    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My thoughts. Sal has lied to me and another person over the same snakes. Both lies were different. If he cannot tell the same lie to everyone, than how can I trust him. If he has changed his ways as you stated than this incident should have never occured.

If they do offer pink polka dot boas they will either be 50% hets or the paint will come off with the first shed.

I think Neil is right...their customers will be drooling. Head injuries can cause that.

I would love to know who these big breeders and fauna members are that have been doing business with you.

Most of the big breeders are just out for the money and ethics went out the window a long time ago (NERD is a perfect example of that).

As far as fauna members dealing with you, well they should know the history of how Sal operates and if they had any ethics they wouldn't make any deals.

Lynn Peterson just lost any potential business from me. That may not sound like much but I will not deal with someone who engages in transactions with known theifs.

Neil, you surprise me. Why in the world would you partner with this guy? No amount of money is worth throwing your ethics into the trash.

You are not suggesting that Neil was not telling the truth, are you? He just gave everyone a lesson here on how things have changed for both him and his partner. Please tell me that all that was true because I believed every word he said ( :rolleyes: ) and would feel extremely dissapointed if it was not true. Please do elaborate...Neil is just here for the entertainment alone anyways and he would be thrilled to hear some good stories.

I do not mind sharing my experience at all. Not a huge deal as I instantly decided to not buy from him as soon as I read this thread. On August 13th I just talked to Sal. He informed me he was getting in 5000 Nicaraguan Boas this year. Griz was told he was receiving 7000. I do not know when Griz talked to him, but I am guessing it was at least a week before me and should have had the snakes in before I spoke with him.

With those numbers that is close to $40,000 in profits, thats a lot to lie about. The numbers seemed to be way to large and I was told by him "yeah, we should have however many you want when you decide order" The word that made me worry was "should". With 5000 snakes coming in I was concerned how a 10 lot would be so difficult as he sounded as if he was not quite sure, he would have them when I order. I was about to buy right than when I called, he sounded nice, but he seemed unsure if he can complete my order. I saw his website, if he is selling such large lots as 500 than 10 would be easy to take care of.

Like I said not a big scam where I lost money or a big deal that never happened, but I would not lie about 2000 snakes, that is a lot to cough up. Also a lot of mouths to feed. Even if he bought a rodent company, 2000 snakes at once can put a damper on someone, let alone 5000 he said he was getting. Then again I may be wrong because he can just ship out a bunch of none feeding ones first and not worry about them.

Thats absolutely true what you said. I should also mention that Sal kept Lynn completely in the dark about his home remodeling business. At one point in the conversation in which Lynn was defending why Sal would not participate in any threads here...I interjected and asked if he new about the thousands Sal had stolen and the thousands more he caused in additional repairs to the horrible remodeling work he performed. Lynn was left momentarily speechless in defense of Sal. He knew nothing about Sal's home remodeling business. Anyone who has ever spoken with Lynn knows the man is not the type to be at a loss for words. He simply did not know about it or at least thats the way it seemed to me. Sal must have conveniently left that part of his history out. Go figure.

Rob is right seven years back would put them in the Pre-Upstate Exotics period which went from what, late 2002 on? So Mr. Ed was already involved with Sal then? Maybe Alison can throw some light in this issue.

BTW Alison, although you did wrong things in the past you put them behind you. At least you have shown you can still tell right from wrong, and act in consequence. Regrettably there are others that although they can tell them apart they prefer to “boost their ego” with money that’s not even theirs.

One other thing of concern is the following:

You want to hear something REALLY funny??.... We have a BIG TRADE DEAL going with one of YOUR FAUNA PEOPLE RIGHT NOW!!.... Maybe when the deal is over and it goes as planned, he will come on and tell of his experience.... Of course, it WILL be the exception to the rule.... Right??.... lol

From “YOUR FAUNA PEOPLE RIGHT NOW” statement it is obvious Neil, doesn’t consider himself among the members. The other thing I hope is that the person that’s doing the BIG TRADE DEAL is not someone that dealt with you in the past. I have him now in high esteem as a breeder/broker and wouldn’t like to see his name dragged through the mud.
