    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

So your saying what i posted as our conversation is not true? i can go back and post headers and times and dates and screenshots if you would like..... if you are trying to get around that we talked about the weight of the snakes then you are wrong it was never brought up........ I did Check the sex of the snake when i got it but i only popied the snake i didnt probe it i had a friend who checked with the probe..... Both times checked out to be female.....

Yes, I have pics of him locked with a female. They are on my iPhone and I sent this proof to Blaine. Let me get them downloaded and I will post them, no problem!!

I've got little/no reason to not believe you. But the more evidence you show, the better your case.
 
We did recently. Thinking about taking him to one of our friends who is a trusted dealer, Clint Bartley, to let him check him out thoroughly.
 
By reading just some of the threads... I would say its probably a good idea to get this "Blaine" guy kicked out the FaunaClassifieds!... it really sucks imo that we can't even trust some of the sellers on what I feel is the best reptile husbandry site to date... I would hate to pay for a bmw and be sent a ford... then get told by the seller "tough luck" basically. That's not right at all! People like that should just be banned from such an awesome site such as this, that way they can't do it again, on here anyway.

To keep this from taking the thread off topic with numerous replies, I'll go ahead and address it here. Any further comments or discussion about this should be taken to the feedback forum and not continued on the BOI.

We only ban users from the site for violations of the rules here, we do not ban them on the basis of how they conduct business or whether they are considered by the majority to be a bad guy.
Even though that sounds like the correct course to take, and believe me in many cases we wish we could, but we will not go down that road due to certain liabilities it would place on the moderators and especially Rich, being the site owner.

If we banned someone for being considered a bad guy, that would in effect be giving our endorsement to anyone who is allowed to advertise here. Essentially saying that if they are advertising on Fauna, they are a good guy. An implied guarantee if you will.
In the end all we have to go on is the word of both parties involved.

What we do however, is provide the tools for anyone to use to research a seller for themselves and allow them to make up their own mind.
Yes, there's some sellers here that most consider to be a "badguy" in some form or another, but the information is right here on the BOI to read and use to make your purchasing decisions.
We're not here to hold hands or guarantee good buying experiences, we provide a place to find the information for you to do that for yourself.
 
I'm not questioning the way Fauna has handled things. I would like some sort of answer from Blaine. One that pertains to the transaction involving the faux snake. I posted pics and haven't heard a word.

There is no question, you should not have been misled about the weight and sex of the snake.

You have, contrary to best practice, attempted to breed your new snake prior to quarantining it properly. If it is fathering babies with several of your females as you seem anxious for it to do, I'm not sure how much this error damaged you?

Again, the fact that you are breeding the snake has no relation to the seller's responsibility, and you have every right to bring his error to light here.
 
blaine just refund her money.The paypal thing was bs to. He probally had to have his wife setup another acct because there are claims against his and gone negative. He waited to ship because he wanted funds to get to his bank so paypal would not stop transaction. If u got the snake before funds cleared your money would be back in your hand.This guy is not dumb as we think contact sheriffs office asap. Internet fraud report please do not let him get away with this again.I'd be willing to start sending funds to get lawyer
 
The email stream showed that Blaine stated he had paperwork on the "female", and would be sending it with her. Did you receive it? Does the picture match the snake?
