Eye Check-UP
I just took a head count and eye count

I have 17 total, and here is how their eye color breaks down:
7 normal eyes
2 bold snake eye in both eyes
2 snake eye in both eyes but a little transparant
1 partial snake eye in each eye
1 1 snake eye, 1 partial
1 1 snake eye, 1 mottled
1 1 snake eye, and she wouldn't open the other one
2 both eyes mottled/partial
I'll try to get pictures of the X-Files eye, but it's one of the really small hatchings - it might take a while to get it. Tiny eyes!
I had planned on breeding my Raptor to the blazing blizzards next season to try to jazz up their red eyes. But now that snake eyes has appeared I guess I'll mess around with that a little bit also. Breed the best 2 together and see if this is passed on.
Some of my blazings are really spooky, some are laid back. My first male I bought as a hatchling was the spookiest gecko I've ever seen. Even half grown he would scream like a brand new hatchling and go balistic every time I got into his contaier - striking at me repeatedly. I thought he was crazy. No really - I thought he was literally crazy. But, he has calmed down now that he is mostly grown. You would never know it is the same gecko. Nice attitude, no problem handling him.
Look what geckos have come to, not only do we have new morphs popping up that are gorgeous, but now we have new eye colors to play with also. Can you imagine all the new stuff down the road in the next few years?
