    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi. I have used the Search engine to search the thread, and cannot find BHB Reptiles. Which I take as a good sign. But in my paranoia, I would like to inquire if anyone whom has hand business with BHB Reptiles would be willing to come forth to encourage/discourage this initial impression.

I for one don't blame you at all! Always best to be safe instead of sorry. And search hates me too, very rarely find what I'm looking for using it on any of the forums I use, though to be fair, usually do fairly decently with BOI searches.
 
For what it's worth, I've purchased animals from Brian on 4 occasions and have never had a problem.
 
For what it's worth, I have an awesome healthy, great eating Mandarin Ratsnake that was produced by them, but it was purchased from a third party. I've never dealt directly with BHB.

I have a corn snake from them. I'm very happy with her and the shipping. She's very healthy and continues to grow daily! I've also met Brian in person and he's an awesome guy to talk to.
 
They're the first place (and so far only) I've bought from. Their shipping, prices, and ease of use/payment are really great, however my biggest critique in general is that they don't have better pictures of their animals for sale on their site or more information regarding individual animals (weight, age, history, etc).
I would also prefer to buy in person when I buy from them again, because there's more information present and the snakes are right in front of you. I like BHB a lot (so far) but what David said, I'd prefer to buy in person.
 
I have animals from them, and I'm very happy with them and the service I received. I once asked if they had an animal that wasn't available on their website, and not only did they have it, but they were not at all annoyed by my asking. I bought him site unseen and he is now one of my favorites. Very professional, highly recommended.
 
BHB *knowingly* sells snakes with kinks, mites, and if you're really lucky hets that don't prove out. I'd never deal with a liar like Brian again. With so many other genuine good guys out there, why would you buy from someone who is obviously only in it for the money?
 
Interesting, interesting comments, all. Thank you for taking time out to post your comments. I am reading all and taking into consideration.

I'd love to confine my purchases to "sight seen" only, but if I did that, I'd be buying from pet stores only, around here... Corn snake breeders in and around San Antonio, please take that as a *hint* or even a "challenge" to say "hi", because I don't know about any of you, though I'd *like* to. But, I digress, and I apologize.

I am kind of surprised BHB didn't already have a BOI; being only a newbie myself, I cannot even hazard a guess.
