Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Brock Shue -Herpking1720 Bad ethics

Give the man his money back but if I where you I would give it all back and get your tank and lights back also.

Bill T he likes the tank and lights I can get new ones I plan on buying the animals back as far as vet care goes if the person who owns them now don't do the right thing and take them to the vet I will seeing as how that's the kinda person I am. Also the male with the nipped tail and jaw I bought from a pet store and didn't plan on selling it until recently I was debating on getting out of lizards and more so into snakes. The other nipped appendages were while in my care I had them as babies and then when they started getting bigger the one with no toes was attacked by it's siblings. So I separated it and put her in her own cage obviously there is no way they can grow back. After you consider the amount of time and money I put into them there is no way I would gain a profit anyways so as far as the flipping them for a profit goes that is not true I had them as pets and when I get them back that is what they will be. However I may breed the male with some other females I will possibly be purchasing. AS FAR AS THE IRRELEVANT BULLYING OF MY BROTHER. HE is 17 and still a child please ignore him he is just upset if you want to reply about his stupidity reply to me he is simply a child and upset.
Thank you all.

Seeing as how that's the kinda person you are maybe you should have taken them to the vet before you sold them. All this time and effort you claim to have put into these and you conveniently overlook the condition they are in. Multiply that with all the observation of your wanna be vet brother and these animals should have been in much better condition then pictured. The pictures of the animals and your lack of full disclosure of their condition show the kinda person you are.

Also the male with the nipped tail and jaw I bought from a pet store and didn't plan on selling it until recently I was debating on getting out of lizards and more so into snakes.

Snakes would be a better choice for the amount of attention you appear to pay to your animals. Though I would suggest a pet rock would be a little more to your husbandry capabilities.

The other nipped appendages were while in my care I had them as babies and then when they started getting bigger the one with no toes was attacked by it's siblings.

Toe and tail nips occur when they are not fed enough. If you provide enough food and they won't cannibalize each other. If you don't you end up with what you pawned off to Josh.

Instead of purchasing more and attempting to breed them I would suggest seeing if you can keep these alive before taking on more then you can handle. Seeing as you couldn't handle the few you had, more isn't too good of an idea.

AS FAR AS THE IRRELEVANT BULLYING OF MY BROTHER. HE is 17 and still a child please ignore him he is just upset if you want to reply about his stupidity reply to me he is simply a child and upset.
Thank you all.

Don't go blaming the lake for a drowning when the victim can't swim and still decides to take a dip. Either teach him to swim or get him some water wings. I'd suggest keeping him out of the deep end nonetheless.

K well now I am not going to buy them back. Since I shoved them off on him. Also, the things leg was not broken when I left. So there you go. And also they were fed plenty but you wouldn't know seeing as how you weren't here and didn't see them. As far as my brother goes we will see who the wanna be is when he graduates from college and becomes a vet instead of some compulsive animal breeder.

Vaguely unrelated, but as an RVT....

If your brother is intent on becoming a veterinarian, please have him tighten up his standards on what is "perfectly fine" in an animal. Noting and documenting even tiny abnormalities is very important, professionally and medically. If you don't pay attention to those details, you might miss something that can help modify a differential diagnosis list. For example, the other day I was helping intubate a cat when I noticed something odd and asymmetrical on the soft palate. It wasn't terribly obvious, but it turned out to be a squamous cell carcinoma.

Well the childish manner in which you are reacting my guess is you and your brother are twins. You are certainly not acting like a man and are definitely not a man of your word. You have shown you are deserving of this bad guy thread even more now.

And no, there were not fed plenty. Were they, they wouldn't have cannibalized each others appendages. I don't know how to say it any simpler so that you can comprehend it.

As for your brother becoming a vet .......:rofl::rofl:

Brock don't back out now just do what you said you were going to do. Don't let things get to you learn from this. A few more questions what time did you drop them off and did you offer to buy them back before this came to the BOI?

Bill T I left here at 4 got there bout 5 or 6 and we sat there talked a bit. As far as DAND you wanna settle it like men I can show you how much of a man I am when you are on the floor looking up at me bitch. Also, Bill T I never mentioned a negotiable refund, he never gave me the chance to offer the refund he just jumped on here before we really talked bout it and bad repped me so why should I buy back an animal he injured? Don't think so I know this makes me look bad but either way I have my hands tied behind my back and am asked to make a half court shot. Other words no matter what I am portrayed as a bad guy. David Grunning you can keep laughing all you want you god damn bully I don't care.

Ok dand I quite frankly don't care what you think about me becoming a vet so why don't u stfu and mind your own buisness and. Stop harassing people for a living and get a grip on life

I saw these animals and they were perfectly fine when they left our property with the execption of nipped limbs

So let's recap here, your animal husbandry skills are lacking at best, you lie by omission about the condition of animals you offer for resale, you are not a man of your word, you threaten those who call you out when you are caught lying with physical violence. All in all you are someone who does not have any ethics nor are you someone who has any business in this hobby.

And I'm the bully? Did I threaten you? Nope. I merely laughed like I am again now at a child having a temper tantrum.:rofl::rofl:

Again, perfectly fine and nipped limbs is a contradiction not an exception. :NoNo:

Ok well I am going to be the mature one and leave it at that but seeing how inmature many people on here are I am sure some one else will have to have the last word

Brock you did nothing but hurt yourself . My opinion the add was misleading on the condition of the dragons you should have done a better job and the buyer should have looked at them when you opened the box My question to the buyer is there a reason you waited till the next day to contact him. I know if I opened the box and seen a broken leg I would have contacted him that night. Has the dragon seen a vet yet.

i stepped back but i have just watched what has happened.

but really, you stated yourself that the females missing toes and tips of tails happened in YOUR care and you think that that is normal? Yes it happens every now and then when you keep a lot together because they don't share food well. But to really have it happen that many times and not separate them as soon as one lost a toe is beyond me.

here you stated that you would buy the dragons back to make your customer happy and you could have left it at that. you didn't have to reply to what everyone was saying, you could have let it stand but you had to get angry and it seems that the only way you could "get us back" is to reneg on your own agreement.

However I may breed the male with some other females I will possibly be purchasing.

already this thread is showing that you don't post all the facts and info on the dragons you are selling. already it shows that you may reneg on any promise if you get upset no matter how menial. now that part that concerns me that most, intending to breed a dragon that has a visible defect and may pass it onto future generations. you don't know if it won't carry over, will carry over, or become more pronounced.

looking at just those 3 points i wouldn't buy or sell to you.

along the lines, a car with side wall damage to the tire is not perfectly fine, neither is a dragon missing toes because they were not kept apart PROPERLY or fed PROPERLY. I have seen 2 dragons fight over the same hornworm even though there were half a dozen more around them. I breed dragons and because i keep them at the most in triplets, but more often solo, i rarely had a nip. even then, those nips never resulted in missing toes and large portions of tails.

it is NOT ok to allow that to continue among your pets if you want them to remain healthy. think about how much pain those little guys could have AVOIDED if they were separated as soon as you got them. no pain, no injuries, no problem.

Wow! I had hoped he would see that he really didn't care for those dragons properly...you know the old saying "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions"....even though his intentions may have been good, in reality they were harmful and those poor dragons are now paying the price for his neglect.

Very sad that even his younger brother could see that his reputation was being hurt by this. Now, because of his immature behavior, his rep took a serious blow.

oh2012, it is commendable that you would stick up for your brother, however, in this instance, it probably wasn't the right thing to do. I do hope you study hard, go to college and follow your dreams. Remember that most people here have been doing this for YEARS, have the experience and extensive research it takes to do it right. These people can be one of your best resources when it comes to animal care. :yesnod:

I appreciate your support rather than just shoot me down like some people and as far as I go about being involved these animals where in good shape when they left our property and I find it funny the person posted the thread on here rather than contact my brother and people I shoving there noses in the situation. But I really appreciate your support in the furthering of my education

Listen Brent, I told your brother that I was displeased with the beardies and I asked him if he would consider a partial refund. I asked for this partial refund because even though I made the mistake of not looking at them, that does not make right his wrong of hiding all of the various injuries and defects of these animals. I believe as a buyer I deserve some reparation for the bad quality of the beardies that were falsely advertised on fauna. The ad he posted was FAR from what arrived, and people who don't represent their animals with honesty are only out to make money, because it is obvious that these animals were poorly cared for and Brock needed someone to pawn them off on. And Brent, you can stop lying about their good condition, its a bit overkill.

I did contact Brock first and from the very start I told him I wouldn't post this thread stating my experience in dealing with him if he made his wrong right. But what did he do? He declined and said a deals a deal. So I felt it was necessary for me to post this thread not for my own satisfaction, but for the good of the reptile community because in general, people don't like dealing with people who are irresponsible for their animals and who are dishonest in advertising their animals. And I myself would want to be warned of people who do bad business, so I feel it's my duty to report my bad experience and the members of fauna can imply their own opinions.

Anyhow the thread continues and you state you will purchase them back after a couple people call you out for selling me lemons (no fense to the beardies, they're still beautiful creatures, I simply am stating I was given a "lemon" in the eyes of collectors (the market)). So the thread goes on, and fauna continues to comment, and Brock achieved a bad rep. He then texts me saying quote, "So if I should do the right thing and buy the animals back will I get my rep back? If I lose my reputation I will NOT purchase them back". Brock the fact is your rep is bad because you portrayed bad business with a current trade with me and I called you out on it. Fauna has obviously agreed that you have done wrong, and instead of just cutting your losses short by doing the right thing and conducting good business, you have instead chosen to act childish and deny my refund because "everybody hates you now". Throughout this thread you have given the members of the reptile community even more reason to put you on their bad guy list.

The members of fauna see how immature and irresponsible you have treated our situation. If you want to go back on your word and not buy the beardies back, that's fine just don't expect to do business with a lot of respected members of the reptile community. Nobody likes doing business with someone who lies about their animals, has no integrity, acts immature, and even goes as far as threatening to physically harm others over the internet.

And Bill I have not taken her into the vet. Can anyone recommend a good reptile vet in my area? Although I believe it should be Brock's responsibility as he was responsible for giving me the bearded in this condition, I can see that he is not responsible nor mature and I will have to step up for the good of the animal.
