In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We sold a female Leachie to him and sent him the tracking # and told him it was signature required.
The package was attempted for delivery and they did not answer the door.
We called him to find out what was going on and he said the door bell never rang.
He ended up being very rude to my wife and said he never authorized signature required and said if the animal is dead he will file a paypal complaint and a credit card complaint. and then he hung up on my wife.
I called him to find out what was going on because now my wife is all stressed out.
He was a pain on the phone and he told me not to call him again, he also told me he would kill the animal just to prove a point.
I called paypal to find out what could be done and they said get the animal back because he has a history for paying for stuff and filing complaints.

We do not have the animal back yet and he does not have it so we do not know if it will be dead or not, we are trying to get the animal returned to us before he gets it but then it will be 2 days in a box.

here's a prior thread on this guy from 2006 - http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89788

sounds like threats are his modus operandi.

I hope you can get the package returned to you. :( good luck!

(I know.. hindsight and all that.. but always a good idea to run a quick search on BUYERS just as much as sellers.)

Here's hoping your little critter makes it back to you safe and sound.
It sounds like either way he was going to get you, if the package was not signature required he would have complained that it should have been because he did not hear the doorbell.

Thanks, he was very rude and my wife dealt with all of this and she is not taking it well.
he was a dic ( missing a letter ) to her and when I called he threatened me with filling a double claim and I asked him why he is being a dic and he said because I am and I would kill the animal to proove how much of a dic I really am and then he hung up.

Wow, what a monster. :(
I hope your animal makes it back to you safely. :(

Below is a email message he just sent me after he seen this thread.

My wife was not rude to him like he claims.
My wife called him to see what was up because a delivery attempt was made and failed my wife ended up talking to his wife because he would not come to the phone my wife heard him in the back ground mumble something like they would go pick it up so it was left at that.
Then he emailed and said
Thanks for the heads-up call!! Our "brilliant" Fedex driver NEVER knocked or bothered to ring the doorbell!!!! I'll catch-up with him in a bit. Thanx, Vincent

Then about 1 hour later he called and spoke to my wife and he went off on my wife saying why did you send it signiture required people never send animals signiture required, we said we do and you were notified by email with the tracking # and then he hung up on my wife.

Here is the email he jsut sent.....

Dear Mr. Shitporn; Wow,I have absolutely NO IDEA why you made a certified fool out of yourself by filing some outrageously FALSE complaint onto some useless, obsolete network! Such classifieds are for adult "kids" who have nothing better to do but vent their neanderthal ( an extinct species or race of man) tempers. Never forget, if you can muster enough intelligence to understand this: I AM THE CUSTOMER HERE. I PAID YOU IN 'FULL' IN THE MANNER THAT YOU REQUESTED (PAYPAL). I RECEIVE AN ANNOYING PHONE CALL FROM YOUR WIFE (OR GIRLFRIEND ?) BADGERING ME BECAUSE THE FEDEX DELIVERY DRIVER FAILED TO PROPERLY NOTIFY US OF HIS DELIVERY ATTEMPT. As I see it up to this point in time, I AM THE VICTIM HERE; you have taken my funds; there's an improper/incomplete delivery attempt; I have nothing yet to show for my payment to you, yet I receive a "badgering" call because the item wasn't signed for immediately. Talk about throwing salt on the wound ? As of this writing, the gecko has not been received or redelivered. I am not worried, only maybe a bit concerned. Then, you contrive some sort of unbelievable tale of me being an "animal killer" ? By your premature, childish actions on Fauna, you have committed the tort of LIBEL, WITH MALICE!! You have absolutely no legal proof that I'm any kind of "animal killer" as you so eagerly (and falsely) stated. In fact, I was most likely breeding Leachianus Geckos before you even knew what they were! I also know enough about breeding these that you MOST LIKELY KNOW VERY WELL that the female you have attempted to send me WILL NOT BREED for one reason or another. If you have had this animal for over five (5) years like you claimed, and you've bred other Leachianus like you've claimed, then you MORE LIKELY THAN NOT have repeatedly attempted to breed it without success!! Most experienced breeders know exactly what I mean. So, come on, don't play so "dumb" as to not know REALLY WHY you were selling her!! Yet, I still was willing to take the chance with her, no problem there. I sometimes try to overlook when desperate people avoid telling the WHOLE truth about why they're selling their reptiles. Further, I NEVER AGREED TO HAVING TO SIGN FOR THIS UPON DELIVERY. As you can see, this retarded action has resulted in at least a delayed delivery and possible needless suffering to the gecko. When your wife (or girlfriend) told me that some jackass once ripped you off for receiving some snake then saying they didn't get it, by requiring signature, you are then categorizing all other customers to be just like them, and I resent that assumption! I sincerely hope that you sent a NUMBERED RECEIPT along with this purchase, for reasons to be seen in the future! Remember this, YOU called me a "dick" just like some half-educated country hick would say under a bottle of booze. That was absolutely uncalled for, yet I'm not sure if you can even comprehend that ? Nevertheless, you should take responsibility for YOUR overt actions, and post this reply in it's entirety to your cry-baby network so others could at least have some fuller picture of your dispute. I wouldn't expect you to do this, it most likely would embarrass you too much!!! Stay tuned......

I just got another email from him

I have not responded to him from the last email but I have responded since this one.

Thanks, you did me a favor by ordering it back. I was lucky enough to meet the driver en route, and we examined the box. You put NO HOLES WHATSOEVER into the box, which makes it critically more difficult for the reptile to easily breathe, especially during the summer heat! The driver has marked that point for the records!! Now, if anything, the blood is surely on your hands!!!!! You should THINK a little before you act, or maybe that's too much to ask ???

For the record my wife says she put holes in the box with a writing pen plus the driver had no right to even let him look at the box so I think he is just still trying to upset us even more.

plus the driver had no right to even let him look at the box
Really? I'm supposed to close my eyes when a driver hands me a box?
Not saying there were no holes in the box; not saying there were .... but yeah, the driver is not obligated to blind-fold a recipient before handing a box over. I know I certainly will make note of the condition of a box upon delivery - that's just common sense.

Just for the record I've had signature-required deliveries made where the FedEx driver just left the package on a chair on the front porch. Fortunately I'm a tracking freak ... I make damn sure I'm not otherwise preoccupied and watching like a hawk when I expect an animal. I'm also fortunate that I've never missed a delivery or had a DOA. Too bad your buyer didn't feel it necessary to be more conscientious about a live animal delivery.

I do sincerely hope the little Leachie survives this ordeal, but frankly you both sound rude & unprofessional - you calling him what you did and him reacting the way he did. That said, I do think a signature required delivery is perfectly acceptable and even necessary.

He was not handed the box, he did not answer the door when the driver showed up, he pulled his stunts before seeing the box, we called and had the box returned to us so delivery was canceled so the driver had no right to let him even see the box. I think he is just blowing smoke up my !!!

And the calling me rude ? you have no clue what your even talking about.

April provided a interesting link to a previous thread. This is a interesting one as well from 2002.
http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9273

Man what a joke that thread was,
The merri persons story had alot of what he did with us, he was yelling on the phone and telling us off and then hung up, seems he has not changed.

He seemed like a real nice guy before the attempted delivery he even wasted 45mins on the phone with my wife before the shipment.

Well he is still being rude
He claimed no holes in the box, I emailed him back and miss spoke and said it had slits then my wife said no she used a pen to put holes in it so I emailed him back and said it was holes not slits.
My wife said yes she taped over the one hole but then poped the hole threw the tape.

Here is his last email back to show what we are dealing with on this.

Which is it, slits or penholes ? Yes, there were a couple of penholes, one on either side, BUT, whatever dummy wrapped the box COVERED those holes with the packing tape!! If you try to "create" slits after the fact, it won't work, since BOTH of us examined the box VERY CAREFULLY. Actually, I wanted to AT LEAST punch 6-8 holes carefully on each side, but driver said he couldn't allow that. So much for your accused "animal killer". Fortunately, I took a couple of very good digital pics of the box just in case you might try to "alter the facts". Got you covered!!! By the way, "slits" in the box, even if they were made, would do virtually no good at all if release of hot air buildup is the issue at hand.....which it is! Leachies are tough lizards, so you MAY be ok by tomorrow am ? Remember, YOU ordered the return. If time & fresh air is mission-critical, the blood is on YOUR hands. Don't worry, I wouldn't waste my time writing the "cry-baby" classifieds telling them that YOU were actually in the wrong!!! Besides, most customers with half a brain rarely believe anything that is written on that site. What you should do is maybe try to take one of your long, stiff pieces of pvc's you work with and cram it "you know where". Never know, you might like it ???

For the record my wife says she put holes in the box with a writing pen plus the driver had no right to even let him look at the box so I think he is just still trying to upset us even more.

I never put holes in the boxes. That lets heat in and cool air out. The purpose of the Styrofoam is to prevent temperature fluctuations inside the box. Unless you laminate the box it is not going prevent oxygen from getting into it..

He is just trying to upset you more. Looks like he is trying anything to save face. It never works they always look worse. He thinks he is smarter than everyone else. That is why he defined Neanderthal assuming you the reader wouldn't get the stupid joke. It's always interesting when the cry babies call everyone else crybabies.

I hope the gecko makes it back to you ok. It has been hot here in California the last couple of days so hopefully it was kept indoors when it was able to. A lot of the fedex overnight trucks have AC so better than UPS truck. Good luck.

Thankfully she arrived back to me alive. I hope and pray that none of you go through this experience with him. Lesson learned. So he is not an animal killer, however that does not removed the fact that he threatened to kill an innocent animal because he was angry.

What a fucking asshole. Why doesn't fauna ban people after a bad experience, how is it that they can keep racking up sales or fraud purchases after several bad experiences reported on boi

I'm so glad she made it back safely. That person has no right even owning animals. Thank you for informing us so that I never sell to him.

I don't like this guy one bit.

When I searched his name on google I found several reviews on him, from incidents like this to threatening buyers :NoNo:
