Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would try to find a land line listing for him/parents if he is a minor and as mentioned in prior thread, call Mommy and Daddy
 
I bought and paid in full for a gecko plus shipping from Chad on 2/14/11. He stayed in touch, and got back to me usually within 10 minutes or less when trying to get the sale. As soon as I sent my payment, he stopped responding. All I wanted to know was if he received the payment and marked my gecko SOLD. After 2 days he did let me know he got the payment. If he would have gotten right back to me after payment was rec'd he could have shipped that week. So I missed my shipping window, and I waited until we were going to have better weather...which was this week. I have been trying to contact him for the past 5 days, with absolutely NO response. I sent him PM's at Pangea, and Fuana, and sent multiple emails asking him to get back to me so we could ship this week. My last 2 emails asked him to please get back to me or I'd file a dispute with paypal, and be forced to join this thread...so here I am.
DONT BUY FROM CHAD JOHNSON of CHADSCRESTEDS...HE'S A THEIF!
 
Sorry this has happened Guys! I think the posting op definately has done his due diligence showing that Chad is knowingly ignoring him and not sending the animal. Chad is definately showing his true colors! Mental note dnbfostl!!! In big bold caps on my list. This person is starting to sound like a theif in my eyes. I hope he acts like an adult and take care of these bad transactions. He won't last long in this business if he doesn't. And even if he does more than a few people will see this and add him to their big lists. Thanks for bringing this to everyones attention.

Yeah you could say Chad Johnson is now on my big list of people to avoid. You have to be willing to help your buyer and be quick about communication.

Obviously this was all a ploy on his part to get money from as many people as possible, now the victims have to deal with the money loss and have to look for a new animal.
 
I called Chad this afternoon, and I offered to facilitate picking up the animals and shipping them to customers who have paid for their animals (offered to pay for the boxes, cups, AND freight) to get people their animals. He lives about 10 minutes from me. He has yet to return my calls, if he does I will honor that proposal to help people get what they paid for.

I will keep you posted on any contact.

Wow! Really? That would be great, I hope he takes you up on it! Maybe you could just show up over there, and confront him on our behalf?

Jordan, you are a good man, I am sure your life's karma would go through the roof if you paid a personal visit to his parents house with the local authorities.......a lesson in business 101 :reddevil:

If you get his address to go pick up those geckos, give it to the cops and have them pay him a visit ;) That would scare the $#!T out of that kid!
 
Unfortunately the situations you all described are completely illegal and would get YOU in trouble.

Feel free to let his local authorities know and see if they can help you, but doing anything in person is just asking for trouble.
 
wow. this seems like it has gone over the top! However, CBU, hope you don't mind the acromyn, that is great that you would assist him and the buyers.

This sucks like hell that this would happen and even though i try to have a "sunny" disposition about things it seems like this guy isn't going to don any refunding. i mean what teen is going to give money back? I don't mean to sound bad on teens. I once gave a grown man, when i was a teen, about 100 to buy a kitana for me because i was not an adult and he did. So not every teen is like that.

However being that he has done this to a few people sort of means he really doesn't care. if he did he would be here not disputing what is going on. Granted it is a school day and all but if he really means what he is doing, breeding and raising such animals, he should try to put his best foot forward.

If anything, some may want to post on his profile, either, or both, that there is a BOI with his name on it. that may get him interested. if not we know exactly where he lies.
 
Anyways, i just visited his page here, seems like he logged on a few days ago. Not that it seems to matter to him.

But i just posted this, "Hey man, you should take a look at the BOI seeing as there is one about YOU!"

Seeing as he doesn't know me it might cause him to check and say something to everyone.

Who knows really... I just want to see happy customers.

Well that's good, and I would take that as an indication that at least he may not have set out to intentionally defraud people.

Maybe something happened and he's just too embarassed to admit it? He needs to let everyone know what's going on, though, no matter what it is... that's what's really making this look bad.

I hope this works out for everyone!

I could be way off base here, but I really think Chad just got in over his head had some problems and is too young to really know how to handle it. As long as everyone is fine receiving animals rather than refunds, I am optimistic that once the dust settles he will make this right. I am waiting for a returned call at this point.

I had sent Chad multiple emails telling him that all he had to do is respond, or else I was going to report him to paypal, and join in on this BOI thread...he still chose not to respond. So please don't make excuses for him.
