Something about this, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but?!?!

What bothers me is that she opened this package, in front of the busy UPS driver and OMG, the most expensive snake of the bunch happens to be missing. Then the driver is was told to note that it was an "incomplete order." As if he had any clue of what was supposed to be in the box. Not to mention that the box was not tampered with.

It could happen but there seems to be more holes in this story, then a room full on colanders!

The whole thing being brought up by Bill is completely valid. She, (or her husband) should not have ordered any animal that they were not prepared to receive or care for! That's just common sense and being responsible!

Dimensions of what? The caging or your old prison cell? I can roughly gauge the size of your caging according to other objects that appear in the photos. If its the cell your speaking of I'll have to take your word for it, but I've heard they run 9 X 6.

Look, get this in your head and don't forget it. You were not screwed by not getting the male (if that's the truth). You were screwed when you got the idea that you could jump into this game to make a quick buck by plopping tanks down in every room of your house to begin breeding and cutting corners on some very basic husbandry skills. And it aint my fault for identifying those mistakes and letting you know about it, sister. You did the writing and I did the reading.

If you are owed a snake I hope you get it. But get the foolish notion that you're all set up for properly breeding out of your head, because from everything I've seen and read so far points to you not being ready at all.

I know we are in a recession, but your rush to make a fast buck from breeding (or to simply cover your hobby expenses) is spelling disaster to some poor newbs that cant identify what most with experience can see as clearly as I and others are seeing it. Isn't that like sort of the dilemma you're in now - like dealing with someone you don't know and getting burned?

I understand that this is an issue outside of your original complaint, but its an issue that is important nonetheless.

Now, it's still unclear whether or not there was a missing albino, and we may not ever know, but a newbie would be easier to scam.

But what right does that give you to treat them like they're committing animal cruelty? If you think they're husbandry skills are lacking (as I'm sure most newbies are guilty of at one point or another) then why not send a helpful PM or give some friendly advice? I've admired some of your posts in the past. Your razor tongue (or keyboard as the case may be), and lack of inhibitions have led to some scathing posts directed towards scammers that need nothing more than a kick in the ass.

I never realized that I needed to have my facility, including my quarantine room, inspected and accredited by Mr. Kimmel. Perhaps he can show us all how it's done after he's done alienating some more members of the community. I'll also make sure that I submit the proper proposals, for his approval, should I decide to embark on a breeding project.

Mr Kimmel, if you're so concerned about the welfare of the animals in question, how come you haven't said squat to Blaze about his underweight pythons? Have you inspected his "facility" and "quarantine room" already? Do they meet your approval? How arrogant.

I don't expect anyone to agree with my feelings. And I certainly don't expect that anyone do things the way I feel they should be done. I think there is a standard of preparedness that they simply do not meet. I made that clear and stated if I got it wrong that they could show me with photos that I am wrong. Perhaps you think 5 or 6 snakes living in temporary housing without any permanent enclosures available and crapping in your bedroom is a fine example of good husbandry. To me its disgusting and I'll say as much and more when its presented.

I didn't do any background check on Anna. I was provided information that painted a slightly different picture of Anna than what she I'm sure would have liked us all to believe. Its not uncommon that the more honest a person can make themselves seem to be, that the more believable their story will be when it comes down to someone choosing a side. Sometimes it takes such things as I do to make a person snap. And then we get to see the real person and real reason behind the storyline. Its not for everyone, certainly not you, but its worked for me and for others quite well time and again here. I have a very different set of tactics than you and its fine with me if you don't like it and wish to complain about it. But when it comes your turn here, and not that I wish any bad deals on you, you can bank on my being silent. If there is any chance that my tactics could see you clear to a resolution you can kiss that goodbye.

And just because I've posted here thousands of times means I've been in situations just like this one and ones that you are totally oblivious to. So take your whopping one post a year and your hurt feelings and pack them tightly up your keester and run along.

Yes you did miss it and you also seem to miss the where she said that they seemed to be underweight when she recieved them and less than what Blaze's ad said they were.

they way this thread turned out is exactly why i feel BOI should just go the F away. it started out on topic, then Chuck came in here and basically tried to shift blame through information and supposed "evidence" that has no bearing on the thread at hand. Way to go chuck.
