    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have only purchased one animal since this whole thing started. The Pastel male BP was my only purchase and only because it was a Great Deal and I sold my Uromastyx to pay for it! The Bearded Dragons were gifts or trades. Sorry you are trying to defamate my character but I told you I would pay when I could. I work at a small private owned zoo... I only work 2 weekends a month and I get paid once every month. I am a stay at home mom with 2 boys during the week.
 
Debbe, your posts are all over the place and hard to follow. Please, for the sake of those reading what you have to say: formulate cognitive sentences and direct your statements more clearly.

Oh, and saying that you encouraged your friend to go back on her word on the sex guarantee speaks volumes about your character (or lack thereof).

That's untruthful.
Didn't happen on the BOI, period. We don't deleted posts for name calling but you will receive a infraction for it just like everyone else.

The post that you are referring to is #21. I suggest you check your facts a little better before posting. We don't advertise the fact when someone receives warnings or infractions for the most part. The only way you would know is if he whined about it to you or somewhere else.

We most certainly don't delete them.

was to add some discredit somehow to the OP. No other reason. Her and her "group" were sitting around gossiping that he mentioned a 420 birthday. Watching his posts and thought she would add it to the conversation here.
Why? To disparage him.

Now, personally I could care less what either of them or anybody else does if they aren't hurting anyone else. She posted that here to hurt his credibility and character.

So, I think it is a legitimate rebuttal to the attempt to assassinate the character of one of the parties in this thread. It was extreme hypocrisy on her part and deserved a rebuttal.

Now her "group" can go gossip about all the lovey pictures of her pot plants and animals in her gallery on that site.

Anyway, the OP should be allowed to defend himself. At least show the hypocrisy of those gossiping about it. Doesn't mean the whole thread should go off in that direction but at least a limited response.

Couldn't you have sold the Uromastyx to pay Robert?
 
I couldn't pass up the price on this Proven Breeder Pastel. I was going to trade the Uro for it but someone else grabbed the Uro so I used the money to pay for the Pastel. Sorry but he'll get another payment at the end of the month when I get paid again.

Your husband who fathered your children has money, but not only can you not ask him for some to make this deal with Robert right, it looks like your husband isn't even contributing to the family at all because if you send money to Robert your children will starve.

But even though you are worried about starvation, when you sell a Uromastyx the funds are not put up in case the kids need food, not paid to Robert for what you owe him, no, the funds went to buying a snake and it isn't even a business, you insist time and again the snakes are your hobby.

I think some thought should be given to priorities here.
 
I agreed to make payments to Robert out of my paycheck which I get at the end of the month... I was going to trade the Uromastyx but someone else wanted her to breed to their male so I agreed to sell her to said person for the same price I was going to get the Pastel for!! This is a hobby for me but would like it to be a business at some point in time so I am adding to my collection right now trying to get the animals I need to start breeding and this Pastel was #1 on my list after I sold the other Pastel male I had quite some time ago. My children will not starve and the reptiles are My hobby so I don't feel right asking my other half (which we are not married) for the money to pay for My mistake. I could have lied and said that I traded the Uro for the Pastel but I was truthful.. He is the ONLY animal I have purchased since I was told about the issue. I sell for friends, Yes... I try to help them out when I can. Robert will get paid when I get paid. I usually get paid the 25th of each month unless it falls on a weekend then it's either the Friday before or the Monday after depending on when they send the checks out. Then I have to wait for the check to clear my bank so I can send him a payment. As for feeding my animals... I have purchased a trio of Rats that is kept at the zoo and when I need feeders I get them from there.
 
He will get his last payment when I said he would. No getting pushed off the stove... I guess it would have been different if I had lied about the animals and said I traded straight out which is pretty much what I did... the money from the Uromastyx went towards the Pastel and nowhere else which was the intent in the first place. I made sure the animal was safe and sound at it's new home... then paid for the Pastel with the same money pretty much as if I had traded the Uro for the Pastel.
