• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

BOYCOTT reptileauctions.com. They allow known theives and scammers to use thier site.

It seems that something has gone amiss over at reptileauctions.com.

There is a well known thief again selling AFTER she and her mother were kicked off for being VERY BAD PEOPLE.

I will be pulling my ads later today and WILL NOT advertise there again so long as people like wendy and her mother sell there.

IF any of you readers have or are using them, I would ask that you STOP.

There is no place in this business for such scumbags and I will NOT utilize any site that ALLOWS such scum to participate.

This isn't against anyone personally, just that whoever is pulling the strings is a total scumbag too and I won't do and would sincerely appreciate it if those who read this would agree and withdraw what ever support you have given until things change once again, if they ever do.

Something sneaky, behind the scenes happened, has obviously occured.
I hate sneaky people, especially when they support scumbags like the spokane theives.

I'll agree that things have gone downhill there as of late.
There are a few good people that still post there - Bobby Hill (Varnyard) comes to mind, but overall the site seems to have lapsed. Those running it seemed to have abandoned it.

I made some suggestions on improving things over two months ago. The suggestions were acknowledged, but never acted upon.

I was one of the highest rated sellers on the site and I pulled all of my auctions over a month ago. I don't think the administrators even noticed.

Just because you shut down the site doesn't mean you will shut down the scammers.They will just go on another site.Trust me bro I feel your pain.I been ripped off before.Just take the lost an go on with life that is all you can do.I HATE THEM DAM SCAMMERS :angry:

I disagree.

I will NOT just move on with this one.

If no one ever says enough is enough and means it, then your theory is correct, it will never stop.

BUT, if enough people say to owners of such sites that they will NOT spend money there as long as KNOWN theives and scammers are there, eventually those voices will be heard.

I will not go silent in to that good night, or whatever the quote is.

They're bad people, those Spokanians, and WE should not allow them to play with us.
 
I never posted there in the old days due to known scammers being allowed to run free. And held off doing so recently when they tried redoing things until they proved long term that they would stick to their guns about scammers. Glad I did.

Also, I am not looking to have the site shut down.

I just think that a minimum standard would be a good thing.

IF you've had as many people PROVE that you are a lying sack of crap as have PROVEN such with the women in question, why would there be any DOUBT at all about NOT having these PROVEN scammers, liars and thieves present at all?

The site has tremendous potential, as do some of the staff.

Something has changed in the last week or two and it's not for the good of those who care about what IS good.

So, if you would, kindly remove your ads if you have them and kindly do NOT purchase anything off that site unless and until they see that they are wrong and the generap population does NOT approve.

It's not right. We know that. We should do something about it.

I do use that site to sell on. I have been there a long time and have not had any problems selling there. However I do buy there as well, but not as much as selling. I have never dealt with the ones in question. I also have no plans to do so. IMO, maybe you should boycott the Spokanians and not put the blame on the auction as a whole. They will still have my support until I see a need for a drastic change. There are many good people there, buyers as well as sellers.

Wes, tell me a site that has mutable sellers/buyers that don't have scammers?

I can name at least one site that has had well known scammers and kept them there for the funds they are paying them. I might also add it is a site I do not, nor do I have plans to ever use. I might also add, deletes threads started about getting scammed buy their paid sellers
 
I haven't sold anything there, and have been very careful who I bought from. I haven't been going there much lately, partially because I don't really NEED anything right now, partially because I can't stand those MRK banners flashing all over, but mostly because it seems to be going so far downhill again. They seemed to be really trying to improve things for awhile, but by allowing known scammers to post, as well as not replying or doing anything about a not so nice people (read scammers) I have sent them notes about I have reported to them.....well, I just don't even bother anymore. I was planning on trying some selling there this fall.....but I'd rather sit on them.
 
Bobby, THIS site, reptileauctions, actually took a stand, actually said they would NOT allow these particular individuals to post.

KS never says that. KS never does squat. KS also never said to me personally that if I did such and such a thing then such and such would be the outcome.

I did that thing, I got the info requested.

Something changed and the promise made to me, and vicariously through me to all of you, was broken.

Since the upper echelons at reptileautions have decided that it is, afterall, ok to have these thieves BACK, I have decided to say, "hey, does your word TRULY mean NOTHING? Is that the message you're sending? For real?"
 
I'm guessing that these special scammers gave the Reptileauctions admin a special present to let them come back.

If you're not prepared to do the same only better, I guess you're out of luck, Wes.

Wes, I will look into this. I will be tied up today for few hours, but I will get some info on what is going on.

Also, does this also mean you are not going to be the new moderator over the feedback forums there as well, or the chat? I was just wondering, because they are all run by the same owners.

I seen enough with KS, with all of the very large scammers they were, as well as are allowed to use that site. Chris Johnson TSE, Ray Torres Ray's Reptila and the list goes on and on. Any threads started about these scammers will/have been deleted. I still remember one thread I will never forget about KS that was deleted (TSE). IMO, it is a big difference than what is going on at the auctions. At least you can leave feedback that will not be deleted on the feedback forums, unlike KS. At KS more and more buyer are took, this would not happen if the feedback threads there would stay in place.
 
KS sucks, that goes without saying. But just because KS sucks, does that mean we should be happy because Reptileauctions sucks a little bit less?

They made the choice to allow known scammers and thieves to continues ripping people off. They lied to Wes about not letting them post auctions anymore. What is there to be happy about?
 
Cathy, you know you are one of my favorite people on these sites as far as web friends. I said I will look into this, and I will.

As for the auctions sucking, well the same could be said with any large site that has on-line sales, scammers have and do use them all.

I can not speak for everyone else, but I have tried to keep my reputation the best it can be, I try very hard to please everyone. That said I have used this site for a long time and I want to hear what they have to say in their defense. That is all I am saying. As soon as I hear back from them, I will post my findings.
 
Wes, you may want to step back... get some more information... and make sure you've got the right target.

Guilt by association is a funny thing, sometimes it's a legitimate reason to condemn someone, sometimes it's inadvertant and there was a calatyst that turned all good things into something rotten and people get taken along for the ride. The timeline, and the knowledge of when shifty crooked dealings began in relation to an association... is key.

Someone's back is up against a wall on this one and you've, perhaps accidently, made things worse for them by jumping the gun and going off on a very misguided moral tirade. YOU, Wes, may or may not know what's going on with that situation... but you have certainly riled up a number of people who most definitely do not and have them shouting condemnation without understanding a damn thing. You're out of line Wes and you're not going to "get" the bad guy at the bottom of it all by tackling it in this manner.

There are some shady things going on at Reptileauctions and the associated sites. I'd suggest that people get the full story before they begin villifying everyone in site. Nobory has lied to Wes (about this anyway, I think I once said he had good judgement, I meant it at the time but this is making me rethink that), nobody who's so far been accused of it on this thread is supporting the washinton porn queen and sometimes a poor shmuck of a webmaster who's being paid to do a job on a website he does not own is forced to take actions he knows to be negative because there are financial pressures which are undeniable if he wants to continue to pay his bills and feed his family. The bottom line and truth of this... situation... is not that hard to figure out, if one looks at it hard enough in the right light and doesn't start jumping to idiotic conclusions because someone's feewings were hurt (Nobody lied to you Wes, stop behaving like a dumbass because a situation CHANGED after a statement was made)- try following logical trains of thought to a tangible conclusion with some evidence behind it; don't stop halfway down the trail and pick an arbitrary bad guy.

Just to make certain it's clear... Yes, I do know the details about this. A lot of them, enough so that I'm fairly certain it's ALL of them... and no, I'm not going to detail them unless I am given permission to do so- it was explained to me in confidence and I'm already stepping on the edges of that by making this post and pointing out that someone has jumped to an erroneous conclusion. However I am confident in saying that Wes has got his sights on the wrong target and that the person he's trying to step on has done the absolute best any individual possibly could when faced with a number of fairly bad options. Bad options which are not lessened by Wes deciding to take a crap all over a situation that was ripe enough to begin with.
