    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Buyers beware! Summer Matson Layne; c&s serpents; possible scammer

[email protected] is, at the least, an unusual PayPal email address for a business owner referred to as a "he". Not impossible, but more like something a woman would pick for herself.

That's another little piece that doesn't quite fit for me.
 
I like how Summer is claiming that Paypal will suspend the account and make it to where she can't log into it since there is a claim on it. Hate to tell her (not really, but if it makes the hurt less for her), but that's not how it works. The Paypal claim does not have to be released in order for her to show proof, all Paypal does is put the account into the negative until the money is put into the account to make it a 0 (zero) balance or positive balance depending on how much is put in there. If she thinks that she can play that game, then more power to her. (though she's full of crap.) Also, if she had refunded the OP, it would show in Paypal, and Paypal would not have allowed the OP to open a claim. Even if the claim was allowed to be open, it would have had to be because she refunded via Check or Money Order, or even a payment through Paypal and didn't upload the proof. Then that means she would have proof of that to show to Paypal, which means Paypal would close the claim in Summer's favor, and released the money back into her account.

Since she (Summer) never uploaded a VALID tracking number into Paypal, then Paypal should decide the claim in OP's favor.

Brandi you took the words right out of my mouth. PayPal won't lock you out of your account due to a dispute they want you to settle the dispute. How can you settle if you're unable to even access your account, it's total hogwash. As you stated all that will happen is you will have a negative balance so you won't be able to make purchases until you add money to bring the balance back to zero. Her story is complete BS on how PayPal works.

That is a good point.
It's also the email she used to communicate with Amy, so Summer's claim she can't get into the email is fishy.

While this doesn't prove she's a scammer or has stolen from anyone before it does show her character. There are screen shots of the entire conversation but they include a lot of profanity so I can post them if anyone wants to see but it will take me a while to edit out all the :censored: profanity.

Maybe it was all the rainbow hearts and Summer's face with the rainbow flag superimposed over it that threw me. Plus the name Cameron works as a girl's name too. Yep, I must be crazy.
 
I didn't know her husband's name started with a "c". So with s for summer that makes c&s serpents. Wonder if there is any paperwork on this "company"? DBA? LLC?
