    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

As far as I can see all the photos on his site are the work of others, I am not even sure if he has a camera myself. He lost his last web site recently (last couple of weeks) over this and the volume of people that contacted his web host over stolen images. In fact if you email him he will send you a nasty letter and close it with "go tell Hollister to :censored: himself"

So it will get you nowhere, but is a needed first step to get a web host to remove his site.

If you want a good laugh look at his "my ladies" on myspace... all these photos of very attractive women and he is not in any of them with them.

Before you jump to conclusions, you should consider that Bob has used others to purchase things that he's wanted from sellers who have refused to do business with him. So it is very possible that Sloan had his eye on something Randall was selling and sent in someone to purchase it for him.

I believe the above scenario played out once before with HomeGrown Herps. I could be mistaken with the sellers name but there was something recently here about Bob trying every means possible to get something off a seller who absolutely refused to do business with him. And I think he eventually found a way to get it.

And I cant believe that I may have just stuck up for Randall. :crap:

Hey Jim, were you the guy that Bob was trying get some snakes off of - but you wouldn't sell to him - so he tried to acquire them or acquired them through someone else? I could swear you posted something about that recently. If I'm mistaken...sorry to bother you.
 
I was just giving Randal a hard time.. Not jumping to any conclusions. I know Randal would not have let him in the show..

There is a thread here on the BOI ....it was a girl he was trying hook up with...he filled her head with stuff she wanted to hear, and sent her to me to buy some snakes I refused to sell to him.

(Actually ...If I remember correctly ...she went to HH Moore first ...and Harold sent her to me)

When things went bad with that deal he started his threats with her.

The crap he pulls only works on those he is able to intimidate ..... he's nothing more than a crackehead trying to support his habit, by ripping ppl off (since collecting aluminum cans dont pay well :rofl: )

San Antonio Reptile Show - June 6, 2009

My name is Jim Allen and I live in Uvalde, Texas. I am a small time herpers with a nominal collection of reptiles. My post is in reply to waht I saw at the show this past weekend. I do not know Chris Applegate, but I do know Bob Sloan. I deal with people in the same manner as they deal with me. I have both bought and sold a few herps to bob over the past several years since heb moved to Del Rio. Regardless of the stories - I have had nothing but good dealings with him. My post here will be my first hand experience with this situation only. I have no intentions of getting into the petty squabbles over Sloan or his rep. For the record...Sloan was at the SA show all day Saturday and not one of you net killers said a word to him. Everyone there knew who he was. Not Tim Cole, Not Benton, none of you stepped up. Typical. This includes Randall Berry who both ran the show and bad mouths Bob all the time on here.

Again, I'm not trying to clean up anyones image here - just posting what I and numerous other dealers saw with regards to THIS DEAL ONLY.

Bob brought the beauty snake Chris shipped him to the show. We all know it is the snake Chris shipped because Bob had the add off Kingsnake that showede the pic Chris posted in the ad. The ad clearly stated 5'+ Female beauty snake. The snake we all sexed was the same snake in the photo in the ad posted by Chris applegate. I sexed the snake twice. It took the medium probe I just bought the full length of the probed and if I'd had another inch or so of probe - it would have taken that as well. The snake is clearly a Male. Glades Herp sexed it as Male. Peter - who worked Berry's table sexed it as a Male and so did several other dealers. At first look, the snake appeared healthy. We all disagreed with Bob that it had facial damage. Bob alsdo had two beauties he just got from Ken at Exotic Pets LV as a pair - they were both males as well. He thought there was facial damge because the snake from Chris had a very blunt rounded face and nose. The two from Ken had a more pointed/tapered nose. It was a distinct difference. When we were handed the snake Bob asked if it looked to be healthy. At first look it did. He then pointed out the last 2-3" of the tail. The tail was clearly dried up from mite/ticks or dehydration. It was essentially dead and kinked, but it was also not noticeable at first look until he pointed it out. It was easily missed.
Bob also bought an adult pair of these beauties from Randall Berry for $150. The female was drastically different in tail size from both males and probed easily as a female.

The bottom line here is that Chris Applegate is most likely just kid who's mommy has to handle his business fro him as he is not yet old enough to have his own paypal account. Either Chriss is not experienced enough to sex a snake or he knew it to be a male and sold it as a female anyway. The ad he ran stated it to be a 5'+ female. He sent Bob a male. Regardless of the health issue - it is a male when a female was offered, agreed on and sold. Chris Applegate is no better that any of the other crooks on here if he does not take the snake back and give Bob a full refund. Even by the insane rules of this site - a full refund is in ordfer. And Chris does not need to come on here and whine about bob sending him one of his males instead of the snake he sent - we all saw the ad and the photo of the snake Chris offered. We all sexed the snake as male. Chris is in the wrong here. Not Bob. Hey - there's a first time for everything.

On a final note - Bob will be at the November show in SA if any of you Real Men want to talk to him. Good luck with that. Like Roy D. Mecer says - just how big a boy are you ? Bob is a bog boy so bring your mom with you to clean up the mess.

"Real men" ?...So you consider Crackhead Bob a "real man?...A person that has to rip ppl off to survive - both in the reptile industry AND the taxidermy industry as well, make threats he has no intention of backing up, makes death threats on women-children and personal property, claim to be people he's not, etc.. etc...etc...

If your good buddy Crackhead Bob ever decides to make good on his threats to me (never mind ALL the other ppl he's made threats to over the years), and actually show up...you can bet your last dollar I will be "man enough" to speak my mind...no doubt what so ever.

He probably pulled a switch on the snake he actually got from Bob with the one he showed off at the show ....makes sense to me that he did that thinking ppl like you would back him up.

Well Bob did tell me be probed the beauty 29 scales deep. Right... I believe that.. That snake is a female and there is no damage to the tail. I have yet to see the pics of this suppose damage.

I told him he wants a refund I want the snake back first. He wants me to send the money first there is no NO way. I actually have intentions of working anything out with him after the threats he made..

I am in the wrong here?? Sure.. What ever you say.. Did Beardo not say he has seen the snake right before it was shipped??

Jim I must have posted the same time. I agree with everything you said.. I don't feel like I need to defend myself any further towards these jokers..

The snake I sent was healthy.. I have a feeling he wants to swith it with one of his males..
