have you checked out shipyourreptiles.com? they seem to offer discount shipping prices for using their services, but i'm unsure on it. i'm about to head out the door to work again, but i'll look into it in detail this evening.
i had a thought after talking to you yesterday... you may be able to get a styrofoam cooler that he'll fit into, and use that in place of insulation and the sterilite (just make sure to put holes in the styrofoam and the exterior box). the coolers cost about 5$ here, and i think any box will do for fed ex or ups.... i think it's only usps that's picky about plain boxes.
call if you have any other questions, and i'm going to try to get green weanie en route tomorrow morning...
also, i may be interested in your female burm as well, if you're looking to part with her. please let me know how much you'd like to take for her and if all goes well we might can have both shipped at the same time to save on suplies and shipping costs....
the only other method for shipping biggies that i know of is as cargo on a comercial flight. this costs about a hundred dollars, and is really best for 100+lbs or cross country shipping. that works as an airport-airport deal, you'd have to drop him off for his flight, i'd have to go to charlotte international to pick him up. i'll find out the name of the airline we used last time and forward that info to you.

here are the pix from photobucket, if the inserts don't work click on the direct link and peruse the pix in the album, they're the first pix on page one...
http://s610.photobucket.com/albums/tt189/Ben_Biscy/
and i really appreciate this as well! i worry about online deals and getting ripped off, it's good to talk to someone who has a clue, like you said. lol. i'm glad things are working out for both of us, just seems like this deal is meant to be.
can you shoot me a pic of the crocodilian, and what kind is he again? i can't remember, total brain fart.... i'll have to get something set up for him tomorrow.

FedEx

i can't wait to freak the fedex guy out tomorrow when the burms arrive :x. when i got the retic from stan i pulled him out in the cargo office and he put on a great show, lol. i think one of the cargo employees walked out on the job
