Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm looking to see if anyone has any dealings with him whether good or bad. I'm waiting on refund for dragons i bought a month ago so not saying good guy or bad guy at this point pending refund. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

This is absurd. The weather had been below 40deg for almost a month at night. Please private message me ur number asap. How can u blame me for weather? Refund is no problem but damn u had to do it like this. Ill tell u what its gonna be 28deg tonight but ill ship em no prob im not responsible for doa someone please tell this guy about shipping below 45 deg... but itll be sent today or tomorrow.send ur number my phone got wet cant see screen have a new one in the mail by friday with same number. U have not sent me one message on here tryn to contact me but thanks for the bad buisness uve caused me.

That's what i was told last Friday as well yet he didn't ask for any info to send it to or he could have sent it without having to text me or needing my number. Funny thing is last time i looked his last activity on here was 1/26 which was yesterday and i didn't get a message until today. So either he seen this or didn't care to message yesterday when he was on or someone was using his account. Just off to me. I like to give the benefit to people so we shall see.
 
Is he ready to mail it to you, meaning does he "now" have your shipping information to mail you something (assuming that he is mailing)? Is there anything he needs or is it 100% in his court to send it now?
 
I don't know what he needs at this point. I sent money through money gram so he should have the receipt that has my info on there to send it back to me. I have called money gram and they said all you need is the name of the person. My profile on here has that much info. From our conversations he seems to be legit which is why this wasn't a bad guy thread just wanted info. I hope i do get the refund or what i paid for. I still have all our texts screenshots as i prefer to text for documentation. This is my first time and last buying off of here though. Which is unfortunate for everyone else.

Bottom line, you say he has all he needs to refund you, great.
As for how you both arrived at this point, I'm not sure. Shipping during this time of year is hard for anyone. That is not an excuse, it is a reality. I personally don't bother even posting animals for sale that require shipping this time of year.

As for the above quote, I would change it to say, "unfortunate for me too".
Unfortunate that you attempted a purchase once and it now has become your guiding light for a blanket statement "last (time) buying".

Perhaps you had a unfavorable experience with an unknown member.
There are plenty of very well known breeders here that you will be closing the door on, which is your choice.

This site has gone to lengths to help users try to do their homework prior to purchase.
1. BOI search "before" you send money, not after you send it.
2. Trader Ratings to see their past history as both a seller & buyer
3. Karma rating lets you see their participation level here. Are they simply here to sell an item, OR are the "known" here on the site through their contributions.
4. Full name & location requirements, not just user names.
5. Member "since" dates

This does not make someone bad or good, but it sure helps in your homework when deciding who and who not to do business with.

Not speaking for the seller in your case, but not all sellers are the same, AND not all buyers are good customers either.
 
Look im not putting any animal at risk it is cold at night and like it was mentionef its not an excuse if u want a refund no problem ill have ur refund in a few days. My job has me tied up but u are my priority u
 
It never ceases to amaze me how many buyers on here act totally shocked when they order delicate animals in the winter and the seller holds up shipping... I mean seriously, when sitting at a computer thinking of purchasing an animal, it seems prudent to take the 5 seconds necessary to check weather.com and wonder "oh my, temps will be in the teens overnight for the next week, maybe I'll email the seller and talk about shipping before I send him money". Maybe that's just me.

I just feel like there's been an upswing in impatient, indignant buyers who seem completely oblivious to the fact that they're ordering live animals in the dead of winter. Yes, the seller should have updated on the change in shipping date much sooner. That's a negative mark, and shoddy business. But still, I'm not sure why people are continually surprised by this kind of thing.
 
I never said anyone was a bad person I simply asked for references. Yes it was after the fact but it doesn't matter. I did check weather every day and communicated about the weather. Temps were fine numerous days. He said he'll refund so I'm waiting on that. So if this was a "bad guy" thread I would have posted copies of texts and what we talked about. I was very prompt on payment twice so I'm expecting the same with a refund. When a shipping company has temps they ship down to and the temps are above that there shouldn't be a problem. As a seller you make sure you are available to ship when temps are good in my opinion. I was very aware of the temps here, in between, and where he is.

Just a quick note on shipping temps. SYR states not to ship when lows are below 38 I believe, but that is just a general temp. Some species may need it even warmer.
