Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So what is going on John?
You stated that you would send a replacement but, according to the OP, you have not contacted her and, it seems, are refusing to communicate with her.
If you have nothing, at this very moment (to make the OP "whole"), you could at least let the OP know that and, then, communicate a time frame on when you might have the replacement, or refund, available.
Otherwise, this does not serve to shed a good light on you.

John, it would be to your advantage to refund or send a replacement to Amy ASAP. ignoring her is not the right thing to do.

Very easy to put this behind you, all you need to do is keep your word to her!
 
Oh wow.. I thought I was the only one who got a wrong Dragon from him. I bought a female tripple hets and received a male. I also found out after I paid that he got his dragons from another breeder.. He's reselling them. I contacted the breeder directly and found that the dragons have been mis-advertised as 100% tripple hets.. Where as they are actually 100% het witblits and probable hets hypo trans.

He also shipped via standard overnight. I offered him extra money to change to to priority but he kept saying that he couldn't get the free refunded. I had the package held at FedEx facility and picked it up there. Anyway, BUYERS PLEASE BEWARE!

Did you make further contact, with John, after finding out the Beardie's true hets or did you just "write it off"? Only asking because I am curious if John offered a remedy &/or failed to (if you did contact him about it).
As it stands, it certainly sounds like John Logston is someone to avoid doing business with.
 
John, Amy is out $400.00 because you do not know how to sex dragons or whoever's dragons you are flipping does not know how to sex a dragon.

Now it comes to our attention that you are misrepresenting hets that you are flipping for other breeders. I guess you figured that it might take 2 years before your hets don't prove out.

You can make it right with Amy by REFUNDING her money!
 
About the male, he offered a female replacement in the future when the Dragon is big enough to be sexed properly. I mean it's obvously a male now... Lol. I just wrote it off. I know it will be difficult dealing with someone like that. I've been buying and selling long enough to understand that.
 
Oh and about the hets... My main concern was the witblits gene. So I did confirm from the original breeder that they are 100% hets for it. I gave the breeder the pics John sent me and they were the exact pics the breeder took.. Lol

Dan, so the hypo trans were not 100 % in the triple hets you bought?

I seen he was using others pics months ago, how stupid of him...all he had to do was be honest.
 
Dan, it's good that the Beardie was, at least, het Witblits (since that is what you were most concerned with) but a shame that John was incorrect (or dishonest) about the other hets ... and didn't even have the sex correct.
BTW Can understand your "writing it off".
 
I personally would have done the same exact thing as Dan in the end if I just ended up with a male triple het but mine past away. If it was just a mis-sexed deal and everything I wouldn't have made as big a deal about it but unfortunately for me it never did well and past died. I was hand feeding it the day before it past thinking I could help it over a bad hump but it must of been more. Idk why it past. It was a small little guy. Very shy and just never adjusted.

I clicked on 'ads' in the ad I referenced above and there are a BUNCH of ads for this seller.
One 'tail nip' ad has a picture of a poor lizard with a horrible looking blackened tail, I feel sorry for it. :(
 
If you look at the pics of most of the hatchling dragons he is selling they are way to tiny to be shipping out. as a breeder or even as a flipper, you have to get them eating good and put some size on them to try to prevent mishaps.

Then lying about genetics is a scummy thing to do!

I think it's the & character in his name, sometimes search queries treat whatever comes after it as a parameter or a special character. Also, the default search is on his full name - John Robert Logston - while most people only enter the first and last names when doing a BOI.

You deserve a refund/replacement and are in the right to seek it.
Has John attempted to contact you, since your last update, or is he still ignoring you?
 
He posted an ad up yesterday morning and on the quick reply he answered back to Killer Dragons and I also pretty much re-said everything I already have said. He answered back to "correct me" and when I plead for him to refund me because at this point I could not trust his word nor do I think I want to deal with another dragon from him, he took down the ad and has since ignored me.... :/

Seems the post he had up yesterday afternoon of the wits he was trying to see was taken down as well. Apparently he had it labeled as het for hypotrans and only 2 months old. When in reality it is 4 months old and only a poss. Het for hypotrans which was clarified by dynasty dragons.
I see now he has posted 2 more ads trying to sell ball pythons. I sure hope anybody interested in those snakes does a check on him before they send there hard earned cash!!

Leave messages under his ads. Maybe he'll get the idea and make things right with you. At the least you would be warning others of this guy.
