In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

BRANDON AT REPTIRUS- REALLY BAD GUY.

I guess I need to post what needs to be done again,
as it seems to not have sunk in yet

"either the female for half price, or both for full price.

do I need to post this again?

or even add it as my tag line?

seriously guys..."

Brittney, i really think you should take a step back. We are all on your side about a refund. It's just throughout the thread you seem to be all over the place about what a good resolution would be. Now i just got to work and just read the entire thread and made my post with fresh eyes. Maybe your settled on either half a refund for the female or a full refund for bothe.

Again i'm on your side on this but sometimes it's good to take a breathe

You have posted many solutions, most have been unreasonable, but I have still tried to go along with them, changing them to be not so 1 sided. What do you feel the female is worth? dont say half of the price because you know as well as I do, that is totally ridiculous, you stated earlier that you would be happy with just refunding the female so I am trying to work with that. If you would stop being unreasonable about it we could probably work this out

She said she wants either half a refund for one or a full for bothe. Since your not willing to refund half for the female it looks like you bothe have come to a solution ... a full refund of bothe.

thanks for the encouragement, and your support. hopefully this can be resolved another day.

I'm going to call it a night, and cook some turkey day stuff in the morning.

catch you guys later.

How is one to "know full and well" what you're saying, when you don't even appear to know???

Seriously Brittney....take some time, and get it sorted out....let it lie til morning.

Very good advice

Brittney, I could play that game too, and keep reposting this:

if it doesn't end the way kelli reccomended,

there is going to be a huge problem.

But I'm trying to act like a grown-up here.

Brandon asked you specifically what you felt was a fair price, you said half. He thinks $125 is fair. What exactly is "half", $200? How about meeting in the middle, at say $160 or $165?

This is rediculous. It is 5am and I am still online argueing over this. Brittany you said earlier in more post than 1 that you would be happy with a refund on the female, I am offering you a refund on the female, I am even offering to entertain the price that you feel the female is worth. You know that the female and male do not have an equal value. They are both Mack Snows male is a visual bell and the female is only a het, anyone that knows anything about the way genetics work could look at that simple fact alone and tell you that the male is worth more than the female. If you can come up with a decent price of what you feel the female is worth, we can hash something out. It is 5am here, I am going to bed now. I will check in on this thread when I wake up. Hopefully you can come to a price alittle more sense able on the female...

It's only 4 am here....still early. ;)

Both of yas get some rest, and hopefully things will be clearer in the morning.

What does everyone feel this female should be worth?

Here is a good question. I talked to a fellow breeder and was told that he felt that 125-150 was the price range on a female of that size. I also feel that price range is accurate, I was just looking at the fact that I feel the male is worth more than 200, so I was trying to pay with the numbers so that they would come to to what I though sounded fair for pricing, thats how I came up with 100-250, 125,225 I am curious on what other leopard gecko breeders feel this female would be worth. I guess we should chalk 1 vote up for 125-150. What does everyone else feel?

Frankly she's worth about $50 as a pet only type of gecko now. How much would she be worth if she was not flawed? I would have priced her at $150.

She paid for a PAIR though, they were advertised as such, kinda like a package deal, yeah? No individual prices were posted were they?

If i was in Brandons shoes ...

I would just refund half the money for the female. In the long run you make a customer happy and are only out $75 (plus shipping). Lets not forget she is out the vet bill (i dont remember seeing her asking for the vet bill).

Wow, doesn't anyone sleep?

Brandon, go with Kelli's advice. Have Brittany return everything, refund her money and be done with it. Anything short of that, IMO, would put a blemish on your reputation. Brittany already has a "Proceed with Caution" sign on her back you don't want one too.

I've just read the rest of this and :iagree: with this post. Personally, i wouldn't be happy doing business with someone like Brittany after reading a thread like this. I can see both sides of this, but after seeing brittany's indecision, it sorta made me question her motive. No offence Brittany, but Brandon was willing to sort this from the very beginning and it seems to me that you're trying to take advantage of his good nature. If i were you Brandon, i'd get them shipped back and give her a full refund just to end this.

I would like to ask one question-

If shipping can and did aggravate the condition/problem that this gecko has with her hip and possibly be the cause of the problem with her feet-then what would/could another shipping within one week do to this animal in terms of stress and her ability to bounce back?

I see lots of concern here about the money side of the problem (which I can understand) but very little about what a quick reship can possibly do to this girl?

From what I have read-these are the problems affecting this gecko-

large lump on its right hip and swollen back feet, and a broken left toe

Is a 5 day resting period (if she is to be shipped out again on Monday) enough time to ensure that she handles the reship well?

Am I way out in left field with this question or is it a legitimate concern?

Would it be a problem for either party involved her to give her a longer rest before subjecting her to another shipping or is there an urgency here to get her back to the seller asap?

I am only thinking about the Gecko

Sandy Peraziana

Brandon, do yourself a favor and just have her ship both geckos back then refund her for the geckos and both ways shipping once you have them back in your possession. Write it off as a bad experience and move on. I said in the beginning she was a drama queen and she has done nothing to prove that assessment incorrect. In the end this thread will do more harm to her and her reputation than yours, just end it now for your own sanity.

Nope, you are very much on base with that question! 5 days isn't very long for a healthy animal to recover from shipping stress.....I can't help but think a bit more recuperation time before shipping back out would be in the best interest of the gecko. VERY good post, ma'am. :)

And Brandon....I have to say at this point, I think the folks saying to just refund her money and take both of the geckos back are right on target at this point. I can see both sides here, and I honestly don't believe that you are in any way obligated to do so, but this girl is just going to keep on with the drama otherwise. Write it off as experience gained, do an extra-thorough inspection of all animals before shipping them.....and pray you never have to deal with another customer like her again.

As for people never sleeping....I work nights, Kevin. Was a slow night at work. ;)

Brandon, she's a trainwreck.

Take them BOTH back and refund her everything.

You'll come out smelling like roses and she'll be left in the dirt, where she seems to want to be.
