I bought the snakes in a group... 13 Females... 1 Male Pastel... I sold several of the Females several months AFTER I purchased the group.. I made a mistake.. I didn't sex the snakes... I did the same thing as Robert and went on good faith. I do not just take animals in and sell them the next day.. they stay in quarantine for several months to make sure they are healthy and eating. I have since changed my ways and sex every animal or try to before I sell it and if I can't determine the sex of the animal it is sold as unsexed. I will get the payment to Robert. I will respond to this thread after it is done. I do not use Fauna anymore... I haven't been on this site in almost a year. Angela is a LONG time customer of mine and friend.. Nothing more.. nothing less. I admitted my mistake.. I will do what I said I would do.

RC I do hear myself. If her posts pop up on your wall and bother you delete her so you don't see them. You said multiple times you were wanting a "full refund". I have read thru what was posted. And I know a lot of what you have posted is not what you think it is. You seem to jump to some conclusions and just want to cause trouble for Cathy.
Korbin I don't have an attitude until people act like creeps. And this thread has shown quite a few of them. Plus you don't know Cathy from Joe Shmoe down the street. I've known her for 9+ years. Friends in bad situations do ask her to help them sell their animals when they need to earn money. She has contacts and is able to sell those animals for the friends. And when did I ever say I was planning on breeding anything and selling the offspring?? Sounds like you like to jump to a lot of conclusions also.

A full refund of the two males, read my post and do a lil math!!! I dont want to cause trouble and I hate posting in this forum. But what am I supposed to do? Ive been quite patient, and think im getting pulled along. Why would I ignore someone who owes me money? Especially when i log onto to face book and its right in my face? Go read AGAIN and look how many times I asked for payment and she said "by the end of the week" or " next monday" and the like, and then see how many payments I recieved. Ill make it easy for you and tell you I got 3 payments. Btw youve put more effort into defending her in this thread than shes put into paying me back since Feburary-ish.

I'd want my babies to go to good parents who would want them just for the sake of who/what they are. Not for a certain sex and to just make them $. What I have are a part of my family. I call them my babies. Not 'my collection' like so many other keepers/breeders. Collection sounds so inhumane. Like you're collecting dang stamps or coins. Just get over it already. She has promised to make good on the refund. RC just needs to understand not everyone is made of $ and can drop $300 for something at the drop of a hat. Especially someone with a family and kids and things to worry about besides just one person ranting over the wrong sex of some purchased animals. She understands it was a mistake and is sorry it happened. He needs to just let her be and accept the payments she sends when she is able to send them.

Your transaction is important, a million good transactions doesn't wipe out how a customer feels if he is on the receiving end of one that did not go as he expected. You are no less important than any customer, and you have always seemed like a reasonable person to me.

Catharine, I think after reading this thread what is most important to Robert, and justifiably so, is ongoing communication and an ongoing effort to complete this agreement. I realize money is tight but could you manage a certain sum every month just as a gesture of good faith?

You would have done better to let your wonderful friend fight her own battle. It's like a defense attorney using a known drug dealer as a character witness for his client. I also feel that your comprehension skills are lacking as you keep arguing against points that have already been proven.

She said shes gonna pay me $300 from what I understand. Yes the gesture is good but I think she is falling short. Im fully willing to send the snakes back if she wants me to, but either way I want $350. I mean I did cut her alil break, what I paid for those two males was $362.50. But im not gonna be all anal about $12.50. Until I receive $350 im not gonna be happy. And even still I'll have a bad taste in my mouth from the sourness of all this.

Gunner is right, I picked up 8 girls for 320 recently. All girls (probed right on the spot) all above 1100 with the biggest girl being 3000 grams nice and healthy. I think we should just let these 2 people settle this. And as far as full compensation goes, Robert I think the 300 is fair. It has been 4 months or so and at least she's willing to pay you. It's an unfortunate lesson in the hobby and I guarantee you it won't be your last. Going forward, I believe both parties will be wiser in dealings with snakes sexes. Whether it's joe shmoe or BHB or NERD, you should always sex your animals as soon as you get them.

Nothing against either party, they seem to be working it out through this. She said she would send you the three hundred, I think you need to stop there and not demand any more because now you are looking greedy. You got one female out of the three, she is refunding for the two males you were not happy with, let her pay you the three hundred and drop the whole situation. Is it really worth carrying on about an additional fifty bucks?

To break it down I paid $260 for the dinker, 112.50 for one "girl" and 112.50 for the actual girl. So after having all the math on the table, if im owed for 2 of the snakes one being the dinker and one being a normal, then the total I paid for them is $372.50, and im only asking for $350. How is that being greedy? I had to find a home for the males, pay for replacement females outside of my snake budget, and now I have to pay an extra $72.50 for bring put through all this crap? Theres no greed here I just wanted what I paid for them back. Im still willing to send them back to her.

Robert, I'd rather have 300 than 0...A couple of bucks here or there is not worth the aggravation you are going through. You know what she owes you, you've received some of it thus far. Continuing to re-hash the situation is not gonna really get you anymore of your money any faster. Sometimes in life unfortunately we have to write off bad debt and keep it moving. I don't have a dog in this fight, but if she offered him a refund, then she needs to make good on that refund in a timely matter. Since an offer for a refund was made, it needs to be paid up before any other animals are bought. Once the debt is paid up, then it won't matter what money is being spent where any longer.

Boy, standards really do vary in this hobby! Some people though, stick by their word when they sell something. There are many, many people that guarantee sex for LIFE. Accidents happen, but there are no "statue of limitations" on some peoples integrity.
