In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Bad Guy Blaine Willard-Unlimited Feeders

As far as practicing contrary to what we should letting him lock with another snake, it was mainly in the point of trying to show that he was actually a male. He has since been separated.

No paperwork, pic matches the female shown. Thing is, the pic wasn't on the ad we replied to.

NO picture on the add? You are so full of shit, there has not been an add posted for those snakes with out a picture.... The mods can go back and pull up the listing you said you replied to and show you there was pictures there.... as far as the paperwork it was sent with the snake, It was behind the shipping label in a packet so it wouldnt get lost.... If i had copies of it i would post it on here to. just like i did the whole conversation we had..

Ok, took me a little bit to get all my info together but here's what I have.

The ad that I responded to was the one posted on 9/27/11. Grant, which is what we have named him, is the first snake pictured which is listed as the 1000 gram girl. I checked his markers against the pic this morning. I don't even recall any pics being posted at the time. Through all of our correspondence, I was told it was a 1000 gram female.

I also just remembered at the time that we agreed to purchase the snake, he didn't have a PayPal account and wanted a postal money order. I told him that if he got a PayPal to let me know and we'd be interested still. I also told him that it protected both the buyer and seller to have the account go through PayPal. He told me he had trouble with PayPal before and wasn't sure about using them. A couple of days later, he sent me a msg saying his wife had set up the account. On 10-9-11, I sent a payment of $400 to unlimited feeders. We received the male on 10-11-11.

We realize that part of the problem was our lack of total experience in dealing with buying snakes. We actually purchased the snake using my daughters account. Around the same time, we purchased a het clown male from Jaime Gomez Jr. It was going to be our initial first pairing of snakes. The het clown male from Jaime was exactly what he advertised.

There was no mistake on our part other than trusting someone we shouldn't and lack of experience. It put a dent in our enthusiasm for a little bit and made us more cautious in our dealings. Big lesson learned.

If there is anything else that needs to be added, let me know. I'm not really sure how to post pics or past correspondence but will do so with some direction!!!

Thanks!

If you responded to the add on 9/27/11 like you say you did then guess what you saw these pictures and this add posted on 9/27/11

Do any of you the pictures? Unless you are blind then you do.

What does that have to do with the overall fact that it's a male? Nothing. If you aren't willing to admit that it's a male at this point, then quitvposting things that make you look more moronic than you already are.

Peace!!

By the way, everyone be sure and look at his pic of the "female.". Compare it to the pic I took of the obvious male. Look at the markings and check out the probing. Nuff said!!

NO picture on the add? You are so full of :censored:, there has not been an add posted for those snakes with out a picture.... The mods can go back and pull up the listing you said you replied to and show you there was pictures there.... as far as the paperwork it was sent with the snake, It was behind the shipping label in a packet so it wouldnt get lost.... Blaine, since you admit to sending paperwork that GUARANTEES genetics AND SEX of the animal in question, WHY have you not sent your customer a full refund? Why are you telling him that you're going to do nothing? Guess you've shown how much you want to be in business!! :shootfoot

That's funny Blaine. I actually keep all shipping labels and have yours and the box Grant came in!! My IPad won't let me download pics but as soon as my son gets home, I will put a pic on his computer and post it. Wow, you just keep tripping yourself up!!

Peace!!

You are so full of spit,

Blaine, the LAST thing you need to do is to get into a pissing match with an unhappy customer of yours. I thought you were trying to turn over a new leaf? You have been caught lying before (more than once....).

Does proving your point about the ad having a picture in it make you feel better, somehow? You sent a male snake guaranteed to be a female. The snake was offered to be returned for a refund, yet you are all aggressive with the OP.

Your next post should be telling the OP that his refund has been processed and that you are sorry for all the hassle. You may still have a chance here, but that ship is sailing soon (for me, personally, it's already departed...as I said before, I wouldn't sell you a bag of snake poo).

To sort of wrap up this pissing match, I believe the majority agree with me, believe me and think we've been done wrong. I knew there was little to no chance we'd get our money back but to make sure that Blaine Willard doesn't rip someone else off will have to be good enough. We know by his posts, his blatant attempt to make points that are senseless and his inability to own up to anything he's done, proves what kind of person he is.

I'm satisfied with what this has accomplished and hope that he never takes advantage of another novice herper. We are people with morals and sense and I'm confident that we proved this.

Peace!!

To keep this from taking the thread off topic with numerous replies, I'll go ahead and address it here. Any further comments or discussion about this should be taken to the feedback forum and not continued on the BOI.

We only ban users from the site for violations of the rules here, we do not ban them on the basis of how they conduct business or whether they are considered by the majority to be a bad guy. Even though that sounds like the correct course to take, and believe me in many cases we wish we could, but we will not go down that road due to certain liabilities it would place on the moderators and especially Rich, being the site owner.

If we banned someone for being considered a bad guy, that would in effect be giving our endorsement to anyone who is allowed to advertise here. Essentially saying that if they are advertising on Fauna, they are a good guy. An implied guarantee if you will. In the end all we have to go on is the word of both parties involved.

What we do however, is provide the tools for anyone to use to research a seller for themselvesand allow them to make up their own mind. Yes, there's some sellers here that most consider to be a "badguy" in some form or another, but the information is right here on the BOI to read and use to make your purchasing decisions. We're not here to hold hands or guarantee good buying experiences, we provide a place to find the information for you to do that for yourself.

... aaah!... so it's sort of like ebay?... You can review the seller's info to more or less figure out how trustworthy the seller is. That's pretty cool I guess... iam a newbie here and have yet to purchase anything from any one on here, and to be honest this thread almost scared me into not wanting to make a future purchase from here... so thanks 4the info Clay!... now I know when I do make a purchase on here to make sure the seller is a reputable one by looking up his/her info that the site provides

For what it's worth, the markings on Tommy Gross's photograph of a snake that looks to be mounting a female match up perfect with the photograph from Blaine Willard's add for a "female".

I've attached outlines below.

Thanks for taking the time to point out and outline the markings. It further proves what my point was. To address the other post, I answered questions posted by moderators and members as they came up. I have read several BOI threads and some went a lot deeper than this by far. If you haven't made a purchase and been scammed, then telling someone where to post there business isn't really any of yours.

Discussion closed, we are over it.

Good luck to all in your buying, selling and trading

Peace!!
