    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Laura B I have a great passion for my animals. And I am trying my best to get these vet papers posted. I don't people on this thread to think I sterted this whole mess for nothing. I have e-mailed Keith the vet papers to post. If they didn't go through I will keep trying.

As I stated above, I got antibiotics for my 2 ally snappers, and it WAS NOT 20 ml injection... It as like 7 ml as was the Vit A by mouth that I got.... 20 ml seems way to much based on how much they had to dilute the meds for me and what the vet was telling me.... Did the vet actually specialize in animals besides dogs/cats?

DOnt worry John I posted the pics of your Bogus Vet papers !! YES THERE IN FACT VET PAPERS BUT YOU SIR LIED through your TEETH you told ME and EVERYONE here that you took this turtle to the vet already and had to just go back and get the RECEIPTS !!! as MAURRY SHOW WOULD SAY THAT WAS A LIE !! you did not take that turtle to teh vet till yesterday wich was now 2 months and 7 dayslater after I sent it to you and Genamycin is fro respitory !! there is no way thsi turtle was sick when you got it from me or it wouldve been long Dead by now if you just now took it to the Vet You SIR are a LIIIAAARRR !!! Thanks fro wasting Mine and everyone elses Time !!

JUSTIN if you notice the meds he was prescribed do not even fit the description of teh sickness HE told me the turtle was in !! None of teh Above MEDS where fro Metabolic bone disease wich is what a MOOSHY soft shell is and that Med called Genamyacin is for RESPITORY infections and Baytril is a universal Med used for many things but NOT soft shell problems !! This hole thing was a ANGRY LIE from JOHN !!

Any response to just taking the turtle to the vet yesterday and not months ago when you first got it??????????
 
What are you people talking about. The bill and exam have the date right on it. As soon as I can get a picture uploaded. I was a fool to e-mail the papers to you Keith. You only showed parts of it . There are four pages with the vets notes. Ounce again being your self. Is there any one else out there i can e-mail these papers to.
 
Post the rest of the pics with the vet notes albinocollector plz. And John, at this point you've stated you've had it for what 3 months and knew this whole time but are just now taking it to the vet????? And your snapper is only 10 grams, mine are 17 grams and still have soft shells.... In some turtles it can take up to a year or longer for the shell to harden....

John, I'm sorry but if you've been doing this for 50+ years, you should know ALL babies have soft shells and it can take up to a year or more for the shell to harden, as I stated above.... How can it have metabolic bone disease when its still a baby and only a few months old??? I just want to know your logic behind that thinking.... Have you never owned a baby turtle before??? I have 2 cherry head tortoise that were born in feb and march of this year. Their shells still havent fully hardened and there are still some soft spots.

Your absaloutly correct and if you NOTICE in the Meds from vet there was nothing mentioned about the soft shell or Metabolic Bone disease as He stated that was the main problem when starting this thread !! JOHN you ever see that show on TV ???? MYTH BUSTERS ?????? Well your MYTH has been BUSTED BUDDY !!

So looking at that sheet it looks like November 16th not December 16th, unless December is now the 11th month.... Maybe I am just crazy though.
 
The D3 in the combined lipid soluble vitamin shot is indicated for MBD. Whether as a therapeutic or prophylactic application, I cannot say from the screen shots provided. I would normally not include A, but there was an ocular issue identified (hence the gentamicin) on some level.

The gentamicin is for the infected/inflamed eyes secondary to a primary respiratory infection (for which the enrofloxacin was prescribed) that I thought John had mentioned elsewhere in the thread already. Puffy and inflamed eyes are commonly associated with RIs, so it makes sense.

The animal was medicated somewhat comprehensively in response to the presentation of multiple symptoms.

Dont worry John youve done Me no harm I can assure you that !! actually 1 of the readers has told me they will probly be a good customer of mine in teh future so take that in maybe you scared soem people away but you didnt do me any damage !! I only trade and sell certain animals and have a market for them if needed this is just a hobby of mine !! however Good luck on finding the snappers you love in the Future years to come ; ) bet you have a hard time finding nice ones !!! shoudlnt LIE about people You still have proved IVe done no wrong . NOV 16th or when ever that vet paper said is still 1 month and a week from when I shiped that turtle to you still impossible fro a 2 month old turtle to have MBD and that turtle wasnt sick when you got it and thats why you didnt call me you thought last minute when it was about to die hey MAYBE I CAN SCAM THIS GUY INTO GIVING ME A NEW 1 FREE and I wasnt dumb enough to fall for your crap !!

And the UNLESS the Vet actually ran tests on the turtle to make sure what it was... All John had to do is say this is whats wrong and they would have treated it for that. Not one time when I've my turtles to the vet has the vet done anything to disprove what I was saying and treated based on the info I gave.... So unless the vet was a turtle expert they probably just treated it based on the info given....
