Internet Harassment IS a federal offense and the threats he has written are against the law. By replying directly or indirectly to him (forums and email included), is considered an instigation and could possibly null any complaint you have. This would leave you unable to apply for a restraining order because the court would not see him as a threat if you continue to have ANY SORT of contact.

Since this is a federal issue, I would urge you to file a complaint with the FBI as well.

Please do not take this lightly. Even if these threats turn out to be empty promises, take it from someone with experience - sometimes they're not and you really don't want to make that mistake, especially when your children are involved.

Bob Sloan, alterna_King, The_Lizard_King, we all know who I am talking about. he is now trying to go through other people to purchase snakes for him. I have many emails from him. so many, threats that include telling me he knows where my daughters go to school. also, many pics of him from him taken on his imac both dress and undressed.

First and foremost, whether his threats are true or not, they are in fact illegal. If you have already told him to leave you alone, you NEED to stop contacting him through forums and you need to leave him be. The more you continue to respond to his idle threats, the harder it will be for you in a court of law. You need to print anything and everything that you have to/from him. This includes any and all forum replies. If any topic on any of the forums get deleted, you still have proof that they existed and they are permitted in court.

Now, again, what he is doing is illegal. He is slandering your name, he is threatening (indirectly) your children. Posting all your personal information (name, addy, email, phone, DL, etc.) IS illegal...

Taking pictures of your children IS illegal so long as they are under the age of 18 and or still under your sole guardianship. If he has any pictures of you and or your family, and he choses to post them on any website without your consent it is illegal under the federal privacy acts.

His threats are actually a federal offense at this point. They would be known as terrorist threats and he can spend many, many years in a federal prison if he keeps it up.

You NEED to get a restraining order against him and file harassment charges. If he so chooses to go against those charges, he will be picked up and put in jail.

The fact that he keeps telling you he will see you on this day or that day can also land him in jail. That would be stalking. Again, another charge that would stick as it is certainly pre-meditated since he has already stated it on several topics.

I'm sorry to say but it seems as though you are dealing with someone who is much more than bi-polar. You seem to have a true psycho on your hands. When you are dealing with a person like this, you want to always assume that they will follow through with their threats. He may not, in fact, he probably doesn't have enough balls to do so, but you need to be prepared in case the situation does arise.

Mr. Sloan seems like the true definition of a coward.

I can read between the lines, you wanted her, you thought that giving her $1000 in snakes would make her yours, but you actually , because she was thankful for the snakes but had no interest in your old, goofy, pedo looking creepy stalker ass, now you are mad because the hot girl has your snakes and you got nothing, stating they were gifts in an email is enough to stand up in court, so just go away and see the error in your ways and chalk this up as a learning experience. On another note I will gladly give you the $1000 that you claim she owes you, if you first put a bullet in your head. Oh and one more thing, you are a college graduate, in your 50's and you supposedly own two companies, but you make less than 30 grand a year(it says so on your myspace) That is so sad because I am a 30 year old college drop out, I own no companies and I make double what you do. Maybe I missed it, and if I did, I apologize, but several people have asked about what this was all about. Can you please provide a detailed description of your relationship with Sloan and/or any transactions? Sloan's thread on the other forum indicates he sent you snakes, one of your posts here suggests this is true, then you say this is all over him wanting you to acquire animals from Homegrownherps.

Sorry, but it appears something is missing here regarding the "whole story". Not that it justifies Sloan's actions in any way, but I think it is still important.

Just re-read entire thread. My question remains unanswered.

The thread linked from the other site starts out indicating Sloan sent her snakes. This quote from Lisa suggests, sort of, that she received snakes but has evidence Sloan considered them gifts (if I am interpreting it correctly).

as I said about the emails. in quite a few sloan wrote in black & white that they were 'gifts' out of his love. also, in the emails he wrote that he would "make guitar strings out of them" if I sent them back.

She then posts that this is all over her unwillingness to buy snakes for him through Homegrownherps.

Its early, so sorry if I am still missing a post that explains everything. If one exists on this thread, please point it out. I agree with everyone's opinions of this Sloan character but everything I am reading suggests she received something and he just wants paid for it.

in the emails to follow he got irate and said he does have any proof and he "would not take the cash" and once again if I send the snakes back he would "put them in the freezer and make guitar straps out of them" since he does taxidermy.

Please post the emails as screenshots (or whatever). I have a hard time believing that a man (unknown) would send a female (also unknown) anything costing 1K without some encouragement. (I am not saying that what he is doing is right..but I do have this flaw of FAIRNESS built into my make up)

He does not need to supply a receipt of proof of amount paid, only of however much he's charging YOU. It makes no difference how much money he's making or his project, or what he's doing now...this is not related to YOUR situation.

Post those emails from beginning to end, no links..I am not going to another forum and later find out that the "proof" is deleted.

So what exactly was said that led to him sending these snakes, and what snakes did he send you? Please post the emails showing he sent these as gifts, and what he would do to them if they were returned. Posting emails proving what transpired is common practice here, no reason it should be any different just because we discussing a known trouble maker. Assuming they were gifts, what changed that led him to wanting paid for them?

Also, how does trying to buy snakes through you from HGH play into all of this?

IMO, he certainly looks happy in those screenshots you posted. Those pics don't look like the pics of an "irrate" "crazy" man that's supposed to be threatening you.

He's even comfortable enough to be on there without his shirt, and he's showing you money...now I have had men do this also..and there was a fair amount of conversation beforehand, and a level of familiarity before they tried to convince me to give them a chance...

Granted, I don't know this Sloan person. He may be the type that takes his clothes off at the drop of the hat and flash his money to strangers online.

Proof of your case would clear up a few questions. I have the same questions as bsharrah...The post didn't clear up much for me.

Something happened between the two of you to initiate this gift. I am not suggesting it was anything inappropriate on your part but something did occur. Did you know these snakes were coming to you before they arrived to your door? Do you really think somone you met online, sending you a 'gift', wants nothing in return? If some creepy old dude (take Sloan for example) befriends you in person then buys you an expensive gift, do you just accept it and not think anything of it? You don't think there might be a motive behind his actions? Please tell me you do not think guys like that are generally just being nice.

My advice would be to send the snakes back. He isn't going to freeze them and make guitar strings out of them. I am sure he will just end up re-gifting them this holiday season.
