    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

That is excellent advice. The thread will show the pattern and give you ample evidence to support your side in addition to whatever else you have as it shows an intent to defraud. Collecting against him in Florida will be another story, however, he had some IRS issues last year (I truly hate to get low like this) so the next step would also be finding out from the feds what he is doing with the money he is collecting and then getting a lien if you don't get satisfaction. I handled almost all criminal law so people like Lucille or anyone else with individual experience in each state are a great resource for finding out ways to handle these state by state civilly. Don't think you could ever get as low as the level at where Bobby Hill operates. he has clearly demonstrated what a con artist and scammer he truly is.

I have to agree Ed. Bobby has dug a hole so deep that he has ripped a hole in the space-time continuum. I think he's going back in time to screw everyone over again. Words to describe him would get me banned ... for life.
 
If any of the other Tegu breeders are reading this thread, here's an idea: Why not offer a 'Bobby Discount'? If a buyer can show proof that he purchased or put a deposit down on one of Bobby's critters, whether the buyer has been shafted already or is still waiting in line, maybe they can get a little bit of a break on a purchase. I'm thinking anyone that receives help now will remember any good deed offered, next time they want another tegu.

This is a hard post to read, I can't imagine anyone being so heartless. the guy is in Afghanistan serving our country Bobby Hill decides to take his money.

Anyone reading this that has also had problems with Bobby and is not a member of this forum. please register and tell your story. there is strength in numbers.
 
That's the thing with scammers, they care for no one but themselves. Reap all the benefits earned by others, take advantage of that while giving nothing in return. The forefathers of this hobby gave us something to grow on and relatively, he is a bastard. I'm not trying to call him names but by definition, he is fatherless in this community and obviously not raised right. No one speaks for him because he is a fly-by-nighter, con artist. Someone that is only out to earn your trust and then ROB you. He is the worst scammer of all with a history of a hypocrite.

I made a post but wanted to post on this 1 also so easier to find. We paid for an extreme giant in full ($350) June 6th. For my husbands birthday in July he let us know when they hatched and would answer my calls and give me an excuse why it wasn't shipped yet up until a few weeks ago, when he just fell off the earth (unless you are wanting to send him money apparently) So we are now out $350 and no tegu :(
 
I did send a tegu to a teenager who lost his savings to Bobby. It is hard because we have to pay for our costs as well. I only breed one clutch and any extra money pays for food and contributes to my business expenses such as permits, insurance, and licenses.

I think it's well beyond the point where there's any chance that he'll suddenly realize the error of his ways and decide to make good. He's already soliciting deposits on next year's eggs, without having fulfilled his obligations for last year's deposits. The most blatant sign that he's dropped all pretense of legitimacy is that he's now requesting payments to be sent via Money Grams in lieu of PayPal.

I can't honestly say I ever liked the guy, but I never would have expected him to pull this stunt. Almost have to seriously wonder if the warm Gulf breeze isn't the only thing making it's way up his nose.

Could somebody tell me if bobby hill is dead or what cause I paid for a b/w argentine tegu from him in January because he said they would sell out so i better think quick, they were born in July and he said he wasn't gonna send him until it is less than 90 degrees but it has been great weather for a while now and I've called him 1000 times and emailed him 10000 times and left him messages, this doesn't strike me as a good business man like everybody claims, I'm wondering if he died or just got me for 150bucks, please help me cuz I'm not a rich guy that can just throw away money like that,,,i have all proof that i paid 150, emails from him, i should have expected something cuz after i paid 2 payments of 75, he sent another twoteals paypal message wanting another 75.00 so i called him and asked what was going on and he said it was an accident.... also he is already taking deposits for 2013, is this legal,,,what he is doing is worrying about people that pay now because he wants there money but the people that already paid, he aint worried about, he already spent our money, we should have been first on the list.. thanks a lot and god bless

Yes, he is dead. Dead to Fauna, dead to his patrons, and dead to most of the reptile community. I recommend filing in small claims court. They will most likely rule in your favor since he is to cowardly to face those he has stabbed in the back. Most states charge a small fee in relation to what he has done to you.

Anyone is free to PM me and I will do whatever I can to find out whatever I can to hold this guy to the fire. He knows most people will not hold him accountable for the money he has spent. I hate to say it, but he thinks YOU are a JOKE! Are you a joke?

i think im going to florida, in about a month, im gonna try to go by his house with all my proof and police, my sister in law lives there and she just had a baby, so we have to go over there anyways, but i hope i can stay calm , cuz hearing all these storys about him taking kids money and our troops money, and just ignoring all of us,,, really gets me fired up..he deserves a good ,,,,,$$$%&&&56%%$$^66^%##%%... ya know

I wouldn't do that for legal reasons. If you are to go that far, file at the local court house. In Va, it's only like $50 to take someone to small claims court and you can most likely get that back too.

Then do it the right way. He's getting away with it now because no one is holding him accountable. I've watched this forum for the past couple years, he has watched it longer, and I can tell you, VERY VERY few people follow through.
