    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi everyone,

I have looked and looked all over the web to see if someone has produced a Caramel Pied, but have not seen a picture or even a reference, hum?? Both morphs have been around for while, I would have assumed someone produced one by now or is there something wrong with the combo? Any thoughts on this would be helpful as I would like to produce DH Caramel Pied next year.

I've been pairing Mojave Pied x Het Caramel and will be pairing Mojave Pied x Caramel very soon. http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=232316

Thanks for the reply Steve. At least this means there is one other person going to give it a try. I just don't understand why I can't find one that is already produced. Great looking Caramel.

If anyone else out in Fauna has any other info on the combo it would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
I would say probably hasn't been tried as much because of the whole "kinking" thing with the caramels. To get a caramel pied, obviously you would have to do some back breeding, so your chance of kinking increases, unless your packing two pairs of visual pieds and caramels of opposite sexes to outcross!

This has been my number one suspicion too, but I just didn't know if any one was or has been up to battling the odds and going for it anyways.

Perhaps when I get DH Caramel Pieds, I might look into exchanging a male or female with someone else to bring in unrelated DH lines.
