• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I posted in another weather thread. People stop using weather as an excuse.
Again I've shipped a GTP and ETB to Alaska and Chicago in the dead of winter and shockingly they survived. Ate the same week.
Package appropriately and you won't have issues. I get it if the delivery companies aren't making deliveries but aside from that it shouldn't be an issue.
Buyer's also need to pump their brakes.
Next week, people who complain that their were no airholes in the box hahaha.

It is true that people who are set on scamming will use delivery temps as an excuse, but then, they will use almost anything as an excuse.
Great care should be used in shipping critters and it is perfectly acceptable if there is a valid delay.
I would hate to see anyone pressured to ship critters when they feel weather conditions were too harsh.
I'm glad you had good luck shipping, but if there is a lost package or delay, the critter could pay with its life if the weather was sub-freezing.
 
I just wanted to clarify some on the shipping. I did understand the shipping temps when I purchased the dragons. I would never want to put them in danger of freezing. I did offer to drive 5 hours to get them via a phone conversation we had. I also told him in text i would be better off driving to get them when he told me he could do delta dash for another 125 and we would split the cost. If it would have been established from the beginning that it would be awhile for shipping I would've just waited on purchasing them and found some closer. I do understand things happen and temps have to be just right but now it's been 3 weeks with no refund. I will post our text conversations when I get to work this morning on my other boi about him as well. Thanks for the replies.
