Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

BORK BORK BORK! (Sorry, it still cracks me up that I've always heard the Swedish Chef when thinking of your last name.)

Now... I have the new style CA liscense, so I can't compare it offhand to be sure 100%, but when I get home I'll look at my husband's, who still has the old background. BUT, the "texture" right at the end of the J doesn't look right, the banding patterns should (I believe) be smoothed over and circular, not vertical stripes. It looks an awful lot like a clone tool was used over and over in two rows to change or hide... something.

I think Broderick exists, however I do not think that Broderick is the one playing games with us right now. Chad, why did you cross out the address if the whole point was to show that you, as "Broderick", were a neighbor with you, "Chad"? This whole lame story is the biggest load of bull I have ever heard.

As someone who is two years older than you, it seems as though some of us simply have decency, and some do not. This is not an age thing.

Just a heads up? On Fauna? You're required to post under your full, legal name--y'know, what is on your government or state issued ID. So unless you've legally changed your name to the shortened version, admitting this will probably get you in trouble with the mods.
 
Actually the whole point of me posting is so that you know that I exhist. All im trying to do is post my geckos and sell them on here. Why is that so hard to let happen? Ive never even used this forum before and this is how I get treated? Like what the hell seriously you all have something against me on here all because of Chad.

You just dont get it do you? No matter what, you can take a photo ID pic, you can say you just bought his geckos and laptop, whatever you want to say, YOU HAVE THE SAME IP ADDRESS, THERES NOTHING MORE TO BE SAID, YOU ARE CAUGHT CHAD, GIVE UP.

And for the record, I'm not the one who said I'd be happy with a DL for proof- fake DLs are a dime a dozen.
 
Oh- and just by way of explanation, on the VERY remote chance you actually are NOT Chad- Chad knowingly and intentionally scammed quite a few buddies out of quite a bit of money. You say he warned you his reputation here wasn't good, so if in fact you did buy his collection off of him, you can't say you weren't warned...

Scroll back to the beginning of this thread, and get ahold of Jordan Russell, see if he'll vouch for you- he did meet Chad in person on several occasions, so could vouch for whether or not you are who you're claiming.

All the comments I have made in this thread are in fact directed at Chad, and Chad alone.

If you truly are not Chad and can actually prove it, then I will gladly apologize and assure you that none of it is directed at you at all.

I'm just being straightforward that based on Chad's history here and the evidence so far, I'm very far from being convinced that you are who you say you are, and not just another alias.

And I'm far from the only one who you'll have to convince...

Your geckos were his geckos...and his tainted reputation will follow them. It's like gettin g a stolen car for cheap. It doesn't matter who you are, the car is still hot. Unfortunately, if you aren't actually Chad, you will have a hard time reselling those animals.
 
My one question about your name Broderick, is that in post 210 you state that your name is very long and confusing, so you put your name down here on Fauna so people can pronounce it. Yet, where is that long name on your DL ? Did I misunderstand your post on that? I find it odd that you want people to be able to pronounce it, yet, this is a written forum, with no speach, so why do we need to know how to pronounce it? It is more important to know your real name. I would suggest you put your legal name down for Fauna or the mods will be all over you on that.



I put Vanwyn because its how you pronounce my name. Im Dutch so my lastname is very long and confusing so I tend to write Vanwyn just so its easy to pronounce.

Because Chad never made right with some of his previous customers -- you may own animals that other people have paid for. He likely sold you what, legally, is "stolen property" -- paid for but not delivered. I know one person here was shipped a gecko, but the wrong one, and was never refunded for the mistake, or shipped the correct gecko, which you now have.

If you have geckos other people paid for, or were sent the wrong ones, how are you going to fix it? Chad screwed them -- and you, he sold you animals that were no longer his to sell. But fixing Chad's mistakes, OR making him fix them since you apparently are still in contact with him, would go a long way.
 
Not defending "Broderick" here as my opinion remains the same thus far...

But I do have many friends who are first generation Americans who've changed the spelling of their names just b/c they're so different and difficult for Americans. Some do and some don't go through all the hoops it takes to change it "legally," though.

So to me that really doesn't have much bearing on the issue. (And if he'd just made up that ID to show here, seems like he would have made it match up exactly...? :shrug01:)
