christian emailed me and I responded to it. He posted all this on page 14 of this thread. Now on the following page(15) he posted this

He plainly states I never responded to his email, this came from his very next post after posting both his email to me and my response to him. Now do I think he is intentionally lying, I doubt it. Do I think he is as confused about that as the chat transcripts yes. Why else would he post his email to me, my response to that email(on page 14) then in his next post(page 15) claim I never responded to his email?

Now Adam Ill tell ya what, you keep implying I have criminal charges against me. You go ahead and post proof to this and Ill give ya what ya want. Ill post some of your outstanding invoices. You already told me if I didnt answer your questions you would do so then didnt. You also said if I answered your question about these charges your implying i have you would post this stuff, I answered it and still nothing from you. Because no I am not going to ask Chad to come here and post and get himself involved in this mess personally. Now with that said to anyone who is not involved that I have offended I do apologize. To me Adam, Gilbert, this thread and the whole .com thing are a big joke and I have just treated it as such. My goal wasn’t to offend anyone who’s not involved and just reading. Well, just so I know Jason understands this I'll word this in a way that I'm sure he'll get the point. I think this thread is cashed.

We've shown that I owe Chad Martin someplace in the area of $360-$500. Anybody could have just called and asked me but none the less it's out in the open thanks to Jason's due dilligence, I'm sure you've made Chad very proud.

Jason's shown the Clinton deffence is still the best choice!

Ritchie's shown that his unhealthy obsession with my wife is still strong and he still enjoys posting her photo on porn sites with his free time a year later.

Otherwise, we've only shown that we all look like children whining about who took who's toy.

I mean, this was fun awhile back but is it getting a little old for anybody else? Jason, Ritchie, should we maybe think about growing up a little?

There's more then enough information already in this thread for someone to decide if you're a person they want to do business with. Any attempts to sling mud at Christian or accuse him of dishonesty will just make you look worse.....because noone's buying it.

First off I must agree that this thread has gone for way too long.

I read the page that Adam posted from dumerils.com and found it interesting. It seems that Jason sure knows alot about Rich's business and the way he runs his websites. He must be some sort of expert or something. If you decide to make unfounded allegations about someone's business affairs because you have some sort of grudge against him, just makes that person sound like a 10 year old bully who just got smacked for the first time. You don't have any foundation for what you are saying, so you just make up an "overheard conversation" as your proof. That sounds like a rational idea.

"Adam is a known and proven thief who was caught stealng from others on Rich's own boards". This is a direct quote from the thread on dumerils.com. Unless there is some legal charge behind THESE accusations, I would call them libelous. Libel, a legal term meaning: 1. A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation.
2. The act of presenting such material to the public.

As for Al and Evan it is nice to see you both have changed your ways. I was just going over your warning levels and see that one of you has an unhealthy obsession with Adam that includes little jabs of playground humor but nothing really substantial, and the other just seems to suffer from Tourette's syndrome. You can figure out who is who....maybe you can armwrestle for the Tourette's?

And finally, Ritchie, you know who I am as we have corresponded on another thread recently and I would just like you to know that you are completely wrong about Adam's fictitious dead ball python. I was there when he received it, I watched it eat, I watched it deteriorate, and I saw the aftermath. If you would like to discuss this further, you know my #.

You are 100% correct, I do not have the dead ball python from NERD in my freezer. I also did not say anything about Adam and NERD's confrontation about said ball python. I could care less. I was merely stating that I saw the thing when it arrived and I saw when it "departed". Nothing more.

I have and will continue to buy aniamls from shows, pet shops, and on-line breeders. My animals are not high-class. They live in $2.94 sterilites with $1.99 overturned kitty litter pans for hide boxes and $.02 8oz. deli cups for water dishes. They eat f/t mice/rats/ that are raised on HARLAN rodent lab diet and are purchased at a local mom/pop petshop. If this is high-class, then that Ramen noodle soup must be equal to caviar.

I have been reading these threads for a while now and I have come to a few conclusions.
1) EVERYONE that uses this site has had bad dealings or has done a bad deal with someone else.
2) Most of the people who post frequently on this site have almost nothing constructive to ad to the thread that they are replying to. Usually it is some direct attack/remark toward the person in question or someone else who has replied to the same thread.
3) Human beings are stubborn, arrogant, deceitful, hateful, untrustworthy and even sometimes decent towards one another. It is a real shame that this site and the BOI are not used in a more constructive way. It seems like it is reverting to a grade school playground with different cliques against each other. When is the bell going to ring and we can go back to class and function as a group (reptile enthusiasts)?

It is a real shame that we use this tool(BOI) to bicker and name call when the exotic pet industry is possibly headed into the toilet. No one wants to ship any animals anywhere. The policies for most shipping companies seem to change every freaking day. The humane society wants to shut down the sales and trade of all reptiles. Rotten people in the industry trying to skirt every law just to make a buck here or there. No wonder some organizations want herp people scattered to the winds. And here we have all of us fighting amongst ourselves. "My animals are better than yours.", "I need top dollar for this unproven look-a-like ball python.", "Joe Blow over there's animals are all sick and he's a con artist(lie), so come and buy from me.", "I would never buy from so and so, he's just out to make money.", "I do it for the love of the reptiles, so buy my $75,000 snake."......and so on.

I deal with people who are getting their first reptile every day. I always wonder when that person is going to come back to my store and tell me that he won't take less than $30 each for normal cornsnakes because they are high quality animals....and he paid less than that for his first cornsnake from our store!

Ego and greed...what a great combination when it comes to the animals that we "love".

Well-spoken Derek! See, getting that degree in Chemical Engineering has at least taught you to speak well if you're not going to use it for anything else. Oh, sorry if I blew that small TX town hick cover of yours.

For me, the hobby use to be fun. Sending all those SASE out for pricelists. The guy who had that big stack of them was always like a god! Then you'd call and pray the breeder wasn't out of the snake you wanted. Trying to get him to go down on price was just a joke! You were scared you'd insult him and he'd hang up.

The hobby is a joke now! $20,000 snakes motivated by nothing but greed. No Corn snake or Ball Python on the planet is worth $1,000 much less $20,000! People will pay it because they can make their money back, not cause they want a pet. Money is the motivation!

Either way, I was there before the web hit the reptile business and I'll be there in 10 years when it falls apart too. I went from over 500 snakes last year to 12 this year and it's the best thing I ever did. I was burnt out and tired of dealing with people so I bowed out before I started doing anything stupid.

I will say, there are MANY good people out there breeding snakes. Many that would do it no matter what they made or lost. I have A LOT of close friends I owe to reptiles so I'm not knocking it, just the direction it's taken. I can only say I was as deep in it as anybody and I'm happy to have washed my hands of reptiles as a business.

As for the board. It's cool, kills time when I can't sleep; I get to talk stupid most of the time and even help people out once in awhile. The only two things I play/do on the Internet is this and play pimpwar.com! That should give you some idea along what lines I put the BOI now.

BTW, pimpwar.com is a very entertaining game. You should check it out, good for a laugh and anybody who's good at the game is educated to some extent. Tough to be good at and far more of a challenge then the mental debates in here.
