It sure would have been nice to have known. Most people have to take the day or at least morning off for a delivery!!
I do not know of too many people his age, that if the grandfather was sick that it would influence his whole day, enough to the point where he not could have at least notified you.
Tara, this is just really crappy. What is the new plan of action now for Broderick/Chad/whoever to send this gecko out to you??

Its not like it was just ONE day either, I was given 3 Separate delivery days, and all 3 I didn't get any notification that it wasn't happening. I seriously have just given up on Chad-erick, and the gecko. I'm done with this whole mess.

Tara, I know this is hard. Just don't give up yet. Chaderick/Chad/Broderick whoever the heck he is or they are, still has ads up. He/They are still trying to sell animals here on this forum.
If you give up and this is not resolved he/they can continue to scam others.

"Im sorry Tara the internet has been out at my house and I tried logging in thru my phone but it would not let me see my messages. I am still dealing with alot of stuff bc of my grandpa, but i do really want to get your geko out to you. All this stress is adding up sorry. its like a million things at once right now."

had to cut and paste b/c I dont know how to do a screen shot...but the Million things going on, and the stress sounds SO familiar!

All of the excuses are out of the Scammer handbook. I hope he surprises you and sends this gecko out
I hope he is not a scammer and that he is not Chad. BUT....I have not gotten to the point of believing anything he has said so far

Hey Chad, I mean Broderick, I mean CHAD!!!

That was really nice of your friend to come over and take pictures of himself holding his license so you could use his identity to scam more people (which also explains why you have the same IP address as Chad…because YOU ARE HIM!)

You may have just gotten away with it for a while longer if you had actually retaken the geckos photos in your ads. It also kind of gives it away when “Broderick” tells us how hard a gecko is to photograph, when “Broderick” didn’t even take the picture…YOU did!

If you would have just sent me the gecko, instead of making up excuses, you probably could have gotten away with stealing peoples $ and keeping their geckos a little while longer!

Just so everyone is aware…”Broderick” told me that he’d ship out my gecko last Monday 6/20 for Tuesdays delivery. Tuesday morning came and went, no gecko. I got nervous, and asked for a tracking #, he replied that he forgot, and to please not tell anyone, and he would ship Wednesday for Thursdays delivery. Thursday again…no gecko. At 12pm I sent “Broderick” a message… “He’s not ever coming is he? L” Broderick replied that YES, he was indeed coming, but his grandfather is very sick, and he must stay with his family (he could’ve at least sent me a PM to let me know). His last email to me said that he would definitely be shipping my gecko Tuesday 6/28, for Wednesdays arrival…What a surprise! NO GECKO!

I honestly think Broderick VWgeckos IS Chad!!!!

My thoughts all along.

Smells like the same old Chad to me!! I only skimmed through the last few pages, but did he ever explain the exact same IP address to anyone? Unless I'm mistaken he would have to be at Chad's house using Chad's internet to have that exact same IP address show up.

It's very plausible (to me at least) that he had opened his friend a fauna account (for Chad to use) and it's been Chad we have been interacting with the whole time. He just got his friend to get some pics of his License to back up the "new" owner of the geckos story. I have no idea how to prove this true or not, but the whole story and reverting back to not shipping on the set date sounds like a big lie to me.

Personally I will do my best to make sure anyone I know never does business with either of these people or any future identities that they come up with. I really hope you get your gecko Tara, but I'm not optimistic about it.

Is Broderick's full info posted anywhere in this thread so it will come up in a BOI search? Or his VWgeckos or whatever. People need to be aware of the confusion regarding this person.
