In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bobby Pruett, Arboreals Etc (Bad Guy)

Because Richard, the snakes that died were $20 and the cornsnake that Bobby stole from Philip is valued at $20.

Bobby did not steal that animal though did he he traded it for the snakes.

This surely values the deal at $20-trading the animal for the $20 snakes surely values both at $20 and only one amount of $20 has been lost "allegedly".

I think $40 is optimistic I just wanted that cleared up.

Richard-Bobby said he would return the corn to Philip, but then changed his mind and refuses to do anything about the situation. That is stealing IMO. Taking something for nothing.

Well....its really a mute point anyway. I highly doubt Philip will receive any sort of reimbursement from Bobby. :(

Not really.....the snakes that died were $20........the cornsnake that Bobby said he would return and then changed his mind on was valued at $20.....that adds up to $40, Richard. What is so hard to understand about that?

If I pay $20 for a TV and it doesn't work, I am owed a refund of $20. If I trade a $20 animal for another $20 animal (or animals) and my animal(s) die, then I'm owed either my $20 animal back, or a $20 refund.

No attack on anyone here, but this is indeed how my math works out.

If he had to pay back the value of the animal traded AND the value of the animal received, isn't that twice the value?

Not trying to be combative here or take anyone's side, but since I teach math for a living, I like to think I have a slight understanding of it.

Maybe Phillip can clarify this, but I believe the $40 are what he felt he could have got if he had sold her instead of trading for the candoias. If I'm not mistaken it's stated earlie in this same thread.

Regards.

Not to mention the fact that a 20 dollar fee for the amount of Bull$**t that's transpired is a mere pitance. There should be a hefty interest charge, AND a 20 dollar fee. Go bounce a check somewhere and see if they just want the amount of the check back.

Let's also keep in mind that the only person to state that the Candoia were valued at twenty dollars was Bobby.

Since he can't be trusted any further than he could be thrown, there's no way to verify if that is or is not the price he would have sold the candoia for. Philip requested forty dollars as that is what he valued the corn at.

Incidentally, Bobby was trying to resell the corn for sixty, so forty doesn't seem out of line in the least.

??

Phillip why in earth would you ever buy from Pruett? Have you not read his posts on corallus and war room? Though only a few years older than you, I could have seen that those snakes were CRAP. I traded some of my lizards, when I was trying to get rid of them, for a poor-conditioned gtp. Well, I knew it was in bad condition but I thought I could get it back to health. When It died, I got no refund, nor did I expect one. I think you took a gamble and lost. I dont see where the 40 bux came from. Bobby sold each snake for 10 bux 2x10=20. Even though I don't like Pruett, I dont feel that you should get a refund. Trades can be bad, but you were able to see them upfront. Bobby should have never had them for sale, and phil should have never traded for them.

Scott how are the bearded dragons doing?:D

Reason I asked for $40.00 is for a few reasons. The conideas were priced at $20.00 EACH, the corn snake I traded was priced at $35.00 and was well worth it, and sold one for the same price that day. I also wanted to ask more then $35.00 since I knew he wasent going to settle if he did for the ammount I was wanting, if I said $35.00 he would send me $30.00 most likely.

Also the "case is closed", Jason Feagens the owner of the Ky reptile expo whom has done busniess with Bobby and knows him better has contacted Bobby regarding the mater. Bobby has told Jason to give me one of his albino baby corns and then Bobby owes Jason money, which I dont think Bobby will play around with like me. Hopefully this will be the end, but I will NEVER buy any thing alse from Bobby, I dont care if its a pied ball python for 10 bucks. And I will be telling every one about my experence with him.
So lets hope this is the end!

If you got a refund Im not sure you have anything further to complain about.

I suspect going to that expo didnt appeal that day and giving out a twenty buck refund didnt seem that urgent so it didnt happen.

Not the worlds worst crime!

The whole thing seems to have blown out of proportion and attracted the anti Bobby brigade.

Are you serious Richard???

I think integrity and honesty is important no matter the size of the transaction...whether it be $2, $20 or $2000!!!

Bobby had to be pressured into doing the right thing. That is sad IMO. There is an "anti-Bobby brigade" out there for a REASON. He is a scumbag who rips people off. What do you see right with that?

Im not so sure that there is anything I said that suggested honesty and integrity are bad things.

I think that now the kids got his money back its pretty much over-he complained he got his money end of story.

Am I serious-yes about as serious as an adult can be about someone elses $20 problem that got resolved.

Im glad to see that you have given up being a troll and become a crusading representitive for those in need of refunds (or those who have already got them)-it suits you much better.

Cheers

Rich

Thanks so much for the kind words, Richard.

Philip has not received his refund yet, so when he does I will call this situation "resolved." Its moving in the right direction, but only because Bobby was pressured into doing the right thing. The fact that you seem to think he had nothing to complain about is beyond me. But thats your opinion so whatever.

Cheers. ;)

$20 refund

I didnt say he didnt have anything to complain about I said it wasnt the "worlds worst crime" and "if you got a refund Im not sure you have anything further to complain about".

That beyond you or not is indeed my opinion.

I doubt it is beyond you though David !

Cheers

Rich

OK....I haven't seen Philip "complaining" as of late. All he has been doing is giving us updates. And he has *not yet* received his resolution. When he has, THEN and only then will this be resolved fully.

The fact that this happened at all is just pathetic. It sickens me what lows some people in this hobby will stoop to in order to make a buck. Bobby Pruett is scum and I for one am ashamed to share even the same timezone as he.
