The time shown is how long ago the operation was done.
Basically saying the snake has fully healed and is an established specimen.

My question is........

Are people actually buying from him? I know not everyone knows of this site and/or thread, but it sickens me that someone would give their money to someone who keeps his animals like he does.

At least the potential buyers in this case know what they are getting.
Like I said before, I really wonder what his intentions are ( or why he is doing so) in putting up all these ads all of a sudden? Not that I go on KS every day, but I have not seen this many ads by CRE ever!

I just hope we do not see more threads on Bruce/Noah/Harry and/or Carolina Reptile Exchange after this.

I spoke with my friend Ed Clements here in South Carolina who is a solicitor (district attorney). As it turns out he knows the solicitor that covers the Fort Mill area very well. However, after I discussed this situation with him he feels that this really deserves to be looked at from a federal perspective because it involves interstate commerce. He feels that if someone with enough credibility to authoritatively ascertain that interstate sales of misrepresented animals occured that there could be a lot of interest to investigate and prosecute federally.

I also asked him about the possibility that because this involved a fringe element of the business community (reptiles) that maybe it wouldn't recieve the same level of attention as a higher profile industry crime might obtain. I was assured that this would not be the case and he reminded me of how much South Carolinian officials love to energetically enforce the law (hehe).

I will be talking to my friend Ed again later this week so I can get properly introduced to the Federal attorney who also happens to be a good friend of Ed's.

If I was Bruce I would be very concerned about now.

you are doing a great job! I think with what you have to offer and what Ed and I are trying to do with the Yahoo page that we can hopefully get the people who are leary of commenting aloud to come forward.

Since it appears that there is reason for this to be investigated (I doubt they would look into it if they did not feel as such) that it might benefit you out there that have emailed me to come forward.

OR we can do it another way.

Email me, in DETAIL, with no emotion, just FACTS as to what contcat you have had with Bruce and in what regards. I would ask in your email to me to include the fact that it would be OK TO PASS YOUR INFO ON (sorry for the caps, just want to make sure they see it) to any authorities. PLEASE include the following for future reference: Full name, phone number with area code to contact you at, mailing address, and again, detailed info of what you bought, sold, are owed, etc.
With that said, I invite any Investigators to contact me via the address below each of my posts and I will forward to you any and all info I have that has been sent to me WITH PERMISSION to give it to an Investigator.

I am not taking front and center stage here, but I will say this. In the begining there were quite a few people that came forward with their frustrations. I, with contributions from ReticEd and John, are doing what we can to gather facts, talk to the right people, all with one thing in mind..........to help you.
If this is important enough to you and you feel you have been wronged, I strongly suggest you all contact me, the Yahoo page, or put all the above info here. Please insure that it is in detail and professional as I know that this is what the Investigators would ask as well.

Victims will almost certainly need to come forward. The only other way I'm aware of to do this would be if he could be setup to sell a misrepresented animal to an official who is a part of a sting. But I'm pretty sure that if anyone asked now Bruce would not have any supposed hets to sell. Of course, he could be a lot more stupid than we all realize but it is unlikely that with so much attention he is receiving lately that he would be selling any hets.

Fraud case

I believe if any law enforcement agency takes an interest in this situation that many of Bruce's customers would feel more comfortable sharing their information directly with a law enforcement agent rather than posting it on an open forum. I have had responses to my post on KS amounting to 5 more microchipped het piebalds,4 of them from HCE, one that responded with more interest when I replied that it would involve any of: Digital Reptiles, HCE Inc., or Carolina Reptile Exchange. I am reaching more of Bruce's customers, they are just not making their situations public at this time. I will send follow up e-mails to them if I don't hear back in a few days and ask if they want to get involved. I might also re-post the message on Friday to catch any weekend KS'ers that might not see my previous post. We need to spread awareness and have active involvement of customers (victims?) to make anything worthwhile come of this.

It would just be nice to get a list of how many people have purchased and how many they purchased.

I think the list is reather long.
He has sold Lots and lots of 66%
He has sold lots of 100%
and no pibald babies to show for it.
And not a very plentiful number of adults to back up the number of babies that were sold

2.0 2003 100% het Pieds.......
1.2 100% het albino's.............

I also purchased....but deals went bad
1.3 100% het pieds 2003....they were shabby and had ticks...called him and he told me to keep them because one of the workers must have sent me NORMALS, he(bruce) agreed to send another batch.....so...
I got 1.4 because he gave me an extra female for my troubles..yea right..They also were not the best of snakes and had ticks as well.....I have pictures of the ticks......and the pictures bruce sent with the snakes......With i might add HARRYS signature on them....... how can a dead man sign his name? Well after seeing the ticks the second time I decided to undo the deal.......I am sure glad I didn't send the trio of adult green tree pythons for the 1.3(4) tick infested ball pythons, I will have to say they all ate pretty good.....I just hope the 100%ers prove out but I kinda doubt they will. If you have a micro-chipped het piebald, read this...

You should get the AVID number verified and get confirmation of who purchased the microchip. This would especially apply to anyone who purchased from a few different company names or individuals operating in South Carolina. Feel free to e-mail me for AVID 1-800 numbers, email address, and possible lot number for the micro-chip that is implanted in your snake.

Belly pattern

David,
If my "het" from HCE had a belly like what you've pictured, I would feel alot better about it. Those look like the "real hets" I've purchased from reputable breeders. I know that the hets from some bloodlines have normal bellies, and that trait can't be used to verify the authenticity of a het piebald. But if an animal is being sold as a het, plus displays the trait, I'd feel better about it. Just my opinion. There are LOTS of legitimate 100% het piebalds out there with normal bellies. If mine came from any other source, I wouldn't care that it has a normal belly.

PAUL, That is what I figured when I purchased mine that the belly pattern spoke for itself, But if he knew this he could have just picked out a bunch of balls that had this type of belly pattern.....Here is another picture of a ball I purchased from Ben Seigle for 25.00...... I purchased this snake because it looked so much like the CAROLINA REPTILE EXCHANGE ONE....because i figured at least if I didn't have HET peids I might get lucky with this Pair of snakes....

Belly pattern

Yeah, It's possible Bruce could have sorted through a few shipments of normals and cherry picked the ones with that type of belly pattern to lend more sense of legitimacy to what he's selling. He still hasn't come forward with any documentation of any type to support that he has been selling legitimate hets.
